HEAT-RESISTANT RELEASE SHEET AND THERMOCOMPRESSION BONDING METHOD
The heat-resistant release sheet of the present disclosure is a sheet including a sheet made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or a modified PTFE, wherein the sheet is disposed between a compression bonding target and a thermocompression head at the time of thermocompression-bonding the compression bonding target by the thermocompression head to prevent fixation between the compression bonding target and the thermocompression head, and the content of a tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) unit in the modified PTFE is 99 mass % or more. The heat-resistant release sheet of the present disclosure can more reliably meet a demand for a shorter time (work time) required for thermocompression bonding.

A resin molding apparatus and a cleaning method of a workpiece which can prevent a workpiece from being carried into a mold die in a state where particles (dust) are adhered to the workpiece, and can prevent deterioration of molding quality. A resin molding apparatus according to the present invention, in which a workpiece with an electronic component mounted on a carrier and a mold resin are carried into a mold die, includes: a press part having the mold die for clamping and resin-sealing the workpiece and the mold resin; and a cleaning apparatus for cleaning a back surface of the workpiece conveyed to the press part, wherein the electronic component is not mounted on the back surface. The cleaning apparatus is arranged at a position overlapping a conveyance path of the workpiece on the upstream side of the press part.
Conformable seamless three dimensional articles and methods therefor
Waterproof, breathable garments and methods of making are provided. The garments may include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The garment is conformable over a range of sizes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of forming molds. The ePTFE membrane may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, a mold having a desired size to form a garment. Such a conformable ePTFE membrane may allow for forming multiple sizes of garments with various sizes and shapes of molds. In embodiments where the ePTFE membrane is seamless and continuous, the garment eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make garments waterproof.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE PART COMPRISING A CORE AND AT LEAST ONE SKIN REGION
A method of manufacturing a composite part comprising a core and at least one skin region formed of a low friction UHMWPE skin polymer attached thereto, by: a) providing a mold with a heatable mold cavity; b) loading into the mold cavity UHMWPE powder followed by a core element having a surface with at least one contacting region provided with a plurality of anchoring sites, loading onto the core element, a layer of UHMWPE in powder form adjacent the contacting region, and applying a heat pressing step to melt the skin polymer powder to form a molten skin polymer matrix, and cooling to solidify the skin polymer matrix forming a skin region mechanically engaged into anchoring sites of the core element.

A protective member forming apparatus includes an ultraviolet radiation applying table that supports a workpiece on a support surface of a support plate thereof through which ultraviolet rays are transmittable, a delivery unit that holds a resin sheet to which the workpiece is fixed, to unload the workpiece from the ultraviolet radiation applying table, a resin supply unit that supplies an ultraviolet-curable liquid resin to the resin sheet placed on the support surface, a pressing unit that presses the workpiece from a reverse side thereof toward the liquid resin supplied to the resin sheet placed on the support surface, and an ionizer unit that ejects ionized air to the support surface of the ultraviolet radiation applying table.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A STRUCTURAL COMPONENT
A method is specified for producing a structural component, in particular for an aircraft, ground vehicle, or watercraft, or for a rotor blade of a wind turbine, in which method an arrangement of fibers and plastic material is laid in a mold and subjected to an increased pressure and an increased temperature, wherein a mold is used which comprises at least one recess in which a reinforcing element is arranged. The object is to be able to cost-effectively produce a structural component of this type. For this purpose, it is provided that the reinforcing element is laid in the recess together with a core, wherein a differential volume between the recess and core, at least in a predetermined region, is chosen such that it is smaller than a segment of the reinforcing element arranged in said region by a predetermined amount.

A method of manufacturing magnets and a method of manufacturing a rotor are provided. An intermediate member includes a sheet and magnet bodies. The sheet includes a first sheet surface and a second sheet surface on a side opposite to the first sheet surface. The magnet bodies are located on the first sheet surface. A first die is made of an elastic material having an elastic coefficient lower than the elastic coefficient of the magnet bodies. The intermediate member is arranged between the first die and a second die such that the second sheet surface of the sheet faces the first die. The first die and the second die hold the intermediate member in between. Accordingly, the sheet is cut at positions between adjacent ones of the magnet bodies.
