INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLES AND MOLD APPARATUSES FOR FORMING SAME
An injection molded article includes: (a) an article first portion having internal threading extending helically about an article axis, the threading configured to be formed by a thread mold in a mold core; and (b) an article second portion spaced radially apart from the article first portion and connected to the article first portion by a connection portion. The article second portion has at least one ejection-assist rib configured to be formed by at least one rib mold feature in the mold core. The ejection-assist rib defines a helical slide surface extending helically about the article axis. During an initial unscrewing rotation of the molded article relative to the mold core, the rib mold feature of the mold core bears against the slide surface of the ejection-assist rib to urge the article second portion axially away from the mold core during ejection of the molded article from the mold core.
A MOLD AND METHOD FOR MOLDING A BODYOR CAP FOR A CONNECTOR
A mold for molding a body or cap for a connector. The mold comprises a mold body (1) and an axial core (2) which together define a mold cavity in the shape of the body or cap. The core has a sleeve (3) and an inner pin (4) each having complementary castellations (8, 10) which interdigitate in a first configuration. In the first configuration, the castellations (8, 10) are arranged such that respective recesses (11) are formed each bound by the proximal end of a first castellation (8) and the side walls of adjacent second castellations (10). Each recess has a shape to form a respective first portion of the body or cap. The sleeve (3) and inner pin (4) are axially movable to a second configuration in which the castellations (8, 10) are disengaged from one another. The inner pin (4) is rotatable to a third configuration in which the first castellations (8) can be axially withdrawn following a path occupied by the second castellations (10) in the first configuration.

Hook and Loop Fastener Connector
A hook-and-loop fastener connector having a plurality of hooks (7) arranged on a base plate (16). The hooks (7) exhibit a hook foot (8) and a hook head (9). The hook foot (8) and hook head (9) are arranged within one plane. The plane (10) and the base plate (16) are angled to each other at an angle (β) greater than 90°.
APPARATUS FOR MOLDING
An apparatus for molding a rotating member includes a main mold including a column part space configured to mold a column part therein, a plurality of blade spaces configured to mold a plurality of blades therein, and a plurality of split bodies disposed along a circumferential direction of the column part and configured to move along a radial direction of the column part. Each of the plurality of split bodies comprises a column part molding surface defining the column part space, and a plurality of blade molding surfaces defining the blade space. Column part molding surfaces of the plurality of the split bodies define the column part space together, and a first blade molding surface provided at one of the plurality of split bodies defines, together with a second blade molding surface provided at another one of the plurality of split bodies, one of the plurality of blade spaces.
RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A resin molded article manufacturing method comprises forming a cavity having a shape corresponding to a resin molded article by bringing a plurality of resin molding dies into contact with each other, and forming the resin molded article by injecting a resin directly from a resin ejection port into a resin injection gate and filling the cavity with the resin. The forming of the resin molded article includes filling the cavity with the resin while changing a flow of the resin that is headed from the resin injection gate directly toward the cavity by a resin flow changing section that is provided opposite the resin injection gate.
PET blow moudling machines
A blow moulding machine for blow moulding a container having an integrally formed handle; said container blow moulded from a previously injection moulded preform; said preform comprising a body portion and said integrally formed handle; said machine including a preform loading station at which said preform is oriented by a preform orienting apparatus.
Low-pressure molded vehicle headliner with bridge
A vehicle headliner includes a two-piece headliner body made up of first and second headliner pieces that are secured together in a mechanical joint. Each of the first and second headliner pieces is comprised of a molded polymer substrate having first and second sides and a fabric on the first side. The molded polymer substrate is partially impregnated into the fabric such that the fabric is fused to the first side. The first piece defines an opening for receipt of a console. There is at least one bridge that spans across the opening and has a molded-in attachment feature for securing the console.
