Preparation method of high-rate foamed polylactic acid (PLA) sheet
A preparation method of a high-rate foamed polylactic acid (PLA) sheet includes first-stage extrusion, second-stage extrusion, and foamed sheet extrusion. The method requires the following raw materials in parts by mass: 88 to 94 parts of PLA, 1 to 2 parts of a nucleating agent, 2 to 5 parts of a foaming agent, and 2 to 5 parts of an additive. The new method effectively solves the problems of low foaming rate, low strength, and the like in the industrial production using carbon dioxide, and a prepared PLA sheet with high foaming rate and excellent surface performance can be used in the fields of food packaging, disposable fully-degradable lunch boxes, and the like.
METHOD OF INCREASING BUBBLE STABILITY OF A POLYETHYLENE RESIN
A method of increasing bubble stability of a needful high molecular weight bimodal high-density polyethylene resin in need thereof, the method comprising subjecting the needful high molecular weight bimodal high-density polyethylene resin to a determined amount of oxygen tailoring of the resin so as to independently increase both the resin's melt storage modulus G (at G=3000 pascals) and complex viscosity ratio SH1000, and thereby make an oxygen-tailored high molecular weight bimodal high-density polyethylene resin having a targeted increase in bubble stability. The method uses a tailoring effective amount of molecular oxygen (O.sub.2) to achieve the desired oxygen tailoring. The method uses these advanced rheological properties from dynamic mechanical spectroscopy, but analyzes the data in a different way that is more sensitive to changes in resin composition and properties, and yet achieves a resin regime having a targeted increase in bubble stability.
Extrusion blow-molding method and device for the performance thereof
An extrusion blow molding method includes detecting an exit velocity of a tube exiting a head during a blow molding cycle for forming the tube. A melt accumulator receives part of the melt conveyed by an extruder or discharges melt in addition to the melt conveyed by the extruder in dependence on the detected exit velocity. The melt accumulator discharges melt if the detected exit velocity is less than a target value for the exit velocity and receives melt if the detected exit velocity is greater than the target value for the exit velocity.
METHOD FOR MONITORING AND CONTROLLING A TWIN-SCREW EXTRUDER, AND TWIN-SCREW EXTRUDER
In the disclosed method, in order to control an extruder including two intermeshing screws for driving a material to be extruded, the following steps are performed while a material to be extruded is being processed by the extruder: constantly measuring the viscosity of the material in the flow of the material in the extruder, and adjusting the extruder in accordance with the viscosity measurement. In order to adjust the extruder in an effective and efficient manner, the rate at which the extruder is filled with material along the intermeshing screws is modified by adjusting, downstream from the screws, a flow cross-section for the material in accordance with the viscosity measurement.
Device and method for extrusion of a solid body
The extrusion device of a solid film comprises a cell provided with an input opening of a material designed to form the solid film, and an output opening of the solid film from the cell. The device comprises a first heat exchanger for applying a first temperature to the output opening and a second heat exchanger for applying a second temperature in a first zone of the cell distinct from the output opening and a control circuit imposing first and second sets of first and second temperatures. The first set enables a volume of the material in solid phase to be formed. The second set enables a temperature gradient to be generated in the volume so as to generate a pressure forcing extrusion of the solid film via the output opening.
Device and procedure for extrusion and application of spacer profile of an insulating glass
The present relates to a device and a procedure for the extrusion and application of a spacer profile of insulating glass, particularly for a machine adapted to compose the spacer frame directly against one or more glass panes constituting the insulating glass starting from a thermoplastic product prevalently contained in drums, displacing the extrados thereof to an adjustable and controlled distance referred to the margin of one or more glass panes.
