ROW CLEANER DIVERTER
An agricultural row cleaner having: a frame; a first row cleaner wheel disposed on a first side of the frame; a second row cleaner wheel disposed on a second side of the frame; and a third wheel attached to the frame and having a leading edge disposed forward of the first row cleaner wheel and the second row cleaner wheel along a direction of travel.
REVERSIBLE SEED TRENCH APPURTENANCE ASSEMBLY
A reversible seed trench appurtenance including: a mounting frame operably connectable to an optional mounting bracket; a frame connected to the mounting frame, the frame having a first side and a second side; a neck body comprising a neck, wherein the neck body is fixedly connected to the frame or the neck body is connected to the mounting frame; a tail connected to the neck body; a post; and a hook; wherein the hook is engageable with the post; and wherein one of: (i) the post is disposed between the first side and the second side, and the neck body further comprises the hook; or (ii) the hook comprises a first hook and a second hook, the first side comprises the first hook, the second side comprises the second hook, and the neck body further comprises the post.
Agricultural ground opener depth adjustment mechanism
Ground opener units for agricultural seeding machinery and the like utilise a gauge wheel and associated depth adjustment mechanism for regulating the penetration depth of the disk opener in use. An improved gauge wheel adjustment assembly comprises a spindle adapted to be rotatably supported in a spindle sleeve, the spindle having a shaft with a first end with a rectangular boss adapted for engagement with a depth adjustment handle of the disk opener and a second end with a tapered spline engagement formation. A gauge wheel support arm has a complementary tapered spline formation for engagement with the spindle second end.
Crop input applicator systems, methods, and apparatuses
In one aspect, a planter row unit is provided an includes a frame, a first opener disc configured to open a seed trench, and a second opener disc configured to open a second trench different than the seed trench. The second opener disc is rotatable relative to the frame and is vertically moveable relative to the frame. In one aspect, an opener assembly is provided and includes a bracket, an opener disc coupled to the bracket and rotatable relative to the bracket and vertically moveable relative to the bracket, and a biasing member coupled to and between the bracket and the opener disc. The biasing member biases the opener disc vertically downward. In one aspect, a planter row unit is provided and includes an applicator support member made of a resilient material to allow movement of the applicator support member and inhibit deformation of the applicator support member.
AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS HAVING SENSORS TO DETECT PLUGGING OF ROW UNITS, AND RELATED CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An agricultural implement includes a frame having an elongate toolbar carrying a plurality of row units. A sensor is configured to detect residue accumulation between adjacent row units. An actuator is configured to raise or lower a row unit based at least in part on the residue accumulation detected by the sensor. Control systems and related methods are also disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND APPARATUSES FOR SOIL AND SEED MONITORING
A processing system having: a central processing unit (“CPU”) to execute instructions for processing agricultural data; and a communication unit to transmit and receive agricultural data, the CPU is configured to execute instructions to obtain soil temperature from a soil apparatus having at least one sensor to sense soil temperature, to obtain air temperature, to determine a temperature offset based on the soil temperature and the air temperature, to obtain a predicted air temperature, and to determine predicted soil temperature for a future time period based on the temperature offset and the predicted air temperature.
SEEDING DEVICE FOR MODULAR GANTRY FARMING EQUIPMENT
A seeding device for depositing seeds in a soil material, comprising: (i) a frame detachably mounted to a support structure of a moveable gantry, (ii) a plurality of discs rotatably mounted about a shaft of the frame and configured to be vertically lowered into the soil at a predefined depth relative to the ground plane, and, (iii) a seed deposition system mounted to the frame configured to dispense seeds into a plurality of seeding tubes. Each seeding tube is aligned with, and disposed downstream from, a respective one of the plurality of discs such that as the frame traverses over the soil by displacement of flue moveable gantry, grooves are produced in the soil by the plurality of discs, and seeds are deposited into each groove by the seeding tubes of the seed deposition system.
SYSTEMS AND APPARATUSES FOR SOIL AND SEED MONITORING
A processing system having: a processing unit to execute instructions for processing agricultural data; and a memory to store agricultural data, the processing unit is configured to execute instructions to obtain soil data from at least one sensor of an implement, and to determine, based on the soil data, seed germination data including at least one of time to germination, time to emergence, and seed germination risk for display on a display device.
SYSTEMS AND APPARATUSES FOR SOIL AND SEED MONITORING
A processing system having: a processing unit to execute instructions for processing agricultural data; and a memory to store agricultural data, the processing unit is configured to execute instructions to obtain properties for seed environment data including at least two of soil color, residue, topography, soil texture and type, organic matter, soil temperature, soil moisture, seed shape and size, seed cold germ, furrow depth, predicted temperature, predicted precipitation, predicted wind speed, and predicted cloud cover, and to determine seed environment data based on the properties.
