DIGITAL MOLDING AND ASSOCIATED ARTICLES AND METHODS
The present disclosure relates generally to three-dimensionally printed molds, and associated methods, for use in manufacturing articles such as footwear. In some embodiments, for example, a three-dimensionally printed mold may be a master mold that is used to manufacture a secondary mold. The secondary mold may be used, in certain embodiments, to provide a cured material that can be transferred to a substrate, such as a textile, thereby providing the manufactured article. The use of such arrangements can, according to certain embodiments, allow for the production of improved articles of footwear and/or customized articles of footwear.
Mold for manufacturing slab and manufacturing method thereof
The present disclosure herein relates to a mold for manufacturing a slab. More particularly, the mold includes a first fabric layer, a first rubber layer disposed on the first fabric layer, a second fabric layer disposed on the first rubber layer, and a second rubber layer disposed on the second fabric layer. Here, the second rubber layer includes a base part and a frame part extending from an edge of the base part. Also, the base part and the frame part are integrated with each other.
Method for manufacturing transdermal absorption sheet
Provided is a method for manufacturing a transdermal absorption sheet which makes it possible to manufacture a transdermal absorption sheet with a stable shape. The method for manufacturing a transdermal absorption sheet includes a step of forming a drug layer (110) on needle-like recess portions (42) of a mold (50) having the needle-like recess portions (42), a step of supplying a polymer layer forming solution (112) to the inside of a step portion (52) of the mold (50), a step of drying the polymer layer forming solution (112) so as to form a polymer layer (114) and a transdermal absorption sheet (120), and a step of peeling off the transdermal absorption sheet (120) from the mold (50). In the step of peeling off, pressing force is applied to a part of the step portion (52) in a second direction (B) opposite to a first direction (A) in which the transdermal absorption sheet (120) is released from the mold (50), and the transdermal absorption sheet (120) is aspirated with a vacuum suction pad (160) from a side opposite to the mold (50) so that the transdermal absorption sheet (120) is peeled off from the mold (50) in the first direction (A).
THERMOPLASTIC ARTICLES HAVING PRECISE MICRO-SCALE FEATURES AND LONG-RANGE MACRO-SCALE REPRODUCIBILITY
A variety of thermoplastic parts are provided with precise micro-scale features and long-range macro-scale reproducibility. By combining the advantages of rigid tool molding and soft tooling into a hybrid tooling, complex and challenging microfeatures can be created in thermoplastic parts with remarkable positional accuracy and reproducibility. The parts described herein can demonstrate orders of magnitude smaller inter-part variations and order of magnitude smaller variations with respect to a master part as compared to conventional hard and soft tooling methods. In some aspects, a plurality of thermoplastic parts having precision micro-scale features and reproducible macro-scale dimensions are provided wherein the precision micro-scale features on each part comprise at least one challenging microfeature; and wherein a mean normalized displacement of the micro-scale features is about or less when measured between the parts in the plurality of thermoplastic parts.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SILICONE ELASTOMER MOLDS
Silicone compositions are described for the production of negative molds that include a silicone elastomer. The molds can be used in the production of molded articles.

The improved mold assembly for cultured marble molding is provided. The mold assembly can comprise a male mold portion and a female mold portion. The assembly can further comprise a molding tool. The molding tool can have a side wall having an upper curved portion and a lower curved portion. The molding tool can have a bowl portion and an apron portion spaced from the bowl portion by a gap. The molding tool can be constructed from a flexible and/or soft material. The molding tool can facilitate molding of a countertop having at least one seamless curved edge and/or an at least partially seamless sink portion.

Method and apparatus for embossing a substrate
An apparatus and method for embossing a substrate are disclosed. For example, the apparatus includes an embossing platform, a printhead to dispense ink on the embossing platform in a desired raised pattern on the embossing platform, a press to apply a load against a substrate placed on the desired raised pattern and the embossing platform to emboss the desired raised pattern onto the substrate, and an ink removal device to remove the ink that is dispensed on the embossing platform in the desired raised pattern.
Machine for adapting a fibre structure to a mould for manufacturing parts of composite material
The machine comprises a solid matrix (1), a deformable body (2) joined to the surface of said matrix (1), a shaping mould (3) and a securing system system (5) for the fibre structure (4). The matrix (1) is a solid element having a functional face, the geometry of which depends on the part to be manufactured. The deformable body (2) has an initial geometry that depends on the geometry to be given to the fibre structure (4). The shaping mould (3) has the geometry to be given to the fibre structure (4) during the process of adaptation to the shaping mould (3), and the shaping mould (3) is located such that the deformable body (2) is located between said shaping mould (3) and the matrix (1).
COMPRESSION MOLDING UTILIZING AN ELASTOMERIC COMPRESSION TOOL
Embodiments are directed toward compression molding a polymeric product. The method preferably includes creating a casting mold. Elastomeric material is preferably placed in the casting mold. The elastomeric material is preferably allowed to at least partially cure in the casting mold to define a plug body. The plug body is preferably removed from the casting mold. A female compression mold is preferably provided. Polymeric material is preferably placed in the female compression mold. The polymeric material is preferably compressed in the female compression mold with the plug body to compression mold a polymeric product.
