1. Animal care and/or cleaning device.

2. An animal care and/or cleaning device, having at least one brush (2), which is mounted on a shaft of the brush (16), which can be driven by an electric motor drive (36) to generate a rotary motion of the brush (2) and is rotatably mounted in a bearing device (14) provided on a support device (4, 6), and having an actuating device by means of which the drive (36) can be actuated as a function of contact of the brush (2) with an animal body, is characterized in that the bearing device (14) has at least one shaft bearing (14) which holds the axis of rotation (16) of the brush (2) in a fixed positional relationship to the support device (4, 6), and in that the drive (36) is driven by torque acting on the shaft of the brush (16) in one or other direction of rotation, caused by an impact motion of the animal body on the brush (2), is carried along at most to a predeterminable dead stop on the support device (4, 6) and that the drive triggers the actuating device (42) for the purpose of actuating the drive (36) during this motion.

An all-in-one cat housing apparatus for providing living, eating, and bathroom space for a cat includes a housing structure having a top side, a bottom side, a front side, a rear side, a left side, a right side, and an inside. A plurality of apertures extends through to the inside. An upper divider is coupled within the inside to form an upper compartment between the upper divider and the top side. A lower divider is coupled within the inside to form a middle compartment between the lower divider and the upper divider and a bottom compartment between the lower divider and the bottom side. A drawer is coupled within the upper compartment. The drawer is slidable through the top front aperture and is configured to receive cat litter to function as a litter box. A scratching post is coupled to the top side of the housing structure.

Arrangement for light sheet microscopy

An arrangement for light sheet microscopy including: a sample vessel, for receiving a medium containing sample, having a covering and being oriented with respect to a planar reference surface; illumination optics with an illumination objective for illuminating the sample with a light sheet; and detection optics with a detection objective. The optical axis of the illumination objective and the light sheet lies in a plane that forms a nonzero illumination angle with the normal of the reference surface. The optical axis of the detection objective forms a nonzero detection angle with the normal of the reference surface. A bulge is formed at the covering for receiving the sample. The bulge has inner and outer interfaces. The optical axes of the illumination objective and detection objective form a minimal angle with the normals of the interfaces at least in the region where the optical axes pass through the interfaces.

PET PORTAL WITH INTEGRATED AND REPLACEABLE GROOMING SYSTEM
20200040650 · 2020-02-06 ·

An apparatus for removably attaching a brush to the interior of a portal whereby a flexible brush backing to which the brush is attached is slid into, and retained by, grooves in the portal. The brush backing is removable from the portal without removing the portal from the door, wall, or other article into which the portal is installed.

Rubbing Device

Disclosed is a rubbing device. The rubbing device comprises a rotating drive part, a mounting post and a rubbing part provided with an inner hole. The rubbing part is rotatably installed on the mounting post through the inner hole; the rotating drive part is installed on the mounting post, positioned in the inner hole, and its output end is connected with the rubbing part; and the rotating drive part is used for driving the rubbing part to rotate to rub a to-be-rubbed object when the to-be-rubbed object scratches the rubbing part. In the present application, the rotating drive part can drive the rubbing part to rotate when the to-be-rubbed object scratches the rubbing part, so as to better rub the to-be-rubbed object.

Cleanfeeder

An animal clean feeder device comprising a feeding structure having at least three sides, and at least one opening on one of the three sides, where the opening is large enough for a domestic animal to insert their head through. The feeder device also has a cleaning system which, when positioned on the feeding structure, allows the animal to clean their face as they move their head in and out of the opening on the feeding structure. Systems for cleaning an animal's face and a method for cleaning an animal's face are also included.

Brush for livestock animals, device comprising a brush of this type, and method for brushing livestock animals

A rotatable livestock brush has a rotation axis and a brush surface configured to be brought into contact with a contact region of a body of a livestock animal. The brush surface includes at least a first region having first pressure-transfer properties, and a second region having second pressure-transfer properties which differ from the first pressure-transfer properties. A plane at a right angle to the rotation axis intersects both the first and second regions. The brush has a cylinder shape with a central cylinder axis. The rotation axis is eccentric and in a position which differs from a position of the central cylinder axis. Upon rotation, the brush massages the body of the livestock animal in the contact region thereof by transferring the varying pressures onto the body of the animal by successively bringing the first and second brush surface regions into contact with the body of the animal.
