An object of the present invention is to propose a device capable of automatically insetting a tube into a bending die instead of doing so manually, even if the shape of a product exceeds two meters in length, the device comprising a bending die having a tube insetting portion, and a traveling body that includes a guide mechanism guiding a tube to an upper portion of the tube insetting portion, an auxiliary guide mechanism keeping the tube in the upper portion of the tube insetting portion, a insetting roll insetting the tube in the tube insetting portion, a pair of drive wheels rolling along lower rails, and a drive mechanism, wherein the traveling body moves and insets a tube into the bending die while having the auxiliary guide mechanism and the drive wheels grip the bending die.
BENDING DIE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BENDING DIE
An object of the present invention is to propose a bending die capable of creating a product without causing buckling, even if the shape of the product is long or bent freely in three-dimensional space. The bending die according to the present invention is a bending die having a smooth shape formed by virtually and continuously moving, in three-dimensional space, a profile including a substantially circular-shaped first closed curve having a recess portion, wherein an opening width b of the recess portion is shorter than a groove width a of the recess portion, a tube insetting portion is formed by the recess portion, and the smooth shape is realized and created in real space using a three-dimensional printing technique.
Systems and methods for liner braiding and resin application
A method of selecting a braid configuration for a braided liner. The method includes calculating a size ratio based on the smallest first diameter and the largest second diameter of the liner and selecting a braid material having a tensile strength. The method further includes calculating a strength ratio based on the tensile strength of the braid material and a selected target strength threshold for the braided liner and determining an optimal braid angle for the smallest first diameter portions of the liner based on the calculated size ratio.
BENDING DIE
An object of the present invention is to provide a bending die that has a simple configuration and is capable of bending a rod-shaped body in a three-dimensional XYZ direction quickly and reliably. The bending die includes XY-plane forming dies that are to be clamped in an X direction to bend the rod-shaped body in an XY plane, and Z-direction forming dies that are to be clamped in a Z direction to bend the rod-shaped body in the Z direction, wherein when both the XY-plane forming dies and the Z-direction forming dies are clamped, a cavity that forms the rod-shaped body bent in the three-dimensional XYZ direction is defined therebetween.

A polymer stall divider for a barn will permit lateral flexing when a cow presses against the stall divider while the stall divider asserts a lateral force against the cow to urge the cow to move into a proper position between adjacent stall dividers without causing injury to the cow. The polymer stall divider can be formed of a polymer material clad onto the outer surface of a steel structural member and then bent into shape to form the desired configuration. The divider can be formed in sections with adjacent sections being connected by an internal connector formed of selected materials to provide the desired flexibility and durability characteristics. A mounting bracket formed of a pair of opposing clam shells can be utilized to secure the stall divider to the frame of the barn, thus providing an easily installed divider structure.

An example method includes inserting heat shrink tubing into a tube, curving the tube, and deforming the heat shrink tubing, inside of the tube, to have a curved shape along a length of the heat shrink tubing where a first length of the heat shrink tubing along an outer radius of the curved shape is longer than a second length of the heat shrink tubing along an inner radius of the curved shape.
Bending Method and Bending Device for Bending a Composite Bar
A bending method and a bending device, wherein a composite bar comprising a bundle of reinforcing fibres embedded in a polymer matrix is bent at a bending point. To make it bendable, the composite bar is heated locally at the bending point using an ultrasonic device with a sonotrode. After the bending point has been heated, an infeeding movement between the composite bar and the sonotrode is used to deform a region of the composite bar at the bending point to create a deformed portion of which the outer dimensions are different from the outer dimensions of the bar portions of the composite bar adjoining the bending point. The two bar portions are then moved or angled away in relation to one another, and so the composite bar is curved at the bending point. Once the desired bending has been achieved, the composite bar is cured at the bending point.
