Upper die for fastening button
A button-fastening upper die includes a die body, a button-holding member and a cylindrical elastic member arranged between the die body and the button-holding member. By providing the elastic member with an annular recess recessed radially outward from the inner surface e.g. at the middle of the surface, the elastic member is sectioned into a thin-walled section located radially outward from the recess and two or more thick-walled sections remaining above and below the recess and the thin-walled section.
Thermoplastic Shell Assembly Formed Integrally by Embedding and Sticking and Method for Manufacturing the Shell Assembly
A method is used for manufacturing a shell assembly which includes a metallic shell, a plastic inner layer, and at least one plastic ornamental piece. The at least one plastic ornamental piece and the plastic inner layer are embedded into and stuck to the metallic shell, and are combined together, so that the metallic shell, the plastic inner layer and the at least one plastic ornamental piece are combined integrally.
CELL CULTURE DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A cell culture device comprises a cell culture membrane and a substrate fixed to the cell culture membrane. The cell culture membrane is made from a thermosetting resin and has a plurality of pores that are open to at least one surface including a surface on a side that is in contact with the substrate. The substrate is made from a thermoplastic resin. In a contact region between the cell culture membrane and the substrate, part of the substrate is extended to form bulges in the pores of the cell culture membrane that are open in the contact region. This configuration suppresses reduction of the strength of the cell culture membrane and reduction of the flatness of the cell culture membrane (membrane accuracy) in the cell culture device in which the cell culture membrane and the substrate are fixed to each other.
Container for food products and method for manufacturing such container
A container for food products is defined by a cup-shaped basket, which is made of a first polymeric material, and is provided with a gripping handle connected to the basket in rotary manner by means of two coupling elements, which are made of a second polymeric material, and are welded to the basket itself.
PASSENGER VEHICLE COMPONENTS WITH PERFORATED FILM CONSTRUCTION
A method for manufacturing a microbe-resistant structure can include providing a structural core; providing a binding compound; and providing an anti-microbial film. The anti-microbial film can have a first surface and a second surface on opposite sides of the film. The first surface can include a surface treatment that limits a transmission of microbes, and the second surface can include a plurality of perforations. The method can further include forming a charge arranged such that the second surface of the film is facing toward the structural core and the first surface is facing away from the structural core. Applying heat and pressure to the charge can cause the binding compound to flow to substantially fill the plurality of perforations.
