Pet hydro washer

A pet hydro washer is described comprising a central housing containing a motor and an air inflow impeller, a fluid delivery system having a clean liquid storage tank, and a water delivery line in fluid communication with the clean liquid storage tank terminating at a nozzle, a fluid recovery system having a liquid recovery tank in fluid communication with the air inflow impeller through a first air conduit, and a suction hose in fluid communication with the liquid recovery tank, the motor configured to generate rotational movement in the air inflow impeller, a processor configured to control delivery of power to the motor, the controlling delivery of power including incrementally changing a level of power delivered to the motor, and at least one attachment head configured to wash an animal's fur through movement of at least one attachment head across the animal's fur while the air inflow impeller is operating.

Systems and Methods Related to Conduit Insulation

Systems and methods according to the present invention utilize improved sleeves for insulating fluid (i.e., liquid and/or gas) conduits. For example, some blow dryers are equipped with a flexible conduit to convey heated air from a heater element to a nozzle for such purposes as material handling, material drying, or even hair drying, such as pet or other animal hair drying. An improved insulating tubular sleeve is provided with securing and/or mounting mechanisms to assist in maintaining sleeve position along a conduit and to reduce heat transfer externally from the conduit, such as by preventing direct contact between animal hair or skin or other materials and the conduit.

Animal Spraying Devices, Systems and Methods of Use

The present invention provides a novel and improved animal sprayer for use in cooling livestock and other animals in different hot or dry environments, and methods of using the same. Embodiments of the novel animal sprayers may include a valve which does not require constant electric current to remain open during a spraying session, extending system battery life. The valves may also be self-cleaning, less likely to leak, and easily adjusted to control flow rate, reducing both water use and labor costs in monitoring and repairing the animal sprayer.

Sprayer with articulated arm and sensor system

A teat sprayer for use in dairy applications is described that uses an articulated arm and system to deliver a spray to a teat and move between multiple dairy animals. In one aspect the dairy animal teat treatment apparatus, comprises a spray inlet, a spray nozzle, a flow path extending between the spray inlet and the spray nozzle, and an articulated arm conveying the spray nozzle, movement of the articulated arm driven by an actuator. Articulated arm movement may be between a retracted position in which the spray nozzle and articulated arm are retracted and an extended position in which at least part of the articulated arm and spray nozzle thereon is extended, moving the spray nozzle to a position configured to be about an animal's udder. In a further aspect, the apparatus, comprises an animal sensor positioned generally above and behind an animal bail and directed generally downwards configured to sense the presence of an animal in the animal bail; and a controller configured to actuate spraying of the animal's teats from spray nozzle extension and retraction in response to a signal received from the sensor. The apparatus may act to reduce cost through reduced numbers of treatment apparatus and/or lower labour costs and expenses; increase accuracy/efficiency through automation and speed of treatment; address issues associated with the inconvenience/space constraints in dairy platform configurations; and minimise the number of sensors required and position these sensors away from the animal bail.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CLEANING AN ANIMAL'S FOOT
20210015073 · 2021-01-21 ·

Systems and methods for self-cleaning of an animal's feet. The apparatus includes a cleaning portion, a drying portion, and a barrier. The cleaning portion includes upward projections and a tray for retaining water. The animal, such as a dog, cleans its own feet by walking over the wet projections. The drying portion includes an absorbent upper layer supported by a lower support. The dog dries its own feet by walking over the absorbent layer which surrounds the feet on multiple sides. The barrier is deployable to various heights and configurable to restrict movement of the dog along the cleaning and drying portions, such that the dog must clean its paws prior to entering a designated clean area, such as an interior of a home.

PORTABLE PET DRYING APPARATUS
