MOLDED BODY AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A molded body according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a molded body obtained by molding resin and used by allowing light to pass through the resin. In this molded body, a gate mark as a mark of a gate through which resin was injected during molding is disposed to a bonding surface to be bonded to an other member having no light transmittance, that is, to a bonding surface in the molded body.
HOT RUNNER SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED NOZZLE HEATING DEVICES
A hot runner injection molding apparatus includes a hot runner nozzle and a first heater coupled to the nozzle body of the nozzle. A separate mold gate insert surrounds a nozzle tip area of the nozzle. The mold gate insert is heated by a second heater that is separate and independent from the nozzle body heater. The temperature generated by the first and second heaters is measured by a first thermocouple and a second thermocouple, respectively. A controller is used to adjust at any time the temperature of the first and second heaters independently. The second heater is used to either i) melt, and thus enable a faster removal of, a colder molten material accumulated around the nozzle tip during a color change procedure or ii) to reduce or increase the temperature of the nozzle tip differently from one nozzle to the next.

INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS WITH A THERMAL BRIDGE
An injection molding apparatus and hot runner system are disclosed. The injection molding apparatus includes a plurality of mold plates in which the hot runner system is received. A manifold receives molding material and has a manifold channel that extends between an inlet and an outlet. A nozzle delivers moldable material to a mold cavity. The nozzle has a nozzle channel in fluid communication between the manifold channel and the mold cavity. A valve pin seal is located at the upstream end of the nozzle, and a valve pin that is connected to an actuator extends through the manifold and nozzle is slidably received in the valve pin seal. The hot runner system further includes a thermal bridge that is in conductive thermal communication with the valve pin seal and a cooled one of the plurality of mold plates.
PREFORM, RESIN-MADE CONTAINER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A preform including: an opening portion; a body portion; and a bottom portion, the preform having a two-layer structure in which the body portion and the bottom portion include an inner layer made of a virgin material and an outer layer made of a recycled material, in which a weight ratio of the recycled material to a total weight of the preform is 50% by weight or more, a ratio of a thickness of the outer layer to a thickness of the inner layer in the body portion is 1.5 or more, and a haze of a body portion of a container molded from the preform is 1.8% or less.

HOT RUNNER SLEEVE HEATER
A sleeve heater for supplying heat to a melt delivery component of a hot runner system. The sleeve heater includes a tube-shaped body having an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface of the tube-shaped body defines an opening in which a melt delivery component is received. A heater wraps at least partially around the tube-shaped body and extends along a length of the tube-shaped body. A thermocouple groove is formed in the outer surface of the tube-shaped body. The thermocouple groove includes a lateral bend; and a bore that extends from the lateral bend into a thickness of the tube-shaped body. Together the bore and the latera bend maintain the position of a sensing end of a thermocouple installed therein relative to the tube-shaped body.
Resin molded product and method for producing resin molded product
A resin molded product (10) includes a resin molded product main body (11), and a protrusion (12) integrally formed with the resin molded product main body (11) and protruding from the resin molded product main body (11). At injection molding of the resin molded product (10), molten resin flows through a portion (C-1) corresponding to the protrusion (12) in a cavity (C) defined by a pair of molds (20, 30). A concave portion (14) is formed on a rear side of the protrusion (12), and a bulging portion (12a) having a hollow bag shape is formed on a front side of the protrusion (12).
