REUSABLE BOTTLE MADE OF PLASTIC
A reusable bottle (1) made of plastic, in particular for carbonated soft drinks, defining a longitudinal axis (X), comprising an upper portion (2) defining an opening (20) extending about said longitudinal axis (X); a side wall (3); a lower portion (4), defining a closed bottom (40); wherein the lower portion (4) comprises: a heel (5), in particular an annular heel; a standing ring (6), extending from the heel (5) and defining the lower standing surface of the bottle (1); a central dome (7), in particular concave outwards; wherein said heel (5) is concave towards the outside of the bottle (1); and wherein the projection (H) of the heel (5) on said longitudinal axis (X) has a length from 7 to 14% with respect to the total height (H1) of the bottle (1) along the longitudinal axis (X).
BLOWING MOLD FOR MOLDING A CONTAINER
A blowing mold (1) for molding a container (90), in particular a plastic bottle, by blow molding a preform (9) having a neck (93) and a neck ring (92), the blowing mold (1) being adapted to be opened and closed, and comprising at least two parts (25, 26) which, when the blowing mold (1) is closed, form a support (2), or striker plate, adapted to abut against the neck ring (92) of the preform (9); wherein a surface (20) of said support (2) is provided with one or more protrusions (21) adapted to come into contact with the portion (931) of the preform (9) below the neck ring (92), in particular to prevent a rotation thereof.
Process for making a container of a given shape from sheet material
Process for obtaining a container of a given shape starting from sheet material, by providing a sheet; providing a mould having a forming cavity, which defines a reference axis (R) and has a shape corresponding to the given shape of the container; positioning the sheet over forming cavity; providing a forming device having forming structure arranged on a side of the sheet opposite the forming cavity, and operating the structure for inserting the sheet into the forming cavity to deform it until a container blank is obtained having a shape approximating the given shape; and blowing a gas under pressure into the forming cavity to deform the container blank until the container with the given shape is obtained.
CONTAINER HAVING AN UNDULATING BASE, AND MOLD BASE FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided is a container made from plastic and provided with a body and a base extending from a lower end of the body. The base includes at least one peripheral heel defining a seat and an arch that extends from a central zone to the heel, the heel rising up a connecting wall connecting with the wall of the body of the container. The base has a plurality of radial undulations extending from at least the central zone to the vicinity of the seat, extending in the arch. The undulations have a concave face and a convex face facing outward, the depth between the peak of a convexity and the trough of a concavity, of said undulations increasing from the central zone to the vicinity of the seat. Also described is a mold base for manufacturing such a container.
Method of processing a plastic container to increase internal pressure
A method of processing a plastic container to increase internal pressure including blow-molding the container to comprise an invertible panel in the base and a standing ring, hot filling and sealing the container, feeding the container into an apparatus with a holding device and forcing a volume reduction and pressure increase into the container, and stacking the containers in bulk pallets on top of one another to increase top load and create a positive pressure within the distribution load of containers.
PRESSURISED CONTAINER WITH DEFORMABLE SHOULDER AND DEFORMABLE BOTTOM
Described are containers and moulds for producing containers. The container is obtained by blow moulding or stretch blow moulding from a blank made of plastic material. The container includes a body, a shoulder extending from the shoulder, and a bottom at the lower end of said body. The shoulder is articulated between an extended position and a retracted position. The bottom is articulated to the lower end of the body between an extended position and a retracted position. When the container is filled and closed, the movement of the shoulder from the extended position into the retracted position causes the bottom to move from the retracted position into the extended position and vice-versa.
Three-piece mold device, system, and method for manufacturing of connectable beverage bottle
A system for molding includes: right and left upper mold portions; and a lower mold portion, such that the right and left upper mold portions are positionable side by side and the lower mold portion is positionable between lower ends of the right and left upper mold portions to form an entire molding cavity for blow molding a connectable beverage bottle, such that the lower mold portion is vertically downward removable and the right and left upper mold portions are laterally removable after blow molding of the connectable beverage bottle. Also disclosed is a method of molding, including: preparing blow pin, assembling mold components, performing blow molding, removing blow pin, disassembling mold components, and extracting the connectable beverage bottle.
