A system for making a nonwoven nonwoven spun-bond or melt-blown fabric has a spinneret for spinning fibers or filaments, a cooler downstream of the spinneret for cooling the spun fibers or filaments, a stretcher downstream of the cooler for stretching the cooled fibers or filaments, and a conveyor downstream of the stretcher. The stretched and cooled fibers or filaments are deposited as a nonwoven web on the conveyor. Sensors measure input parameters at the spinneret, at the cooler, at the stretcher, and/or at at least one diffuser or at the conveyor. An evaluating unit for determining an output parameter from the measured input parameter with respect to a predetermined reference parameter.

An imprint apparatus which includes a plurality of stations in which an imprint material supplied to an imprint region on a substrate is formed using a mold and a pattern is formed in the imprint region. The imprint apparatus includes: a holder provided in each of the plurality of stations and configured to hold the substrate and to adjust a temperature of the substrate; and a controller configured to output a target value used to adjust the temperature to the holder in a station in which a pattern is formed in a substrate among the plurality of stations on the basis of a size of the imprint region and a temperature of the substrate.

A resin supply apparatus, a resin sealing apparatus, and a method for manufacturing a resin-sealed product are provided. A resin supply apparatus supplies a resin onto a workpiece on which elements are arranged in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction, respectively. The resin supply apparatus includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring arrangement information of the elements on the workpiece; a supply unit for supplying the resin onto the workpiece; a calculation unit for calculating a resin supply pattern based on the arrangement information; and a drive unit for moving at least one of the workpiece and the supply unit relative to the other along the resin supply pattern. The resin supply pattern has linear paths extending along the first direction, and a region between the mutually adjacent linear paths in the plurality of linear paths is opened to the outside of the workpiece.

The invention relates to a powder hopper (101) for the gravity-driven feeding of powdered electrode precursor material (102) into a nip of a dry electrode calendar (2), said powder hopper comprising: a powder feed opening (105) for feeding powdered electrode precursor material (102) into the powder hopper; and a powder outlet opening (106) for metering the powdered electrode precursor material from the powder hopper into a nip, the cross-section of the powder hopper tapering between the powder feed opening and the powder outlet opening, and the powder hopper having a level detection means (103) for detecting the powder level of the powder hopper. The invention also relates to: a corresponding assembly consisting of a powder hopper and a first and a second roller that form a nip; and a method for operating a powder hopper.
Compression Molding Apparatus
A compression molding apparatus contains: a base, a carrying platform, at least one projector, a pressing mold, and a heater. The base includes a material feeding zone and a molding zone. The carrying platform moves into the molding zone from the material feeding zone, and when it is located in the material feeding zone, plural connecting pieces are stacked on the carrying platform. The at least one projector is fixed above the material feeding zone to project plural positioning images on the carrying platform, wherein each connecting piece is stacked on the carrying platform by aligning with each positioning image. The pressing mold is arranged above the molding zone, and when the carrying platform moves into the molding zone, the pressing mold moves to press the each connecting piece on the carrying platform. The heater is mounted on the base to heat the each connecting piece on the carrying platform.
Forming methods
This invention relates to methods for forming a polymer, including continuously depositing a polymer extrudate that is above its glass transition temperature onto a lower molding surface of a first mold in a manner that reduces shear stress in the polymer extrudate, heating the lower molding surface to maintain the polymer extrudate above the glass transition temperature, applying an upper molding surface of a second mold to at least the exposed upper surface of the polymer, allowing the polymer to transition to below the glass transition temperature while within or between the upper and lower molding surfaces, and providing heat sinks spaced relative to each other through the pressure forming zone, wherein a heat sink more advanced through the pressure forming zone is controlled to a lower temperature to progressively reduce the temperature of the polymer as it advances through the pressure forming zone.

An imprint apparatus for forming, by using a mold, a pattern of an imprint material on a layer formed on a surface pattern existing in a substrate, the apparatus including a calculation unit configured to output, based on information indicating a relationship among a geometric shape of the surface pattern, a thickness of the layer, a film thickness of the imprint material existing between the mold and the layer in a state in which the mold is in contact with the imprint material, and a shearing force generated in the imprint material in the state, a target film thickness of the imprint material required for generating the target shearing force in the imprint material, if the geometric shape of the surface pattern, the thickness of the layer, and a target shearing force are input.

A powdery-material feeding device includes a controller configured to selectively conduct constantly keeping-control of constantly keeping rotational speed of a motor, current or voltage applied to the motor without any change as a manipulated variable for a predetermined period, or feedback-control of repetitively obtaining a difference between a discharge flow rate of the powdery material and a target value thereof at predetermined cycles and adjusting by increasing or decreasing the manipulated variable at each of the predetermined cycles in order to reduce the difference, the controller conducts the constantly keeping-control immediately after a motor starts, shifts to the feedback-control when the difference between the discharge flow rate of the powdery material and the target value thereof has an absolute value less than a threshold after the period for the constantly keeping-control elapses, and conducts constantly keeping-control without shifting to the feedback-control when the absolute value of the difference between the discharge flow rate of the powdery material and the target value thereof is more than the threshold after the period for the constantly keeping-control elapses, and the manipulated variable during the repeated constantly keeping-control is changed in accordance with the difference between the discharge flow rate of the powdery material and the target value thereof after elapse of the period for latest constantly keeping-control.
Resin-sealing apparatus and resin-sealing method
There is provided a resin-sealing apparatus that supplies an appropriate amount of sheet-shaped resin for each workpiece, thereby improving the molding quality of a molded product without production of resin dust, such that no redundant resin is produced on a molded product. The resin-sealing apparatus includes a resin supply part that supplies a sheet-shaped resin by cutting out an amount of sheet-shaped resin appropriate for one-time compression molding from a long resin sheet formed to have a predetermined width and a predetermined thickness depending on an amount of resin required for each workpiece, and a transport part that transports the appropriate amount of sheet-shaped resin supplied by the resin supply part to a sealing mold.
