Agricultural row unit systems, methods, and apparatus
A row unit for an agricultural planter having features for releasably operably coupling a seed meter of the row unit to a seed deposition apparatus of the row unit such as a seed conveyor, seed tube or the like. Apparatus are provided for tipping a seed meter of the hopper for disengagement from the seed deposition apparatus. Apparatus are provided for biasing the seed deposition apparatus into operative engagement with the seed meter. The row unit includes features such as latches for releasably operably coupling the row unit to crop input and vacuum supply lines. Apparatus are provided for tipping a seed meter of the hopper for disengagement from the crop input and vacuum supply lines. Systems are provided for supplying vacuum and crop inputs to the seed meter via the releasably engageable apparatus.
TOOL BAR PIVOT HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
An agricultural implement system includes a tow bar configured to couple to a hitch assembly. The agricultural implement system also includes a tool bar pivot hinge assembly comprising two pivot points. The agricultural implement system additionally includes a first tool bar member mechanically coupled to a second tool bar member via the tool bar pivot hinge assembly; the first tool bar member extending transversely from the tow bar, wherein the tool bar pivot hinge assembly provides for an axis of rotation of the second tool bar member about the first tool bar member and additionally provides for an extension of the second tool bar member away from the first tool bar member.
Agricultural machine with at least one articulated seeder bar
An agricultural machine having a trailed chassis and a transverse bar in several portions extending substantially transversely to the direction of advance in the work position and extending substantially parallel to the direction of advance in the transport position, the transverse bar includes two portions able to be folded around a first respective articulation with a substantially vertical axis, each portion supports a seeder device made up of a hopper and a seeder bar. Each seeder bar is fixed on the corresponding portion using a second articulation with a substantially horizontal axis oriented parallel to the direction of advance in the work position.
Mounting assembly for a product distribution system of an air cart
A product distribution system mounting assembly includes at least one bracket that is rigidly coupled to a frame of an air cart and at least one crossbar that supports at least one component of a product distribution system of the air cart. The at least one crossbar is slidingly coupled to the at least one bracket, thereby enabling the product distribution system of the air cart to move along a vertical axis relative to the at least one bracket and relative to the frame of the air cart as the air cart moves in a direction of travel through a field.

A small hand-guided self-propelled garlic planter includes a rack, a driving mechanism connected to an upright planting mechanism and a material taking mechanism in a stock bin by using a clutch mechanism. The stock bin is fixedly connected to the rack. The planting mechanism includes a material receiving mechanism fixed to the rack and an insertion type planting mechanism disposed below the material receiving mechanism. The insertion type planting mechanism is connected to a turnable mechanism mounted to the rack, which is connected to the driving mechanism. A plurality of first feed bowls are disposed on the material receiving mechanism. The first feed bowls are connected to a first opening mechanism. A first acting member is disposed on the insertion type planting mechanism. A plurality of duckbills connected to a second opening are disposed on the insertion type planting mechanism. A second acting member is disposed on the rack.
Planter row unit downforce control with ground view sensor
A row unit for a seeding machine includes a ground view sensor coupled to the frame. The ground view sensor is operable to sense the furrow and generate depth signals corresponding to actual sensed depth of the furrow. The row unit also includes a controller configured to receive the signals, and a downforce adjustment mechanism coupled to the frame and to the controller. The controller is configured to activate the downforce adjustment mechanism to adjust a downforce on the frame based on the signals received by the controller.
AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT HAVING A WING WHEEL LINKAGE ASSEMBLY
An agricultural implement includes a main frame assembly, a toolbar coupled to the main frame assembly, and a wing wheel linkage assembly coupled to the toolbar. The agricultural implement also includes a wing wheel rotatably coupled to the wing wheel linkage assembly. In addition, the agricultural implement includes an actuator coupled to the wing wheel linkage assembly and configured to drive the wing wheel linkage assembly to move the wing wheel linkage assembly substantially along a vertical axis between a planting position and a headland position.
SEEDING APPARATUS
A seeding apparatus includes a frame supported on ground-engaging wheels, an opening device for creating a trench, a seed reservoir, and seed dispensing apparatus configured to deposit seed in the trench. The opening device is mounted to the frame by a four-bar linkage having first and second link arms. Each of the first and second link arms is pivotably connected to the frame by respective first and second pivot joints, and to the opening device by respective third and fourth pivot joints disposed forwardly of the first and second pivot joints. The opening device is ‘pushed’ through the soil via the four-bar linkage.
PLANTER ROW UNIT DOWNFORCE CONTROL WITH GROUND VIEW SENSOR
A row unit for a seeding machine includes a ground view sensor coupled to the frame. The ground view sensor is operable to sense the furrow and generate depth signals corresponding to actual sensed depth of the furrow. The row unit also includes a controller configured to receive the signals, and a downforce adjustment mechanism coupled to the frame and to the controller. The controller is configured to activate the downforce adjustment mechanism to adjust a downforce on the frame based on the signals received by the controller.
AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT FOR DISTRIBUTION OF PRODUCT, SUCH AS A MIXER COMPRISING A TANK HAVING AT LEAST ONE DISCHARGE OPENING
An agricultural equipment for distribution of product, such as a mixer, including a tank having at least one discharge opening, a bottom and a lateral wall, mounted on a chassis and provided with at least one discharge opening made in the lateral wall and defining a passage of rectangular shape, wherein a rotary drive mechanism that conveys the product through the opening is mounted in the tank and defines the first and second lateral rims of the opening in the direction of rotation of the mechanism. The discharge opening is provided in the region of the second lateral wall with at least one surface-occupying or volume-occupying obstructive structure that reduces the passage cross section of the opening and/or determines the geometry of this second rim at least partly.
