Provided is an interdental cleaning tool which has a simple configuration and can effectively prevent an occurrence of breakage of a core base portion when inserting the interdental cleaning tool into an interdental space or during interdental cleaning without reducing productivity of the interdental cleaning tool. An interdental cleaning tool (1) includes: a base portion (10) made of a synthetic resin; and a soft portion (20) made of an elastomer, the base portion (10) having a handle base portion (11) and a core base portion (12), the soft portion (20) having at least a cleaning soft portion (21) that covers the core base portion (12), in which two or more cleaning portion recesses (14) which penetrate the cleaning soft portion (21) and form core base portion recesses in the core base portion (12) are formed on each of a first side portion and second side portion of a cleaning portion (2) at an interval in an axial direction of the cleaning portion (2), and at least one set of two cleaning portion recesses (14) out of plural sets of cleaning portion recesses (14) paired with each other between the first side portion and the second side portion are formed at an interval in the axial direction of the cleaning portion (2) so as not to overlap each other in a circumferential direction of the cleaning portion (2).
FLUID MANIFOLD AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A fluid manifold may include a body that may include a proximal end, a distal end, and a primary manifold component extending from the proximal end of the body to the distal end of the body and enclosing a primary channel. The fluid manifold may further include at least one auxiliary manifold component diverging from the primary manifold component and enclosing an auxiliary channel connected to the primary channel at a primary channel exit port. The fluid manifold may further include at least one compression valve region disposed along the body of the manifold where the compression valve region may be operable between an open position and a closed position.
METHOD OF MAKING A UNITARY BRUSH HEAD AND UNITARY TOOTHBRUSH HEAD
A method of manufacturing a unitary toothbrush head having a base and filaments extending therefrom. The method includes steps of injecting molten plastic material into a mold cavity having a pre-base cavity and a filament cavity extending therefrom; compressing the molten plastic material, once it is essentially filling the pre-base cavity, by impressing a punching tool into the molten plastic material from the rear side of the pre-base cavity being opposite to a side from which the filament cavity extends; and filling the filament cavity with the molten plastic material under the continuous impression of the punching tool.
Hollow microneedle with beveled tip
An article having at least one microneedle (160, 260) is provided. The microneedle includes a base (162), an elongated body (161) having a central axis (130) and a body diameter (168), a tip portion (166), and a hollow channel (170). The a tip portion includes a tip (164), a first bevel face (140) oriented diagonally with respect to the central axis and extending through at least 75% of the body diameter, a second bevel face (146) oriented substantially perpendicular to the central axis and intersecting the first bevel face, and a bevel opening defined by a first edge (174) of the first bevel face and a second edge (176) of the second bevel face. The hollow channel extends axially into the body from the bevel opening (172).
INTERDENTAL CLEANING TOOL
Provided is an interdental cleaning tool which has a simple configuration and can effectively prevent an occurrence of breakage of a core base portion when inserting the interdental cleaning tool into an interdental space or during interdental cleaning without reducing productivity of the interdental cleaning tool, and provided is a method for manufacturing the interdental cleaning tool. An interdental cleaning tool (1) includes: a base portion (10) made of a synthetic resin; and a soft portion (20) made of an elastomer, the base portion (10) having a handle base portion (11) and a core base portion (12), the soft portion (20) having at least a cleaning soft portion (21) that covers the core base portion (12), in which a handle portion (3) as a grip is constituted by the handle base portion (11), and a cleaning portion (2) for interdental cleaning is constituted by the core base portion (12) and the cleaning soft portion (21), wherein two or more cleaning portion recesses (14) which penetrate the cleaning soft portion (21) and form core base portion recesses having a maximum depth d of 0.01 mm or more and 0.085 mm or less in the core base portion (12) are formed in each of a first side portion and a second side portion of the cleaning portion (2) at intervals in an axial direction of the cleaning portion (2).
Tool insert for the production of an object, production method and object
A tool insert for the production of an object by an injection molding method, wherein the injection molding tool includes an insert frame and at least one lamination assembly having a plurality of individual laminations, wherein the at least one lamination assembly is inserted in the insert frame. In further aspects, the invention relates to a method and a system for producing an object having curved surfaces using the tool insert, and to an object which can be produced with the method. The system for producing an object comprises a tool insert and a sliding element. A basic idea of the invention is that curved surfaces can be introduced into the object in that the insert frame has curved surfaces and/or at least one distortion cushion is arranged between the insert frame and the at least one lamination assembly.
Die insert for molding a speaker grille
An insert of a die for molding a speaker grille includes a forming member. The forming member defines a forming surface, from which a plurality of pins extend for forming apertures in a speaker grille. The forming surface defines a plurality of apertures disposed at spaced locations between the pins. The apertures are interconnected with a plurality vent channels communicating the apertures with the vent channels for venting air disposed in a die when melted polymer used to form the speaker grill is injected into the die. The forming member and the vent channels are formed as a monolithic construction.
A BODY CARE BRUSH WITH INJECTED BRISTLES
A body care brush, especially a toothbrush, having a brush head, containing a main body that has a head part and containing a plurality of care bristles, wherein the care bristles are provided on the head part via a bristle carrier and form a bristle field, the head part and bristle field being part of the brush head. The care bristles are injection molded as one piece together with the bristle carrier by an injection molding process.
