PNEUMATIC TIRE
In the pneumatic tire where a mark is formed on a surface of the side wall portion, the mark is formed such that one end portion and the other end portion of the mark in at least one direction of a tire meridian direction, a tire circumferential direction or an oblique direction inclined with respect to the tire meridian direction or the tire circumferential direction are recessed with respect to the surface of the side wall portion, a center portion of the mark in the at least one direction is raised with respect to the surface of the side wall portion, and a height of a surface of the mark with respect to the surface of the side wall portion is gradually increased toward the center portion from the one end portion and the other end portion.
Method for producing pneumatic tires, tire mold, and pneumatic tires
In manufacturing a pneumatic tire, a replaceable member having a smooth flat surface is attached to a mold body of a tire mold configured to vulcanize an unvulcanized tire into a predetermined shape by contact with the unvulcanized tire. A mold inner surface that forms the shape of a tire side surface portion includes a curved surface of the mold body and the flat surface surrounded by the curved surface. A vulcanized tire is produced by vulcanizing the unvulcanized tire by bringing the unvulcanized tire into contact with the mold inner surface. A two-dimensional code is engraved in a planar surface region of the vulcanized tire, which corresponds to the flat surface. In the two-dimensional code, a dot pattern is formed by two types of gray scale elements that are formed identifiable from each other by surface unevenness.
COLOR MARK STRUCTURE APPLYING ON RUBBER PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A color mark structure applying on rubber product comprises cellophane and a transfer paper. The transfer paper is arranged on the cellophane and a predetermined color or a predetermined pattern with a predetermined color is printed thereon by screen printing. The transfer paper having the predetermined color or the predetermined pattern with the predetermined color and the cellophane are attached on the rubber product. The upper and lower sides of the transfer paper are respectively connected with the cellophane and the rubber product.
Distribution unit for a particulate material
A distribution unit (U) for distribution carbonaceous particulate material, in particular powdered rubber or equivalent material to be applied on the peripheral surfaces (F) of a tire (P), comprises nozzle diffuser (2) for spreading said particulate material and pneumatic supply (1,3,5,7) for feeding said particulate material to said nozzle diffuser (2).
PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH A TEXTURED SURFACE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING, AND TEXTURED MOLD
A tire mold having a sidewall molding surface with a negative irregular rough surface texture pattern extending circumferentially along the sidewall molding surface so as to mold at least one annular exterior surface of a tire sidewall of a tire with an irregular rough surface texture, the negative irregular rough surface texture pattern defining recessed portions disposed non-uniformly between raised portions, the recessed portions having a depth of at least 0.1 millimeters.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR BUILDING TYRES
A carcass ply is applied around an outer surface of a building drum according to an application diameter larger than the fitting diameter of a tyre. Coaxially engaged around each of the end flaps is an annular anchoring structure defining the fitting diameter. A pair of sidewalls is manufactured by laying of a continuous elongated element in the form of approached coils on the carcass sleeve. An outer sleeve, including at least one belt structure possibly associated with a tread band, is coaxially centered around the carcass sleeve. Through axial approaching of two halves forming the building drum, the carcass sleeve is shaped into a toroidal configuration to determine application of same against a radially internal surface of the outer sleeve.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR LABELLING A GREEN TYRE FOR BICYCLES
The invention relates process and an apparatus for labeling a green bicycle tire. The process comprises-fitting a tyre (2) around a support table (11): positioning, in a pressing area (23) arranged on the support table (11), a tread junction (6a) carried by the tyre (2) fit around the support table (11); applying at least one label (32) on the tyre (2); pressing the tread junction (6a) during the application of said at least one label (32).

Method for manufacturing tire and pneumatic tire manufactured thereby
A method for manufacturing a tire having a sidewall portion provided with a projecting marking is disclosed. A stencil plate for molding the projecting marking is made of a thin metallic plate whose thickness is 0.2 to 0.8 mm and mounted in a recess formed in a sidewall molding surface of the tire vulcanization mold. A concave marking part for molding the projecting marking is formed by press working upon the metallic plate. Edge portions of the stencil plate are turned back. The backward extension H2 of the turnback is substantially the same as the depth of the concave marking part.
Mould Element For A Tire Mould Comprising A Mark
A mould element (2) for a mould for a tire comprising a marking (20), the mould comprising a shell intended to mould the sidewall (10) of the tire (1). The mould element (2) is a removable insert intended to be mounted in a housing of the shell, and the marking (20) is intended to mould on the tire a coded matrix symbol that contrasts with the sidewall of the tire, the marking (20) comprising a first set of cavities (201) or of protuberances (202) which is designed to mould dark parts of the coded matrix symbol (5).
