SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING OPERATING PARAMETERS OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT DURING A PRODUCT-DISPENSING OPERATION
A method for adjusting operating parameters of an agricultural implement during a product-dispensing operation may include monitoring a location of the agricultural implement while performing a product-dispensing pass across a field. The method may further include determining that the agricultural implement will encounter an operating parameter boundary prescribing a change in an operating parameter of the agricultural implement. Moreover, the method may include determining a transition boundary along the product-dispensing pass based at least in part on a propagation delay for the prescribed change, where the agricultural implement will cross the transition boundary before the operating parameter boundary. Additionally, the method may include initiating the change in the operating parameter when the agricultural implement reaches the transition boundary such that the prescribed change in the operating parameter is complete when the agricultural implement reaches the operating parameter boundary.
Commodity metering system for work vehicle and calibration method for same
A metering system includes a plurality of metering elements that are independently controllable. A calibration method of the present disclosure includes generating calibration factors for the individual metering elements. Also, a method of the present disclosure includes operating the metering elements according to the respective calibration factor.
AUTOMATIC SELECTIVE CONTROL VALVE (SVC) CONFIGURATION DETECTION, AND OPERATION ASSIGNMENT, DIRECTIONALITY CONFIRMATION, AND CALIBRATION FOR TOWABLE IMPLEMENTS TOWABLE BY WORK VEHICLES
Systems and methods provide automatic assignment of control of a plurality of hydraulic circuits of an associated work vehicle to a plurality of operation systems of an implement. A hydraulic circuit assignment control unit includes a processor, a memory device, logic stored in the memory device, and a communication circuit operatively coupled with the processor. The processor executes the logic to associate an activation of a first hydraulic circuit of the plurality of hydraulic circuits of the associated work vehicle with a physical exercise of an operation system of the plurality of operation systems of the associated implement, and generates pairing assignment data representative of the association of the activated first hydraulic circuit with the physical exercise of the operation system of the implement. The logic generates directionality confirmation and calibration data that is communicated to the plurality of operation systems with the pairing assignment data.
Agitation control system
An agitation control system of an agricultural system. The agitation control system includes an agitator that induces movement of particulate material through the agricultural system. An agitator motor couples to the agricultural system to move the agitator. A first motor couples to the agitation control system. The first motor includes a first sensor that detects a first temperature of the first motor and emits a first signal indicative of the first temperature. A controller couples to the agitator motor and to the first motor. The controller receives the first signal indicative of the first temperature from the first sensor and determines an ambient temperature from the first temperature. The controller controls the agitator motor in response to the ambient temperature.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR USING DUTY CYCLE OF SENSORS TO DETERMINE SEED OR PARTICLE FLOW RATE
In one embodiment, an electronic system comprises a display device to display data and processing logic coupled to the display device. The processing logic is configured to determine a duty cycle of at least one sensor for sensing flow of a product or particle through a product or particle line of an agricultural implement and to determine an amount of product or particles flowing through a line of the agricultural implement based on the duty cycle of the at least one sensor.
Device, Method, Meter Housing and Agricultural Implement for Airflow Assisted Feeding of Granular Material in an Agricultural Implement
This document concerns a device for airflow-assisted feeding of granular material in an agricultural implement, comprising an air inlet (1611, 1612), a material inlet (167), and an outlet (162) for material-laden airflow, a roof (163), the horizontal extension of which defines a material pickup zone (160), wherein the material inlet (167), air inlet (1611, 1612) and outlet (162) are connected to the material pickup zone (160), wherein the device furthermore comprises an air inlet valve (164) containing a valve seat (1641) and a valve body (1642). The valve body is rotatable about a geometric axis which is substantially perpendicular to a flow direction at the air inlet. The document also concerns a method for airflow-assisted feeding of material in an agricultural implement, a meter housing, and an agricultural implement comprising such a meter housing. It also concerns a frame for a material pickup module and a method for forming a meter housing.
Control system for air seeder venting system
In one embodiment, an air seeder tower includes a valve with an actuator, and a closed loop feedback control with a sensor to control actuation of the valve to control air flow out of the air seeder vent tower.
SEED INDUCTOR APPARATUS
An inductor apparatus includes an inductor assembly mounted under a seed container such that seeds flow into a reservoir. An air conduit carrying pressurized air extends along the reservoir. Seed channels extend from an inlet located above a pickup air opening in the air conduit to an outlet, and a bypass channel extends downward from each seed channel through an upper wall of the air conduit. A pickup air stream flowing out the pickup air opening forms a seed air stream entrained with seeds flowing into each seed channel inlet and a bypass air stream flows from the air conduit through each bypass channel into each seed channel and the combined seed and bypass air streams flow out the seed channel outlets. The seed channel outlets can be arranged along each side of the inductor assembly, and the rate of flow of the bypass air stream can be adjusted.
High flow fertilizer/air meter with secondary nozzling
Agricultural implements are used to transport material, such as inputs in the form of fertilizer, seed, treatment, or some combination thereof, to row units that apply the material to an area of a field. Metering systems can aid in metering and providing a desired amount of material, such as on-demand, to the row units. The metering systems move the metered material to the row units, such as with pneumatics or other fluids. The metering system can be improved by having primary and secondary nozzles of different sizes, which aid in increasing the speed of the fluid moving the material towards the row units. For example, a smaller diameter for the secondary nozzle will provide improved suction and air speed.
