Tire vulcanization mold and tire manufacturing method using the same
A tire vulcanization mold includes a side molding surface, a mark forming stencil plate for forming a convex mark at an outer surface of a side portion, an attachment recess provided in the side molding surface, and a screw fixing the stencil plate to the attachment recess. The stencil plate is formed larger than the attachment recess so as to cover the attachment recess, and a peripheral portion of the stencil plate is in contact with an opening peripheral portion of the attachment recess.
PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH A TEXTURED SURFACE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING, AND TEXTURED MOLD
A tire mold having a sidewall molding surface with a negative irregular rough surface texture pattern extending circumferentially along the sidewall molding surface so as to mold at least one annular exterior surface of a tire sidewall of a tire with an irregular rough surface texture, the negative irregular rough surface texture pattern defining recessed portions disposed non-uniformly between raised portions, the recessed portions having a depth of at least 0.1 millimeters.
TIRE CURE MOLD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TIRE
A tire cure mold has a tire molding face, a mounting groove provided to the tire molding face and a stencil plate mounted into the mounting groove. The stencil plate has a front face that faces a cavity, a back face that faces a bottom face of the mounting groove, and a through hole extending from the front face to the back face. A recessed portion for forming a protruding identification mark on the outer surface of the tire is provided to the front face. A first protruding portion corresponding to the recessed portion is provided to the back face. A second protruding portion that protrudes toward the bottom face of the mounting groove is provided to an outer edge portion of the stencil plate at least at a periphery of the through hole.
Tires and other objects having an aerodynamic/hydrodynamic surface treatment
Various embodiments of a tire, and other objects, having an aerodynamic and/or hydrodynamic surface treatment are disclosed.
BALL HITCH TIP OUT PLUG, TRIANGLE LEG TIP OUT PLUG, COMBINATION, AND TIP OUT PLUG TOOL
A combination of first and second plugs for a tire mold includes associated first and second receivers/jackets. Fasteners secure the receiver to an associated tire mold. A securing member extends from the receiver into the cavity of the first receiver to retain the first plug therein. The first plug is contoured and dimensioned for mating receipt in the first receiver cavity. The second plug is likewise contoured and dimensioned for mating receipt in the associated second receiver cavity, but will not be accepted in the first receiver. A tool is provided to facilitate insertion and removal of the first and second plugs, and limit the potential for damage to the associated tire mold.
Tire Tracking RFID Label
Identification labels and their incorporation in rubber-based articles are described. The labels include RFID components and can be incorporated in tires. The labels can withstand the relatively harsh conditions associated with vulcanization.
VEHICLE TIRE COMPRISING A HATCHED SURFACE, VULCANIZATION MOLD AND PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to a vehicle tire (1) with sidewalls (2) and a tread (3) and with at least one hatched area (4) on at least one of the sidewalls (2) and/or the tread (3), wherein the hatched area (4) has elongated hatching ribs (5) which are arranged largely parallel to one another. The invention also relates to a vulcanization mold and to a method for producing the vehicle tire.
The object is to influence the contrast effect in an even more targeted fashion and to further increase the contrast effect. It is also intended to make it possible for the tire to be produced reliably by means of a vulcanization mold.
This is achieved by each hatching rib (5) having branches (7), wherein in each case precisely one short transverse elevation (6) branches off from each branch (7) of the branches, and by the short transverse elevations (6) all branching off on a same first side (9) of the hatching ribs (5) and ending in a free end (8).
Method for Producing Pneumatic Tires, Tire Mold, and Pneumatic Tires
In manufacturing a pneumatic tire, a replaceable member having a smooth flat surface is attached to a mold body of a tire mold configured to vulcanize an unvulcanized tire into a predetermined shape by contact with the unvulcanized tire. A mold inner surface that forms the shape of a tire side surface portion includes a curved surface of the mold body and the flat surface surrounded by the curved surface. A vulcanized tire is produced by vulcanizing the unvulcanized tire by bringing the unvulcanized tire into contact with the mold inner surface. A two-dimensional code is engraved in a planar surface region of the vulcanized tire, which corresponds to the flat surface. In the two-dimensional code, a dot pattern is formed by two types of gray scale elements that are formed identifiable from each other by surface unevenness.
Decal marker system
A decal marker used with a marking station interchangeably carries a decal tape and a marking tape and transfers a decal from the decal tape to a surface to be marked. A marking assembly frame and at least one marker carried by the marking assembly frame which carries the decal tape or the marking tape are included. A tape sensor assembly is carried by the at least one marker and detects an edge of the decal so that the at least one marker properly positions the decal for transfer to the surface.
Stencil plate for tire, tire vulcanization mold and manufacturing method of tire using the same
A tire vulcanization mold includes a side molding surface, a stencil plate for forming a mark that forms a convex mark on an outer surface of a side section, an attachment concave part provided to be recessed on the side molding surface and a male screw fixing the stencil plate to the attachment concave part. An attachment hole to which the male screw is screwed is provided in the attachment concave part and a tapered countersunk part is provided at an opening of the attachment hole. The stencil plate is provided with a bulge part with a tapered shape receiving a head part of the male screw and fitted to the countersunk part. The bulge part is provided with a protrusion protruding to an outer side with respect to a tapered outer peripheral surface thereof and abutting on a countersunk surface of the countersunk part.
