The brush with retractable bristles allows for both an easy removal of hair and/or debris on the bristles simply by the axial movement of the brush assembly and a replacement of the brush bristles when the brush bristles are damaged or dirty. The brush with retractable bristles is configured to be used with an electric tool which enables a rotation of the brush.

A button may be included to selectively dispense the fluid, through use of a manual pump or an electric motor. A disposable pad may be attached to the exterior of the brush, allowing the metal bristles to pass through the pad. The pad may attach using hook-and-loop fasteners or some other type of adhesive. The device is particularly useful for cleaning dogs.

The grooming tool also includes a hair removal member for removing shed hair from the comb, wherein the hair removal member is moveable in a direction corresponding to an extension direction of the teeth of the comb, a toggle button movable along a surface of the handle between a first position and a second position and a linkage assembly linking the toggle button to the hair removal member to control movement of the hair removal member; wherein when the toggle button is located at the first position, a front end surface of the hair removal member is located in a retracted position and when the toggle button is moved to the second position, the front end surface of the hair removal member is moved forward to an extended position to remove hair from the comb.
