Sensing mat for an animal treatment system
A system that incorporates spraying logic onto a sensor mat to detect and apply various liquids onto the feet of an animal. Each sensor in the sensor mat actuates at least one predetermined spray nozzle application of the medicinal fluid. The system is designed so that each hoof triggers at least two sensors, with each sensor activating at least one spray nozzle. All of the electronic components are located away from the mat and a controller control spraying and timing. Stop bars prevent the mat from compressing beyond a predetermined distance to prevent sensor failure. The sensors have a triple moisture prevention configuration.
Livestock Insecticide Application System
A system for applying an insecticide onto livestock. The system includes a gate assembly, two side brush assemblies, and an applicator assembly. During use, an animal contacts the applicator assembly, thereby causing the insecticide to exit the applicator assembly and contact the animal, where it is applied by the applicator assembly and the two side brush assemblies. The system is configured to efficiently and conveniently apply the insecticide onto the animal and reduce or eliminate a need for manually applying the insecticide onto the animal.
LIVESTOCK OILING APPARATUS WITH HIGHLY COMPACT CONFIGURATION
A support apparatus for supporting a substance receptive element may have a central axis extending between a top and a bottom of the apparatus, and may include a central base, an upstanding stanchion mounted on the central base and extending toward the top; and a plurality of legs mounted on the base. Each leg is movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position with respect to the base. The collapsed position may correspond to a transport condition of the apparatus and the expanded position may correspond to a deployed condition of the apparatus. The base may include a plurality of mounting structures with each mounting structure being associated with a leg for mounting the leg to the base. The mounting structures may secure the legs to the base in the collapsed position of the transport condition and the expanded position of the deployed condition.
FLUID DISPENSING PET BRUSH
An apparatus for cleaning animals useful for simultaneously brushing and applying a fluid to a pet's coat. The device is a brush shaped like a cone with rounded contours having metal bristles with rounded tips. In addition to the bristles, the brush includes fluid conduits which run parallel to the bristles. The conduits are attached to a fluid reservoir housed in the body of the brush or in a handle attached to the brush. In some embodiments, the fluid may be contained in a cartridge. A button may be included to selectively dispense the fluid, through use of a manual pump or an electric motor. A disposable pad may be attached to the exterior of the brush, allowing the metal bristles to pass through the pad. The pad may attach using hook-and-loop fasteners or some other type of adhesive. The device is particularly useful for cleaning dogs.
Systems And Methods for Filling and Flushing Animal Footbaths
The present invention provides improved systems and methods for flushing out animal footbaths at remote locations which do not have a reliable or high pressure water supply. Embodiments of the flushing systems of the present invention preferably include at least one fluid pressurizing pump and one or more large fluid storage tanks which receive water from a source and place it under pressure for use in the system. Embodiments of the flushing systems of the present invention are capable of automatically: taking in water from a low pressure water source; pumping the water into one or more storage tanks to place it under pressure; preventing backflow of the pressurized water; storing the pressurized water until one or more footbaths requires flushing; performing a flushing operation by opening a master valve or a series of valves in parallel; controlling whether the pressurized water remains untreated by flowing through a flush tube or becomes treated with one or more cleaning or disinfecting compounds by flowing through a mixing pipe in communication with one or more chemical tanks, the pressurized water flowing into and flushing out the one or more fouled footbaths; filling the footbaths with fresh disinfecting solution; refilling and re-pressurizing the one or more storage tanks for the next flushing operation; and blowing out any remaining moisture from the system of pipes to reduce bacterial growth and prevent pipe-bursting in freezing weather.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DAMAGING PARASITES
A method of damaging a parasite while being a resident in or on a surface of a body of a mammal. The method comprises irradiating the parasite with ultrasound radiation at a frequency of from about 1 MHz to about 2.6 MHz for a period of at last one second.
METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR HANDLING, GRADING AND VACCINATING LIVING BIRDS
The invention provides a device, a system and a method for handling, grading and vaccinating living birds, wherein the device comprises a main member; a receiving member rotatably attached to the main member and configured to receive and hold the birds by their scapula-humeral joints in a first position and to release the birds in a second position; and a locking member movably attached to the main member and configured to lock the receiving member in the first position and to release the receiving member to rotate from the first position to the second position to release the birds.
Multifunctional Intelligent Breeding and Rearing System
Disclosed is a multifunctional intelligent breeding and rearing system. Functional modules such as a radio-frequency ear tag and identification device, a central controller (1), an isolation and dislodging device (2), a multifunctional feeding trough (3), an automatic feeding device (4), a quantitative water supply device, a feeding trough automatic flushing and a remaining feed detection are utilized to form a basic automatic feeding unit. Through the feeding unit, an identity and eating information of a pig is identified; for a pig that does not eat during a feeding time period, feed and water are injected into a feeding trough simultaneously according to a feed amount and a mixing ratio preset by the system, for precise feeding; a pig that has eaten up is dislodged in real time; and the feeding trough is automatically flushed at an end of feeding. The system realizes automatic and intelligent feeding of a livestock.
CATTLE CURTAIN
A cattle curtain utilizing a wicking action to displace concentrated insecticide to be wiped on animals as they pass through an animal pathway. The cattle curtain includes a reservoir body for holding the concentrated insecticide. A series of ropes is secured within the reservoir body, and the series of ropes is secured through fittings, whereby a metal pin is inserted through each rope. A valve disposed on top of the reservoir body to control flow of the concentrated insecticide into the series of ropes.
Robotic injection system for domestic herd animals
A robotic injection system is herein described for delivering vaccines, reproductive hormones, and liquid materials to domestic herd animals. The robotic injection system includes a cooling-unit for storage of the liquid materials to be injected, a series of automatic gates to control the movement of herd animals, an RFID and camera ID reading system utilized for tracking identification numbers and medical history, a robotic arm to position and apply force in the injection process, and an injection mechanism for delivering injections to the patient.
