ULTRASONIC SEALING ANVIL AND ULTRASONIC SEALING APPARATUS
A ultrasonic sealing anvil has a strip-shaped pressing surface that faces a vibration applying surface of an end of a horn and extends along a welding position of sheet members, the pressing surface having a step and a pair of extending surfaces, the step having a concave shape formed at a position at which the step abuts a thick layer portion with a relatively large thickness of the laminated sheet members and having inclined surfaces on both left and right sides, the pair of extending surfaces being continuous to the respective inclined surfaces on the both left and right sides of the step and extending leftward and rightward along the welding position with the step interposed therebetween, wherein the inclined surface has one or more grooves that extend in a width direction of the pressing surface.
Sonic label welding unit and method of manufacturing a multi-layered care label
A sonic label welding device for welding multiple labels together using ultrasonic welding is disclosed. The sonic label welding device comprises a digital controls main menu screen which includes touch screen buttons that are utilized to go to specific screens to program the device to perform in a certain manner. For example, a user can press the cut to length button if wanting to cut a label to a specific length, or the label weld count button to specify the number of labels being sonically welded. Further, the sonic label welding device comprises a head for allowing multiple labels to be assembled under pressure and an anvil for directing the high frequency vibrations. A method of manufacturing a multi-layer care label is also disclosed.
PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING OBJECTS
There is provided a system for packaging objects on a conveyor using a tubular plastic film. More specifically, the invention provides a system, wherein the tubular plastic film can be wrapped around the objects in a horizontal manner.
Anvil and ultrasonic sealing apparatus
An anvil is provided in an ultrasonic sealing machine, in which vibration applying surfaces of a pair of horns and an abutment surface on an end face of the anvil cooperate with each other to bond a laminate. The abutment surface includes left and right welding surfaces which are disposed in the extending direction of the vibration applying surface and protrude toward the horns to face two vibration applying surfaces. The left and right welding surfaces each have an area per unit length in the extending direction, which continuously or step-wisely increases with an increase in distance from a center of the seal area, which is a region where the two vibration applying surfaces are adjacent to each other.
HERMETIC SEALING DEVICE FOR PACKAGES CONTAINING FOOD PRODUCTS
The sealing device, forming the object of this invention, for packages containing food products, includes a unit for gripping and/or feeding a piece of thin flexible material forming a film used to cover and at least partly seal the food product; a sealing element which includes a rheostat having an annular body and two terminals extending from the annular body and connectable to a voltage generator capable of generating and maintaining an electrical potential difference at the ends of the two terminals in such a way as to cause to flow along the rheostat an electric current capable of heating the annular body to a predetermined sealing temperature. Each terminal has at the point of its connection to the annular body of the rheostat a cross section whose surface area is the smallest compared to the cross sections at all other points of the terminal.
ANVIL FOR TRANSVERSALLY SEALING A TUBE OF PACKAGING MATERIAL AND SEALING JAW HAVING AN ANVIL
An anvil for transversally sealing a tube having a longitudinal seam portion can include a first elongate contact surface and a second elongate contact surface. In some embodiments, the first elongate contact surface includes a first groove and the second elongate contact surface includes a second groove, each one of the first groove and the second groove being adapted to receive, in use, a respective section of the longitudinal seam portion of the tube. The first elongate contact surface can include a first seam interaction portion positioned within the first groove and having a first surface profile. The second elongate contact surface can include a second seam interaction portion positioned within the second groove and having a second surface profile. In some embodiments, the first surface profile differs from the second surface profile.
Two different process continued performance type product assembly device and method for manufacturing bumper skid plate using the same
A two different process continued performance type product assembly device may include a punching jig having a punch and configured to ascend and descend, a punching tool located on a lower portion of the punching jig and having a punching die that is located below the punch during a punching work, a fusion tool located on the lower portion of the punching jig and having a fusion horn that is located below the punch during a fusion work, and a tool exchange cylinder configured to push the punching die so that the fusion horn secedes from a position below the punch during the punching work and to pull the punching die so that the fusion horn comes into the position below the punch during the fusion work.
INDUCTION SEALING DEVICE
A disclosed induction sealing device (100) for induction welding of a packaging material comprises an inductor coil (101) configured to induce an alternating current in a metal foil of the packaging material for inductive heating thereof, and a magnetic insert (102) encapsulating the inductor coil (101) apart from an outer portion (103) thereof to be arranged towards the packaging material to be sealed. The magnetic insert (102) is configured to interact with the packaging material to be sealed via at least one interactive surface (104). The induction sealing device (100) comprises a connection unit (105). The connection unit (105) comprises a parallel connection (106) to the inductor coil (101) and is configured for connection to an AC power source. SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPIN WELDING FITTINGS TO MAPLE SAP LINES
A maple sap line system and method for spin welding provides secure, unobstructed lines for collecting sap by creating a hermetically sealed connection between a lateral line and a mainline. A fitting connects the mainline to the lateral line. The fitting is spin welded to the mainline at a contact interface. The fitting comprises a protruding member that easily melts to create the frictional weld. The fitting has an elongated body comprising barbs that receive the lateral line. The fitting has a channel that enables fluid communication between the mainline and the lateral line. The flanges in the fitting register with a chuck to rotate the fitting against the main line at a high rpm. Molten debris formed in the channel is dislodged by drilling with a collared drill. The drilling provides fluid communication and creates a smooth inner surface in the mainline, and cuts off flanges from the fitting.
