Reagent bottle with aspiration pipe
An embodiment of a reagent container includes a bottle with a pipe to reduce the effects of reagent sloshing. The bottle has an elongated base and an opposed cover connected by side walls and an end wall. A flat platform surrounded by a raised rim lies in the base opposite an opening in the cover. A ribbed pipe frictionally fits within the bottle opening and may attach to the anchor region leaving vent passages around the pipe. The pipe includes an aperture adjacent to the anchor region and oriented toward the end wall so that sloshed fluid has only a small effect on the level of reagent in the pipe during transfers. A modified blow molding process produces the anchor region by extending a pin a predetermined distance into a mold while the molded material is still plastic.
Method of forming a headset assembly
A method of forming a headrest assembly includes providing a first mold that encloses a first cavity in a closed condition. A support is positioned in the first cavity. A first material is blow molded into the first cavity and around a portion of the support to form a core part. The core part and support are removed from the first mold. A second mold encloses a second cavity in a closed condition. The core part and the support are placed into the second mold in an open condition. A fluid is injected into the core part through the support. The second mold is converted to the closed condition. A second material is injection molded into the second cavity and around the core part to form an outer shell around the core part. A fluid is withdrawn from the core part through the support.
Method for the production of a bladder accumulator and bladder accumulator produced according to said method
A method for the production of a bladder accumulator (10) that separates two media chambers (16, 18) from one another in a storage housing (12) by a bladder body (14). The following production steps include extruding a plastic tube over the bladder body (14), shaping the plastic tube with the integrated bladder body (14) in a molding tool that corresponds to a predeterminable plastic core container (20), and winding at least one plastic fiber from the outside on the plastic core container (20) for the purpose of creating the storage housing (12).
Filler tube for a fuel tank
A filler tube for a fuel tank, having a tube portion made of plastic material and a tubular adapter, which is connected to the tube portion, for coupling the filler tube to the fuel tank, wherein a lateral surface of the adapter is integrally bonded, in particular welded, to a lateral surface of the tube portion, wherein the adapter and the tube portion overlap in the region of the integrally bonded connection.
Container with molded bag on valve assembly
The present disclosure provides a container and a process for producing the container. In an embodiment, the process includes placing a sleeve bag on valve assembly (SBoV) in a blow mold apparatus. The blow mold apparatus has two opposing and movable molds. The SBoV has a valve seat. The process includes extending a parison of flowable polymeric material around the SBoV and between the opposing molds. The process includes moving the opposing molds to a closed position and pressing an upstream portion of the parison against the valve seat. The process includes blow molding a downstream portion of the parison into a container-shape within the closed mold. The process includes forming a container with the valve seat melt bonded to a neck portion of the container.
Welding method and welding structure
Provided is a method for welding an accessory part made of a thermoplastic resin to a parison which is being molded into a tank body. The method includes steps of: forming the accessory part to include an annular portion having an annular shape and a plurality of projections each projecting from the annual portion in a radially inward direction; and pressing the annular portion and the projections into the parison to be welded to the parison. Also provided is a welding structure of a tank body made of a resin and an accessory part made of a thermoplastic resin and welded to a wall surface of the tank body. The accessory part includes: an annular portion having an annular shape; and a plurality of projections each projecting from the annular portion in a radially inward direction. The annular portion and the plurality of projections are welded to the wall surface.
Closure system for containers and related container and process for the realization
A closure system and method of forming containers comprising a closing element. The closing element is integrally sealable to the container at one of the openings to be closed, and a preferential separation zone between the container and the closing element, the closure system comprising a first guiding and/or coupling portion for guiding and controlling the movement of the closing element from a first blocking position, wherein the closing element is integral to the container, to a second unblocking position, wherein the closing element is separated from the container via the preferential separation zone. The closure system further includes a first thread on the insert and a second thread formed within the closing element.
FILLER TUBE FOR A FUEL TANK
The invention relates to a filler tube for a fuel tank, having a tube portion made of plastic material and a tubular adapter, which is connected to the tube portion, for coupling the filler tube to the fuel tank, wherein a lateral surface of the adapter is integrally bonded, in particular welded, to a lateral surface of the tube portion, wherein the adapter and the tube portion overlap in the region of the integrally bonded connection.
Method for producing a tube arrangement for the transport of tempering medium
A method for producing a tube arrangement (1) for the transport of tempering medium, in which base body sections (6, 7) are provided, which have congruently configured separating surfaces (8), wherein at least one functional element (3) on at least one base body section (6, 7) is arranged in such a way that it can be in contact with the tempering medium, whereafter the base body sections (6, 7) are joined along the separating surface (8) and bonded to one another to form the tube arrangement (1).
Fuel tank
A fuel tank has a built-in component with a head portion, a neck portion, and a shoulder portion, and has the built-in component anchored to a tank body with a parison wrapped around the neck portion during molding. The fuel tank includes a deformation prevention structure configured to prevent a wrapping parison portion wrapped around the neck portion from being deformed due to pressure acting on the tank body. The deformation prevention structure is configured to include one of a stepped portion provided in the shoulder portion, a convex portion, and a recess.
