BEADED PANELS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING BEADED PANELS
A beaded panel includes a base panel and a beaded panel doubler made of a first fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite. The beaded panel doubler is joined to the base panel to supplement a stiffness of the base panel.
Manufacturing method of resin frame
A resin frame includes frame members combined into a frame shape that includes a corner portion, and a joint portion joining a pair of the frame members which are adjacent to each other at the corner portion. The joint portion includes an entire-surface welded portion, in which end surfaces of the pair of the frame members are welded to each other over an entire surface in a thickness direction of a plate portion of the frame members, and a partial welded portion, in which the end surfaces of the pair of the frame members are welded to each other on one side of the entire surface in the thickness direction while another side of the entire surface in the thickness direction is not welded. The entire-surface welded portion and the partial welded portion are present at different portions on an outer periphery of the joint portion.

Heat seal bar sensorless temperature sensing and control
A sensorless temperature sensing and control system and method uses electrical voltage and current feedback signals to monitor and control the temperature of heating elements used in a heat sealing process wherein sensors are not physically connected to a heat seal bar during the heat sealing process. After calibration of a heat seal bar using a sensor, voltage and current feedback signals are processed by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to calculate the real-time electrical resistance of each heating element. Data and electrical resistance is used to calculate real-time temperature of the heat seal bar during heating.

Mobile waterstop welding apparatus
A mobile waterstop welding apparatus includes a first and second support member for supporting a first and second waterstop section, respectively. The second support member is movable between a loading configuration, a heating configuration, and a welding configuration. In the loading configuration, the first and second support members are spaced apart so that the first and second waterstop sections may be loaded onto the first and second support members. In the heating configuration, the first and second support members are spaced apart so that a heating iron may be placed in-between respective welding ends of the first and second waterstop sections. In the welding configuration, the first and second support members are moved towards each other so as to weld the first and second waterstop sections together at their respective welding ends. During the welding process, a spring assembly may urge the first and second support members towards each other.

WELDING ASSESSMENT DURING WELDING PROCESS
A method and a system including a welding device, an inspection device having an inspection head having two sensors, a controller, and a memory for assessing a butt weld of plastic pipes or fittings in a welding device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CURING MATERIALS WITHIN CAVITIES
Provided are methods for heat curing of various materials, such as heat curable materials or more specifically potting compounds, which are disposed within cavities with limited access to these materials. Also provided are curing for executing such methods. In some embodiments, a heat curable material disposed within a cavity may be heated by a heating rod protruding into the cavity or through the cavity. The heating rod is thermally coupled to the heat curable material and is used to transfer heat to the heat curable material. For example, the heating rod may include a resistive heating element. The heating element may be positioned in such a way that the heat curable material is selectively heated within the cavity without significant heating of surrounding components. In some embodiments, the heating rod may be also used to compress the part containing the cavity or a stack including this part.
