SOUNDPROOF HEAT-DISSIPATION COVER, COVER MEMBER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SOUNDPROOF HEAT DISSIPATION COVER
A soundproof heat-dissipation cover (3) that covers a target object (2), and includes a heat-dissipation contact surface (10) having a contact part (12) contacting the target object (2). The density is 0.1 g/cm.sup.3 to 2.0 g/cm.sup.3, the thermal conductivity is 0.1 W/m to 2.0 W/mK, and the maximum height roughness (Rz) of the heat-dissipation contact surface (10) is 50 m to 300 m. With an air layer formed between the surface of the target object (2) and the heat-dissipation contact surface (10) of the soundproof heat dissipation cover (3), the contact area between the surface of the target object (2) and the heat-dissipation contact surface (10) of the soundproof heat-dissipation cover (3) can be reduced, the vibration received by the soundproof heat-dissipation cover (3) from the surface of the target object (2) can be suppressed, and the secondary radiation sound from the soundproof heat-dissipation cover (3) can be suppressed.
Method for producing gramophone records by injection moulding
A method for producing gramophone records by injection moulding, comprises the steps of heating polymeric material to liquefy said material, supplying liquid polymeric material under pressure from a feed zone to a space between two mould parts via a nozzle. The liquid polymeric material is passed through a single passage located in one of the mould parts and forced under pressure through the nozzle into said space. Polyethylene terephthalate isophthalic acid modified copolymer is used as said polymeric material.
Molded resin product, method for manufacturing molded resin product, mold, and apparatus for manufacturing molded resin product
A molded resin product includes a plurality of protrusions formed in a predetermined region. A histogram indicating a height distribution of the plurality of protrusions has two peaks having a boundary height as a boundary therebetween. In a case where protrusions having height equal to or smaller than the height Hx are first protrusions and protrusions having height larger than the boundary height are second protrusions among the plurality of protrusions, an arithmetic mean curvature of the first protrusions is smaller than an arithmetic mean curvature of the second protrusions.
FAIRING DEVICE AND METHODS OF FORMING A FAIRING DEVICE
A fairing device includes a first support element having a first end and a second end. A second support element is positioned proximate to the first end of the first support element. A structure couples the first support element to the second support element and supports the first support element with respect to the second support element to form the fairing device. A method of forming the fairing device using a molding process is also disclosed.
Preform mold component
A component of a mold for molding preforms made of thermoplastic material, comprising at least a first part (10) and at least a second part (20) adapted to mold part of the outer surface of a preform, wherein, when the first part (10) and the second part (20) are assembled to each other, at least a first surface (11) of the first part (10) and at least a second surface (21) of the second part (20) face each other and are spaced apart from each other, thus delimiting a passageway for gases or vapors to leave the mold; and wherein at least one of said first surface (11) and said second surface (21) comprises laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSSs).

A method for producing gramophone records by injection moulding, comprises the steps of heating polymeric material to liquefy said material, supplying liquid polymeric material under pressure from a feed zone to a space between two mould parts via a nozzle. SIGNALING ARRANGEMENTS EMPLOYING MOLDED THERMOPLASTICS
A thermoplastic resin is molded to define a container bearing a surface 2D code signal, such as a digital watermark pattern. In some arrangements, the mold dimensions are tailored, and process parameters are selected, so that an indentation in the mold gives rise to a corresponding indentationrather than a corresponding protrusionin the shaped plastic. In other arrangements, a metal mold is provided with a patterned resin on its surface to define the 2D code signal. The resin may take the form of a rigid or non-rigid insert that can be removed or re-worked to change the code signal without changing the metal mold. A variety of other improvements and arrangements are also detailed.
