Multi-material assembly and methods of making there of
A multi-material assembly is provided, as well as methods of making a multi-material assembly. The multi-material assembly includes a first coated structural component and a second structural component. The first coated structural component includes a first uncoated portion, and an adhesive is positioned between the second structural component and the first uncoated portion that secures the first coated structural component to the second structural component.
WELDING STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTION OF TWO OBJECTS
A welding structure includes a first object and a second object connected to each other. The first object includes a first surface, a second surface, a first bonding surface, a welding portion and a second bonding surface. The first bonding surface is connected to one side of the second surface away from the first surface. The welding portion is disposed on a surface perpendicular and connected to the first bonding surface. One side of the second bonding surface is connected to the welding portion. The second object includes a third surface, a fourth surface, a third bonding surface and a fourth bonding surface. The third bonding surface is corresponding to the first bonding surface and connected to one side of the fourth surface away from the third surface. The fourth bonding surface is corresponding to the welding portion and the second bonding surface.
Bonding objects together
A method of bonding a first object to a second object, including the steps of: providing a profile body having a first profile body portion; providing the first object, wherein the first object has thermoplastic material; providing the second object, wherein the profile body is separate from and attachable to the second object or wherein the second object includes the profile body; embedding the profile body in the first object such that the first profile body portion is within the thermoplastic material of the first object. Embedding the profile body in the first object is caused by mechanical energy impinging on the first object and/or on the second object while the first object and the second object are pressed against each other.
PIPING SYSTEM FOR AIR CONDITIONER
A piping system for an air conditioner that includes a refrigerant pipe that is formed of a plastic material and has a multi-layered pipe structure including an outer layer and an inner layer. The piping system provides a fluid flow between parts constituting the air conditioner system. A first flange formed of the plastic material and providing a connection between the refrigerant pipe and components constituting the air conditioner system. A second flange formed of the plastic material and connected to a charging valve for injecting a refrigerant into the refrigerant pipe.
Welding process for sealing a battery module
The present disclosure relates to a battery module that includes a housing having a first protruding shelf along a first perimeter of the housing, a second protruding shelf along a second perimeter of the housing, where the first and second protruding shelves each include an absorptive material configured to absorb a first laser emission. The battery module also includes an electronics compartment cover configured to be coupled to the housing via a first laser weld, and a cell receptacle region cover configured to be coupled to the housing via a second laser weld. The electronics compartment cover has a first transparent material configured to transmit the first laser emission toward the first protruding shelf and the cell receptacle region cover has a second transparent material configured to transmit the first laser emission or a second laser emission toward the second protruding shelf.
Manufacturing Method of Resin Frame
A resin frame includes frame members combined into a frame shape that includes a corner portion, and a joint portion joining a pair of the frame members which are adjacent to each other at the corner portion. The joint portion includes an entire-surface welded portion, in which end surfaces of the pair of the frame members are welded to each other over an entire surface in a thickness direction of a plate portion of the frame members, and a partial welded portion, in which the end surfaces of the pair of the frame members are welded to each other on one side of the entire surface in the thickness direction while another side of the entire surface in the thickness direction is not welded. The entire-surface welded portion and the partial welded portion are present at different portions on an outer periphery of the joint portion.
CONNECTOR, AND METHOD
A connector, which is configured to be anchored in a first object with thermoplastic material, defines a proximodistal axis and has a plate portion extending around the proximodistal axis and having a proximal face and a distal face, the proximal face being adapted for a tool to be pressed thereagainst. The connector further includes an attachment structure accessible from the proximal side of the plate portion and/or an interaction element having a sensor and/or actuator. An anchoring skirt protrudes distally from the plate portion and distally and radially outwardly, whereby an outer pocket open towards radially outwardly is formed between the distal face of the plate portion and a proximal face of the anchoring skirt, and an inner pocket open towards distally is formed radially inwardly of the anchoring skirt. The plate portion extends radially further than the anchoring skirt.
Bonded body
A bonded body is formed of a first member and a second member. The first member has a first base portion and a first welded portion which protrudes from the first base portion toward the second member side. The second member has a second base portion and a second welded portion which protrudes from the second base portion toward the first member side. In a first region of the joint portion, a first rib formed so as to project from the first base portion toward the second member side covers the first welded portion and the second welded portion from the side. In a second region different from the first region, a second rib formed so as to project from the second base portion toward the first member side covers the first welded portion and the second welded portion from the side.
SUBSTRATE SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
A substrate support structure includes: a substrate support including: a support body; and a protrusion including a base portion and a leading-end portion, the protrusion protruding from the support body; and a substrate having: a substrate body; a through hole provided at the substrate body; and a protruded portion surrounding the through hole, the protruded portion protruding from a first face of the substrate body, in which the base portion of the protrusion passes through the through hole, and the leading-end portion protrudes from the first face of the substrate body inside the protruded portion and engages with the substrate body such that the through hole is covered.
FILLING PACKAGING MACHINE, CONTENT FILLING CONTAINER, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
There is provided a filling packaging machine which does not cause poor sealing between a sealing tape and the inner surface of a tubular packaging material in a laterally sealed portion as formed by ultrasonic sealing. A filling packaging machine includes a tape attachment device, a vertical sealing device and a lateral sealing device. The tape attachment device attaches a predetermined-width portion of a sealing tape to one end of one surface of a web-like packaging material in such a manner that a first edge of both edges of the sealing tape, which is to be located on an overlapping portion side of a tubular packaging material when viewed from an inner step of an overlapping portion, will be disposed at a position displaced from an outer step of the overlapping portion when viewed in the thickness direction of the tubular packaging material.
