HALF NUT OPENING/CLOSING DEVICE
Provided is a half nut opening/closing device that makes it possible to easily secure engagement between a tie rod and a half nut even if the tie rod to be engaged is bent. The half nut opening/closing device according to the present invention includes a half nut including a half nut piece and a half nut piece that are moved between a closed position and an open position and engage with a tie rod at the closed position, and an alignment roller that is provided on one or both of the half nut piece and the half nut piece, and is configured to convert moving force, of that the half nut piece and the half nut piece move to the closed position, into upward force in a vertical direction to lift and align the tie rod.
Mold clamping apparatus
A mold clamping apparatus of the type including a mold opening/closing actuator and a mold clamping cylinder, wherein rails for guiding a movable platen are disposed on a base, and the mold clamping cylinder has a left leg and a right leg each disposed between one pair of left and right rails of the rails. The rails provided for guiding the movable platen is used also as a side guide for the mold clamping cylinder. This arrangement can obviate the need for a separate guide member.

In a method for controlling an injection molding machine that transmits driving force of a mold opening/closing servo motor to a movable platen via a ball screw to move the movable platen with respect to a stationary platen, and thereafter clamps molds by a mold clamping mechanism, other control is performed using a position A of the movable platen, the position A being detected by a position sensor at a time of continuous molding, and the position A of the movable platen is corrected.
PULL OR PUSH ROD OR LOCKING NUT FOR A MOLDING MACHINE
A pull or push rod for a molding machine having a groove. The groove is suitable for forming a positive-locking connection with a locking nut, by which positive-locking connection forces are transmittable between the locking nut and the pull or push rod. The groove has a groove cross-section, has at least two groove flanks, and has a groove base. The at least two groove flanks, viewed in the groove cross-section, each transition with at least one transition curvature into the groove base. The groove base in the groove cross-section is at least partially formed as a curvature, and the curvature of the groove base differs from the transition curvatures of the groove flanks.
PULL OR PUSH ROD OR A LOCKING NUT FOR A MOLDING MACHINE
A pull or push rod or locking nut for a molding machine has an undercut, and the undercut has an undercut cross-section, a side wall, and an undercut ramp. The side wall transitions via a first transition curvature into an undercut base, and the undercut base transitions via a second transition curvature into the undercut ramp. The undercut base, viewed in the undercut cross-section, is at least partially designed as a curvature, and the curvature of the undercut base differs from the first and/or the second transition curvature.
Injection molding machine
An injection molding machine with an injection system and a clamping system. The injection system may include a removable injection module defining a portion of the material flow path. The injection module may include all of parts that come in contact with the material between the material source and the mold. The injection module may include a valve arrangement movable between a fill position to load the injection module with material and an inject position to eject material from the injection module into the mold. The actuators for the injection module may be supported on the machine rather than the injection module. The clamping system may include a platen linear actuator to open and close the mold, and a hydraulic clamping system to apply clamping force to the closed mold. The hydraulic clamping system may include a free-float valve manifold assembly that selectively places the hydraulic cylinders in free-float mode.
Injection molding machine
An injection molding machine with an injection system and a clamping system. The injection system may include a removable injection module defining a portion of the material flow path. An injection molding machine including a mold clamping device for clamping a mold comprising a fixed mold and a movable mold by a predetermined mold clamping force; an injection device for injecting and filling a resin into the mold by a predetermined injection pressure, wherein the mold clamping device enables natural compression of the resin at least as the resin inside the mold solidifies; and a molding machine controller at least including a specific molding condition setting function for setting a specific molding condition by obtaining a parting opening amount which becomes a predetermined gap between the movable mold and the fixed mold during injection filling, a molding injection pressure which becomes an injection pressure capable of molding a good product and a molding clamping force which becomes a mold clamping force capable of molding a good product; a fast injection condition setting function for setting, as a fast injection condition, a fast injection speed from the start of injection, the fast injection speed being higher than the injection speed set by the specific molding condition, and a fast injection section for continuing the fast injection speed; and a molding control function for mold-clamping the mold clamping device by the molding clamping force, setting the molding injection pressure to a limit pressure, injecting and filling the mold by the fast injection condition from the start of injection, and filling the mold by the specific molding condition by the end of the fast injection section.
