Wide area mower deck with open-box structure
A wide area mower with an open-box structure mower deck. The deck has a width from the left to right side of about 72 to 120 inches. The deck's length is about 24 to 70 inches. A left and right front wheel are positioned in front of the deck. The wide mower deck will flex, twist, or bend when one of the left or right wheels travels over uneven terrain while the rest of the mower travels over substantially level terrain. A cutting height adjustment mechanism is provided on the mower that allows an operator to raise or lower an entire left side or an entire right side of the mower deck to a selected cutting height. This is done simply by disengaging a locking mechanism and manipulating a lever on a four-bar linkage attached to each side of the deck and then re-engaging the locking mechanism.
VARIABLE WIDTH FRAME SYSTEMS
Frame systems include a plurality of connected frame units. Each frame unit includes a first end plate connected to a first end of a frame element a second end plate connected to a second end of the frame element. The plurality of frame units is movable between a first state and a second state, wherein in the first state, the plurality of frame units has a first width along a width axis of the plurality of frame units, and a first frame unit and a second frame unit of the plurality overlap by a first overlap amount along the width axis. In the second state, the plurality of frame units has a second width along the width axis and the first frame unit and the second frame unit overlap by a second overlap amount along the width axis.
MOWER WITH MANUAL LIFTING MECHANISM FOR WING DECK
A mower with one or more wing decks that includes one or more manual lifting mechanisms for the one or more wing decks. The manual lifting mechanism may shift between retracted and extended positions, where in the extended position a handle can be positioned further away from the wing deck. When the handle is in the extended position, a user can manually engage the handle and lift the wing deck from a lowered configuration to a raised configuration, using less force than would be required if the handle was in the retracted configuration.

WALK REEL MOWER WITH A TELESCOPIC FLOATING HANDLE ASSEMBLY HAVING INTERCHANGEABLE HANDLES, IN SITU BACKLAPPING, A TRACTION BAIL, AND INTERCHANGEABLE REEL CUTTING UNITS
A walk reel mower has a traction frame that carries a telescopic handle assembly to accommodate users of different heights. A pivotal bail on the handle assembly allows the user to slip a traction clutch to temporarily slow the mower down when turning the mower around. The handle assembly has a resilient isolator that acts in shear to permit the traction frame of the mower to maintain the quality and the height of cut when operated by users having a heavy downpressure touch on the handle assembly. A fixed head reel cutting unit or a flex head reel cutting unit can be interchangeably carried on the traction frame using a common mount therefor. Backlapping can be accomplished in situ by using an idler wheel between a driven transport wheel and the reel of the cutting unit to reverse the direction of the reel.

IN-CROP WEED CLIPPING IMPLEMENT
An implement for clipping weeds in a field, where the weeds are standing taller than the crop. The implement comprises a plurality of rotatable blades on a frame, with variable height adjustment means to elevate the frame and position the blades above the crop but at a level sufficient to clip the upper portions of the weeds, The blades are powered by PTO-driven shaft segments, the segments connected by U-joints, wherein the implement further comprises alignment means for aligning the U-joints so that the frame can be folded for transport without damaging the shafts or U-joints.

HEIGHT OF CUT AND RAKE ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
A height of cut and rake adjustment system for a rough, trim and surround mower deck with a pair of front height of cut arms and a pair of rear height of cut arms. Each height of cut arm is pivotably mounted to the mower deck on a pivot axis below an upper end of each height of cut arm. An adjustable height of cut linkage extends between the upper end of each front height of cut arm and the upper end of each rear height of cut arm. An adjustable rake linkage extends between the upper end of each front height of cut arm and an intermediate portion of each rear height of cut arm below the pivot axis.
