Mower deck discharge chute with drive belt tunnel
A mower deck discharge chute includes a flexible member attached with a hinge to a multi-blade mower deck, and a drive belt tunnel through the flexible member that an attachment drive belt passes through when the flexible member is pivoted up to a generally vertical position. The attachment drive belt may be on a single plane to engage a drive sheave on the multi-blade mower deck, a driven sheave on the belt driven attachment, and an idler.
Lawn mower with improved cutting structure
In certain example embodiments of this invention, the lawn mower includes one or more of: (a) cutter deck baffle teeth for improving cutting performance; (b) a trim divider edge portion of the cutter deck for improving cutting performance; (c) a trim vacuum structure portion of the cutter deck for improving cutting performance; and/or (d) a center vacuum structure portion of the cutter deck for improving cutting performance.

Vegetation cutter and mulcher
The present invention is a device for cutting and mulching vegetation into consistently small uniform pieces by using a number of cutter cords that rotate in a circular plane of rotation with decreasing diameters as the position of the cutting wire is further from the power means. This design causes the grass to be sequentially cut into small confetti like pieces as the mowing machine moves forward.
Walk power mower having forward and reverse traction drive
A walk power mower has a traction drive system that includes a front transmission powering a pair of front wheels and a rear transmission powering a pair of rear wheels. A first one of the transmissions provides forward motion of the mower when it is active and a second one of the transmissions provides rearward motion of the mower when it is active. A slidable handle grip on the handle having a cross bar long enough to be gripped by both hands of the user activates the first one of the transmission when it is slid downwardly on a handle out of a neutral position thereof. The slidable handle grip activates the second one of the transmissions when it is slid upwardly on the handle out of the neutral position.
Attachment device for use with a carrier vehicle, and method of operating the attachment device
An attachment device, in particular a milling machine and/or a mulcher, for use with a carrier vehicle, includes one or more functional units which supplies energy by way of the carrier vehicle, in order to achieve rapid and/or simple initial start-up. The attachment device has one or more control units which, in at least one operating state, automatically controls and/or regulates one or more limit values of an operating parameter of the functional unit.
AGRICULTURAL WORKING DEVICE
An agricultural working device, such as a mulcher, is improved with a working rotor which is driven by a drive shaft and a cutting rail with a cutting edge which can be directed towards the working rotor. Sensors for acquiring parameters of working rotor and/or cutting rail are provided. An electronic control apparatus is provided with at least one encoder to set the cutting rail. A method for setting the position of a cutting rail of a working device, such as a mulcher, relative to a working rotor, is configured in such a way that the rotational speed of a drive shaft and the rotational speed of the working rotor are measured and compared with one another. When a ratio of the rotational speeds differs by a predefined threshold, a change in the position of the cutting rail is brought about.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY LAWN MAINTENANCE TOOL AND HIGH-EFFICIENCY CUTTING BLADE
A high-efficiency blade for a lawn maintenance tool includes a central axis and a mounting portion located on the central axis. The high-efficiency blade includes a cutting blade and a cutting blade sharpened leading edge. A cleaning blade is vertically offset from the cutting blade and is configured to mulch the associated clippings from vegetation and reduce an associated accumulation of clippings on an underside of an associated mower deck. The lawn maintenance tool can also include a deck having a separation distance between the cleaning blade and an underside of the deck. The deck can include an elevation change to vary the separation distance. The deck and high-efficiency blade can also include a forward or rearward tilt.
Mulching lawn mower blade
A mulching lawn mower blade preferably includes a base cutting blade and at least one mulching cutting blade. The base cutting blade includes a first cutting edge formed on one edge, extending inward from a first end thereof and a second cutting edge formed on an opposing edge, extending inward from a second end thereof. A middle section of the base cutting blade may have any suitable hole (s) or opening pattern (s) to accommodate attachment to a drive shaft of a lawn mower. The at least one mulching cutting blade may be a single mulching cutting blade, which is bolted to the drive shaft, or two separate mulching cutting blades, which are attached to the base cutting blade with any suitable method, such as welding. A first mulching cutting blade includes a first mulching cutting edge and a second mulching cutting blade includes a second mulching cutting edge.
Multi-configurable mower deck
A multi-configurable mower deck for use with a lawnmower, the mower deck including a top surface, a front leading edge, at least one side wall extending from the top surface, and at least one partial rear wall extending from the top surface. The mower deck includes both a side-discharge opening formed on one side of the mower deck and a rear-discharge opening formed through the at least one partial rear wall. Additionally, the mower deck may include a selectively removable secondary front baffle configured to block the flow of clippings through the side-discharge opening and direct the flow of clippings toward the rear-discharge opening. The mower deck may also include at least one selectively removable rear baffle, wherein the at least one selectively removable rear baffle is configured to at least partially block the rear-discharge opening.
