Method of making an inline housing for a part enclosed in a tube
A method is disclosed for making a duct assembly including an internal component part such as a silencer is disclosed. The duct assembly may be made in a blow-molding operation in which first and second duct parts are formed from a single parison as a combined part that is then split apart to receive a component part in a housing and subsequently closed by a closure part. Alternatively, the first and second housing parts may be separately formed and a component part may be inserted into a housing defined by one or both of the first and second duct parts. The first and second duct parts may be joined and sealed by injection molding a ring over telescopically assembled ends of the first and second parts.
PLASTIC CONTAINER HAVING A TOP OPENING AND A BASE OPENING CLOSED EACH BY A FLEXIBLE LID
The container is provided with a one-piece hollow body made of plastic material and a bottom portion. The body is tubular and includes a side wall extending around a longitudinal axis from an annular base to a top provided with a wide top opening. A thin flexible lid covers and seals the top opening. The base is provided with a base flange, of annular shape, that continuously surrounds a wide base opening of the hollow body. A flexible base lid made of foil material is in annular sealing contact with the flange to close the base opening and define all or part of the bottom portion. Such bottom portion and the side wall delimit an interior volume suitable for receiving a product. The body is typically a blow molded piece.
Plastic container with threaded neck finish
A plastic container includes a neck portion, a sidewall portion, and a base portion. The neck portion includes a plurality of threads, which may be configured to retain and/or secure a cap or lid. In embodiments, the threads may be blown and/or the neck portion may include a neck rib provided vertically above the threads.

A method for producing pipettes (110, 111, 112) is provided. The method includes extruding a polymer melt into at least one mold segment of a mold assembly (120) having a plurality of mold segments to form a parison (50) or preform, wherein the plurality of mold segments (122) comprise cavities (42) that are shaped to form pipettes when in communication with the cavity of an adjacent mold segment; forming at least two pipettes in the shape of the mold segment cavities by blow-molding or vacuum forming the parison or preform, each of the at least two pipettes having proximal and distal ends; heating the pipettes to form a locally heated portion of the at least two pipettes; and separating the pipettes by cutting the locally heated portion of the at least two pipettes with separation feature (64, 66, 194, 196).
BLOW MOLDED PLASTIC CONTAINER WITH INTEGRATED SPOUT
Method of making a blow-molded plastic container comprises forming a hollow blow-molded article comprising a main body portion defining an interior space, a finish portion defining a mouth in fluid communication with the interior space, the finish portion having a substantially cylindrical circumferential wall of generally uniform thickness surrounding the mouth, the circumferential wall having an upper edge with a perimeter flange and a pair of tabs projecting radially inward from the circumferential wall, the pair of tabs defining a spout therebetween, and a moil portion extending from the perimeter flange in a direction opposite the main body portion. Method further includes inflating the plastic material within the mold cavity to form the hollow blow-molded article and removing the moil portion from the perimeter flange. Blow-molded plastic container having a finish portion with directional pour spout and blow-molded article comprising container and moil portion also disclosed.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a molded article and a manufacturing method for a molded article by which it is possible to mitigate deformation of an opening. The present invention provides a molded article comprising a cylindrical base and an opening provided in the base, wherein a rib is provided adjacent to the opening. The present invention provides a manufacturing method for a molded article that includes a molded body formation step for forming a molded body having a cylindrical portion provided at one end thereof with an occlusion by molding a melted resin, and a cut-off step for cutting off the occlusion by cutting the cylindrical portion, wherein in the cut-off step, the cutting is performed in a state where a side wall of the cylindrical portion is warped in-plane by an external force.

A process for producing a tube, comprising forming a blow-molded article and removing a bottom portion of said blow-molded article. The blow-molded article includes (i) a head portion, and (ii) a tube portion integral with said head portion. The tube may be decorated, such as with a label.

Method of blow moulding a container from a hollow, elongated parison of a thermoplastic material, wherein the method comprises: arranging the parison in a closed moulding equipment comprising a moulding cavity and at least one aperture, wherein the at least one aperture provides an opening into the moulding cavity from outside the closed moulding equipment, wherein the circumference of the at least one aperture is larger than or equal to a circumference of the parison, such that a first section of the parison is arranged inside the moulding cavity, a second section of the parison is arranged within the at least one aperture and a third section of the parison is arranged outside the closed moulding equipment, closing a shutter system around the third section of the parison, thereby pinching the parison and providing a closed volume inside the first and second sections of the parison, arranging a blow conduit in fluid communication with the closed volume inside the second section of the parison, blowing pressurised gas from the blow conduit into the first and the second section of the parison, thereby forming first and second blow moulded sections, wherein the first blow moulded section is the container, andseparating the second blow moulded section from the first blow moulded section, thereby providing an opening in the container.
Sealed Connection For Fluid Conduit Parts
An assembly of fluid conduit parts is disclosed along with a method of assembling, a method of manufacturing and an apparatus for manufacturing the one of the fluid conduit parts. The assembly includes a blow molded part having a first portion. A second part includes a tapered section and a sealing flange extends from the first portion towards a central axis of the first portion at a distance, an end of the sealing flange defines an opening. The second part inserts into the opening and at least part of the tapered section is of a size larger than the opening. The sealing flange flexes upon insertion of the second part into the opening to define a contact surface between the tapered section and the sealing flange that extends around a perimeter of the tapered section where the sealing flange contacts the tapered section.
