An arrangement supplies a semi-finished product to a thermoforming machine as a starting material. The arrangement has a deposition device, on which cuttings of the starting material can be provided in each case, and a loading device having a table device and a movable loading unit. The loading unit has a first section and a second section that are each arranged to receive one of the cuttings at the section. At least one cutting can be deposited on the table device. The first section receives one of the cuttings from the deposition device and the second section receives another of the cuttings from the table device, and then the first section for depositing one cutting received from the deposition device on the table device and the second section for depositing the other cutting received from the table device can be positioned in a working region of the thermoforming machine.

The invention relates to an arrangement for supplying a semi-finished product to a thermoforming machine as a starting material for thermoforming. The arrangement has a deposition device on which cuttings of the starting material which are to be processed in succession can be provided, in each case in an at least partially automated manner, and a movable loading unit. This loading unit is set up for at least one of the cuttings to be received on the loading unit. The loading unit can be positioned to receive the cutting from the deposition device, and the loading unit can subsequently be positioned to deposit the cutting received from the deposition device in a working region of the thermoforming machine. The invention further relates to a thermoforming arrangement and to a method for supplying a semi-finished product to a thermoforming machine as a starting material for thermoforming.

The upstream conveyor is configured to deliver a series of shots of formed articles in a thermoformed sheet from an exit end of an article forming station. The sheet cutter is carried by the at least one frame provided proximate the conveyor downstream of the article forming station and is configured to cut a leading edge of the formed articles and sheet sufficiently formed to index within dies of an article trim press. The downstream sheet manipulator is carried by the at least one frame and is configured to transport the leading edge and the sufficiently formed articles and sheet for delivery in sequential shots from downstream an article forming station to upstream an article trim station. A method is also provided.

The edge zone of the hot flat laminate element lies on the pallet such that the laminate piece cannot be clamped in a first laminate direction but rather can be slide on the pallet in this direction. Two non-flat rigid contours which are identical or largely identical act on two opposing parallel laminate edge sections uniaxially and perpendicularly to the laminate plane and only in the first laminate direction, i.e. monodirectionally, and shape the entire heated laminate element into a monodirectionally molded blank.
