The disclosed embodiment is related to a manufacturing method of a die-formed 3-dimensional plastic impeller of a centrifugal pump and the impeller manufactured thereby, including a mold for twisted blade and a mold for impeller outlet, the mold for twisted blade is configured to form a twisted blade portion of each blade of the impeller, the mold for impeller outlet is configured to form a rear portion of each blade, a hub rim part of the impeller, and a shroud rim part of the impeller so that the hub rim part, the shroud rim part, and the blades are formed in a single piece at the same molding process.

There is provided a mold for molding a tape reel that is made of a resin and that includes a cylindrical portion, a bottom portion formed on a proximal end side of the cylindrical portion, and a plurality of through holes penetrating the bottom portion and arranged in a peripheral direction of the cylindrical portion, the mold including: a bottom surface that is used to form the bottom portion; a tubular surface that is used to form the cylindrical portion; and a plurality of projecting portions that protrude from the bottom surface and are used to form the plurality of through holes, respectively, in which, in the tubular surface, a first portion corresponding to a portion between the projecting portions adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction, among the plurality of projecting portions, has a shape that bulges toward a radially outer side of the bottom surface than a second portion corresponding to the projecting portion.

The resin injection gate is disposed at the pillar part. When the bearing cage is divided into first and second regions by an imaginary line connecting the resin injection gate and a weld to be formed at a position radially facing the resin injection gate, a resin reservoir that can store therein the melted resin is formed at the pillar part in only one of the regions. A circumferential distance between the resin reservoir and the weld is smaller than a circumferential distance between the resin reservoir and the resin injection gate. A cross-sectional area of a communicating part of the resin reservoir, which is configured to communicate with the pillar part, is equal to or less than a quarter of a cross-sectional area of the resin injection gate.

A molding tool for forming a non-pneumatic tire includes a wheel portion cavity, a tread ring portion cavity, and a plurality of spoke cavities extending between the wheel portion cavity and the tread ring portion cavity. At least a subset spoke cavities within the plurality of spoke cavities include at least one of a non-uniform thickness, a non-uniform width, and a non-uniform surface. Also, the molding tool can include a conformal thermal control channel, e.g., a conformal cooling channel and/or a conformal heating channel, proximate to at least one mold cavity.
BALLOON FOR EXPANDING AN ORIFICE
A balloon is disclosed for expanding an orifice. The balloon comprises a hollow body having a head. The body is closed at a distal end and open at a proximal end. The head extends from the distal end. The balloon also comprises a hollow neck positioned between the open proximal end and the distal end of the body. In the balloon, a wall thickness of the neck is greater than a wall thickness of the head. In a variation, the balloon can be configured such that, when the balloon is inflated, the head expands in a radial direction greater than in the longitudinal direction and a diameter of the body remains approximately constant during inflation. Also disclosed is a system for expanding an orifice. The system includes such a balloon and an inflation device for inflating the balloon. Also disclosed is a kit comprising the system and a container. Further, disclosed is a mould and a method for forming the balloon.

Donut tooling mold structure and method
An injection molding apparatus for generally toroidal or donut-shaped articles having a hollow interior includes a hollow-interior forming member that is positioned within the mold cavity during injection to form the hollow interior of the article, and that is moved away from the mold cavity to allow removal of the molded article when the injection molding apparatus is opened following molding. The hollow-interior forming member includes an open section or gap that is closed by a gap-filling member when the injection molding apparatus is closed. When the injection molding apparatus is opened following molding, the gap-filling member vacates the open section or gap to enable the molded article to be manually separated from the annular member.
