Method for placing a self-sealing product on the inner surface of a tire
The process includes a non-crosslinked self-sealing composition which is introduced into an extrusion means, the geometric and thermodynamic characteristics of which have been specially adapted. The speed and temperature conditions of the extrusion means are adjusted so that, at an application nozzle forming the outlet die of the extrusion means, the self-sealing composition is crosslinked. The application nozzle is brought close to the internal surface of the casing previously set in relative motion with respect to the application nozzle, and an extruded and crosslinked bead that has a given width and profile is deposited directly on the internal surface of the casing.

A method of manufacturing bulked continuous carpet filament which, in various embodiments, comprises: (A) grinding recycled PET bottles into a group of flakes; (B) washing the flakes; (C) identifying and removing impurities, including impure flakes, from the group of flakes; (D) passing the group of flakes through an expanded surface area extruder while maintaining a pressure within the expanded surface area extruder below about 25 millibars; (E) passing the resulting polymer melt through at least one filter having a micron rating of less than about 50 microns; and (F) forming the recycled polymer into bulked continuous carpet filament that consists essentially of recycled PET.
POLYOXYMETHYLENE FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The invention is a polyoxymethylene film and a preparation method. The polyoxymethylene film comprises: 96 to 98 parts by weight of polyoxymethylene resin, 0.5 to 2 parts by weight of nucleating agent, 0.5 to 1 parts by weight of antioxidant, and 0.5 to 1 parts by weight of formaldehyde absorbent. In view of the high crystallinity and fast crystallization rate of polyoxymethylene, blown film process is used to directly blowing the molten mass extruded through a die of a screw extruder to form a blown film bubble. It is easy to form thin neck and easy to break when stretching, so the method is beneficial to form polyoxymethylene film, and has high processing efficiency, and is suitable for industrialization. Copolymerization unit CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O is introduced into the molecular chain of polyoxymethylene and its ratio is increased, thereby effectively reducing the crystallization rate of the materials and making it easier to form a film.
3D printer spray nozzle structure and method thereof for controlling speed and precision
The present invention relates to a technical field of 3D printing, and more particularly to a 3D printer spray nozzle structure and a method thereof for controlling speed and precision. According to the present invention, a feeding pipeline is embedded in an external shell, the feeding pipeline and an extruder are coaxially connected; the extruder is driven by a driving device, so as to rotate relative to the feeding pipeline. A rotation angle of the extruder relative to the feeding pipeline is controlled by rotation of a motor, for controlling a filament area actually sprayed by the extrude, in such a manner that printing speed and precision is controlled for suiting different requirements of different printing area. The present invention controls the printing speed and precision, for improving overall printing speed with precision requirements satisfied, and is applicable to 3D printer spray nozzle structure and controlling.

The polymer composition according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a thermoplastic resin at 30 to 70 parts by weight; an eco-friendly resin, including a bio-resin, at 1 to 50 parts by weight; and a silicone resin at 1 to 60 parts by weight based on the total weight of the polymer composition.
METHOD FOR INDIRECTLY DERIVING A SYSTEMATIC DEPENDENCY BETWEEN A SETTING PARAMETER AND AN OPTICAL PROPERTY OF A FILM WEB, METHOD FOR ADAPTING THE QUALITY OF A FILM WEB
The invention relates to the determination of the optical quality of a film. On the one hand, a correlation of the obtained measured values with the production parameters, which are detected in a time-synchronous manner at the extrusion plant, is carried out. On the other hand, a correlation of said obtained measurement data with the geometric and/or functional properties of a film, for example the water vapor permeability, is carried out. The obtained correlation of data is used in the process for controlling the running production process of the film to an optimum operating point. Consequently, the resulting functional properties of a film are improved in an automated manner and met according to the desired specifications. The operator can predetermine which geometric and/or functional properties of a film are accepted as a control variable.
ON-LINE MELT TENSION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEASUREMENT OF MELT STRENGTH OF POLYMERIC MULTILAYER AND MONOLAYER STRUCTURES
The present disclosure includes a method for determining a melt strength includes extruding one or more polymers to form the polymer film, passing the polymer film at least partially around a measurement roll coupled to a force measuring device, at least partially around a chill roll downstream of the measurement roll, and through a nip defined between two nip rolls, and measuring a force exerted on the measurement roll by the polymer film using the force measuring device. The polymer film is at least partially molten when contacting the measurement roll. A system includes an extruder, a measurement roll couple to one or more load cells, a chill roll coupled to a drive motor, at least two nip rolls downstream of the chill roll, and a take-up roll downstream of the nip rolls. The load cells measure a force exerted by the molten polymer film on the measurement roll.
Composite floor and manufacturing method thereof
A composite floor comprises a coextrusion layer compression molded using a coextrusion process. The layer comprises a first stone-plastic layer, a stone-plastic foaming layer, and a second stone-plastic layer sequentially arranged from top to bottom. The stone-plastic foaming layer is used as the main material layer, which reduces a whole weight of the floor; and the first stone-plastic layer and the second stone-plastic layer are arranged at two sides of the stone-plastic foaming layer, respectively, so that the composite floor is more stable. It is more environmentally friendly and simple in manufacturing to use the coextrusion process for compression molding by avoiding bonding using glue. Use of the coextrusion process makes various layers bond more compact, with little delamination and warpage due to effect of environmental changes. The composite floor has a low expansion rate and shrinkage rate, excellent in performance and long in service life.
Pellet-Based Fused Deposition Modeling 3-D Print Process for Production Manufacturing
A device and method manufacture an object for a user by fused deposition. A screw conveyor conveys a plurality of solid thermoplastic pellets from a hopper to a barrel. A heating element, coupled to the barrel, melts the solid thermoplastic pellets within the barrel, thereby producing a thermoplastic liquid. The thermoplastic liquid is extruded through a nozzle that caps one end of the barrel, the extruded thermoplastic liquid thereafter solidifying into the object. A computerized control system controls both a flow rate of the thermoplastic liquid, by adjusting rotation of a motor coupled to the screw conveyor, and a position of the nozzle above the build surface according to a three-dimensional shape of the object. The device and method are particularly suited for mass production of customized shoes and other objects, whereby thermoplastic material can be easily combined with customized colorants and blowing agents.
