Method of making surf fin including injection molded pre-impregnated composite fiber matrix inserts
A method of forming a fin configured for use with a water sports board. The method includes providing a mold having a mold cavity and first and second insert pre-preg sheets each including structural strands respectively bonded by first and second resin materials. The method further includes placing the insert pre-preg sheets within the mold cavity. The method further includes injecting a third resin material under pressure into the mold cavity between the first insert pre-preg sheet and the second insert pre-preg sheet to urge the first insert pre-preg sheet and the second insert pre-preg sheet away from each other and towards respective ones of the pair of mold cavity faces, and dispose the third resin material between the first insert pre-preg sheet and the second insert pre-preg sheet to space at least a portion of the first insert pre-preg sheet from the second insert pre-preg sheet.
COPLANAR MODULAR PRINTBARS
In various examples, a printbar is formed from multiple modular fluid ejection subassemblies joined together through a molding process that provides for a continuous planar substrate surface. A mold may secure the modular fluid ejection subassemblies during a molding process in which a runner conveys a molding material to seams between the joined modular fluid ejection subassemblies.
Method for manufacturing car roller shutter door
The invention relates to a technical field of car roller shutter door production, in particular to a method for manufacturing a car roller shutter door. A single film piece is firstly vacuum formed into a desired shape, and then rubber is injected into the film piece after vacuum forming, so that the rubber and the film piece are integrally formed to form a single roller shutter strip, and then a required number of single roller shutter strips are placed and laminated on a flexible substrate in an integrated and orderly manner to form a car roller shutter door. Each of roller shutter strips is independent of each other and does not interfere or affect each other, which improves flexibility of the car roller shutter door. Compared with long strips of whole film sheet on the car roller shutter door in the prior art, each of film pieces of the present invention is independent of each other and does not have defect of easy fracture of the whole film sheet, which makes service life long. In addition, production of the single film piece is less expensive and more efficient, and pattern design is flexible. When one of the roller shutter strips is damaged, only the damaged roller shutter strip needs to be replaced in a targeted manner, avoiding the waste of resources and reducing maintenance costs.
Vehicle interior board and method for manufacturing same
A vehicle interior board which has less deterioration and peeling near an end portion of a metal plate, has high quality, is thin, lightweight, and has high strength and excellent productivity. The vehicle interior board includes a pair of metal plates and a foamed polyurethane layer formed between the pair of metal plates. At the peripheral edge portion of the vehicle interior board, the foamed polyurethane layer covers peripheral end portions of the metal plates and is formed flush with outer surfaces of the metal plates. This makes it possible to suppress oxidation of the peripheral end portions which are cutting surfaces of the metal plates. Further, bonding is good between the metal plates and the foamed polyurethane layer. Further, it is possible to prevent peeling of the metal plates, chipping of the foamed polyurethane layer, and the like. Furthermore, it is easy to demold a vehicle interior board.

Anti-scatter grid device and method for making the same
A system and method for making an anti-scatter grid device is provided. The method may include providing a mold including one or more orientation structures arranged in first positions. The method may also include placing a plurality of plates including a first material into at least one of the orientation structures, and injecting a second material into a first cavity in the mold formed by the plurality of plates and the orientation structures. The method may further include separating the plurality of plates and the hardened second material from the mold to generate a first module.
MANUFACTURING METHODS AND RELATED STRUCTURES, FOR EXAMPLE USEFUL IN AIRFRAMES AND OTHER STRUCTURES
A method of manufacturing includes assembling two or more parts (e.g., non-extrusions) or extrusions (e.g., metal extrusions or plastic extrusions) into an assembly; placing the assembly into a mold; injecting a core material (e.g., expandable foam) into an interior or cavity of the assembly while the assembly is retained in the mold; and removing a resulting structure from the mold. The parts or extrusions may be treated before injecting the core material. The core material may be hardened or cured. The parts or extrusions may include a skin portion and integral reinforcement structures or stiffeners, integral complementary joint portions or features to fasten one another together, and/or retainers or structural features shaped and positioned to capture and/or hold onto core.
METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL IN SANDWICH FORM
The object of the invention can be a method of manufacturing a product in the form of a sandwich comprising a core and outer layers. The outer layers may be composed of composite material comprising a fiber-reinforced polymeric matrix. The method uses an insert of heat-resistant material, for example silicone. The object of this invention can be to provide a method of manufacturing a sandwich that dissociates the choice of material of the core of the sandwich from the choice of the material of the outer layers.
Method for manufacturing three-dimensional items with flexible walls
A method for manufacturing three-dimensional items with flexible walls is provided, by method of a mold and counter-mold between which a volume corresponding to that of the item to be obtained is delimited. The item is made up of laminar parts which are mounted on a template that is fixed to the inner surface of the mold. The laminar parts are joined to one another by means of a material which is injected in molten state through a network of conduits delimited between the counter-mold, template and the facing edges of adjacent laminar parts. The template is made of an elastically deformable material and has a three-dimensional configuration.
