RUBBER PRODUCT WITH A PRINTED SURFACE AND METHOD FOR FORMING A PRINTED SURFACE ON THE SAME
A rubber product having a printed surface includes a base and a printed surface layer on the base. The printed surface layer is printed on a plate beforehand by way of printing using inks containing a rubber material. The plate and the printed surface layer are pre-heated for the printed surface layer to be formed on the plate. The plate and a natural rubber material are simultaneously placed inside a die assembly and are heated and pressed for the natural rubber material to form a base through a sulfurization process of the natural rubber material. The printed surface layer and the base are fused during the sulfurization process to form the rubber product with the printed surface ensuring better resistance against abrasion and corrosion.
Method of manufacturing a moulded article
A method of manufacturing a moulded article from first and second moulding compounds includes attaching a first moulding component to a carrier tool, placing the carrier tool and the attached first moulding component in a mould, applying a first moulding process, removing the carrier tool, placing a second moulding component in the mould, and applying a second moulding process to shape the first and second moulding components and bond the first moulding component to the second moulding component. A moulded article is also disclosed.
Screw systems
A screw system including a plurality of segmented blades. Each blade segment of the plurality of blade segments including a mounting portion and a vane portion. The mounting portion, having a helical length, for removably attaching the blade segment. The vane portion extending from the mounting portion along the helical length thereof. The vane portion having a front surface that is not parallel to a back surface from the mounting portion to a tip of the blade segment, along the helical length.
ANTIMICROBIAL ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An antimicrobial article includes a flexible substrate; and a plurality of first protrusions which is formed on at least one surface of the substrate, includes a crosslinked polymer resin and antimicrobial materials dispersed in the polymer resin, and is formed with first grooves in which at least one of bacteria, fungi, and viruses may be received. According to the present disclosure, in the antimicrobial article and the manufacturing method thereof, it is possible to greatly improve the antimicrobial effect of the antimicrobial article by minimizing a distance between bacteria, fungi, or viruses attached to the antimicrobial article and antimicrobial materials of the antimicrobial article to maximize the quantity of the antimicrobial materials that affect the bacteria, fungi, or viruses.
PROCESS FOR IN-MOLD COATING OF COMPOSITE AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS
Processes for forming composite aircraft components, i.e., aircraft components formed of a cured fiber-reinforced resin, are provided. According to specific embodiments, a finished surface of the composite aircraft component can be achieved by providing in-mold coating of the cured fiber-reinforced resin to thereby achieve a composite aircraft component having an exterior surface that does not necessarily require further finishing.
Automated Manufacturing Method and System and In-Mold Coated Plastic Article Produced Thereby
An automated manufacturing method and system and in-mold coated plastic article produced thereby are provided. The system includes a compression mold and a plurality of program-controlled manipulators. An automatic sprayer supported on a first manipulator sprays at least a portion of a mold surface with an in-mold coating composition. An end effector supported on a second manipulator picks up a heated blank of moldable plastic sheet material from an oven and places the heated blank between upper and lower mold halves of the mold. An inner portion of the heated blank is forced into an article-defining cavity of the mold and into contact with at least a portion of the in-mold coating composition. The in-mold coating composition and the inner portion of the heated blank cure and bond to one another so as to form the coated plastic article.
Automated Manufacturing Method and System and In-Mold Coated Plastic Article Produced Thereby
An automated manufacturing method and system and in-mold coated plastic article produced thereby are provided. The system includes a combination compression and injection mold and a plurality of program-controlled manipulators. An automatic sprayer supported on a first manipulator sprays at least a portion of a mold surface with an in-mold coating composition. An end effector supported on a second manipulator picks up a heated blank of moldable plastic sheet material from an oven and places the heated blank in the mold. An inner portion of the heated blank is forced into an article-defining cavity of the mold and into contact with at least a portion of the composition. The composition and the inner portion cure and bond to one another and a plastic compatible with the plastic of the sheet is injected into the mold so as to form the coated plastic article.
METHOD FOR TEXTURING A POLYAMIDE
A method for preparing an object including at least one film including at least one layer including a composition including at least one semi-crystalline polyamide having a melt enthalpy of between 25 J/g and 75 J/g, the film having on all or part of at least one of its surfaces the texture of a texturing element, wherein the method includes: a. providing a mold set to a temperature less than or equal to 120° C.; b. applying to the wall of the mold, at least one texturing element, and having at least partially a textured surface, the textured surface being on the face opposite that facing the mold; c. applying to the textured surface of the texturing element, at least one film comprising at least one layer, the thickness of the layer being at least 10 μm; d. applying heat and pressure to the film.
PLASTIC PAVER BLOCKS
A plastic patio paver block comprises a top panel, a sidewall depending downwardly from a periphery of the top panel, a plurality of internal support members that depend downwardly from an inner face of the top panel and that are spaced inwardly from the sidewall, a plurality of drainage openings provided in the top panel, and a granular UV resistant material embedded into an upwardly facing plastic face of the top panel, wherein a portion of the granular UV resistant material is partially embedded in the upwardly facing plastic face.
Patio blocks and method of providing a UV coating
A method for treating a plastic block comprising using heat to embed a UV resistant material into an outer face of the plastic block wherein, once embedded, the UV resistant material provides a coating on the outer face. A method for treating a plastic block comprising using compressive force to embed a UV resistant material into an outer face of the plastic block wherein, once embedded, the UV resistant material provides a coating on the outer face.
