The present invention relates to a therapeutic blanket (1) with weight elements. The blanket (1) comprises a first textile layer (11), a second textile layer (12), and a plurality of weight elements (2) arranged between the first textile layer (11) and the second textile layer (12). Each one of the plurality of weight elements (2) is individually fixed at a predefined position between the first textile layer (11) and the second textile layer (12), and none of the plurality of weight elements (2) are in direct contact with another weight element (2). The present invention is at least partially based on the realisation that by individually arranging weight elements (2) at predefined positions within a therapeutic blanket (1), where none of the weight elements (2) are in direct contact with each other, a blanket (1) with better breathing properties and less noise issues may be achieved.

A removable sleeved dog coat for easily adding or removing sleeves to improve pet comfort includes a body stocking having a top side, a left side, a right side, a head aperture, a pair of leg apertures, and a rear aperture. The top side has a zip aperture extending from the head aperture to the rear aperture. The body stocking is configured to be worn on the torso of a dog. A principal zipper is coupled to the zip aperture to open and close the zip aperture. A first attachment mechanism is coupled to the body stocking adjacent the pair of leg apertures and the rear aperture. A pair of rear leg sleeves each has a second attachment mechanism that is selectively engageable with the first attachment mechanism adjacent the rear aperture. The pair of rear leg sleeves is configured to be worn on the rear legs of the dog.

An example of an alternating pressure garment according to the disclosure includes a fabric shell configured to fit around at least a portion of a companion animal, a plurality of bladders disposed between the fabric shell and the companion animal, and a pressurizing module fluidly coupled to the plurality of bladders and configured to alternately pressurize at least a first group of the plurality of bladders and a second group of the plurality bladders.

Protective clothing and apparel for pets and animals, and method of using same, structured as a shirt and/or hat made of an ultraviolet protective rash guard material with at least on portion having cooling crystals integrated therein. In a first embodiment the clothing is directed to a pet shirt constructed having a top portion, bottom portion, and side portions arranged to form a generally tubular member having an opened torso end, two leg members, and a collar member. In a second embodiment the clothing is directed to a pet hat constructed having a top portion, side portions and a front portion having a visor member attached thereto, the side portions having a lower rim. Two ear members and securement means are integrated within the lower rim of the side portions. At least a portion of the shirt/hat comprises ultraviolet properties. Additionally, at least a portion of the shirt/hat comprises a cooling zone formed of a plurality of cooling crystals. Owing to the ultraviolet material and cooling crystals the pet clothing shields pets/dogs from harmful ultraviolet rays while keeping them cool and comfortable and mitigating heat exhaustion.

A pet costume is provided to accommodate a pet and provide insulation for said pet. The pet costume comprises a torso portion. The torso is provided with an aperture to accommodate the torso of the pet, and the aperture is provided with a lacing system to tighten and fasten the aperture to the pet. A hood is attached to the top of the torso and accommodates the head of the pet. An aperture is provided in the hood to allow the face of the pet to access the environment. A restraint assembly for an animal having a front anchor member, a rear anchor member and a coupling assembly. The front anchor member is configured to be secured to an animal through an interaction with at least one of a neck, a first front leg, and second front leg thereof. The rear anchor member is configured to be secured to an animal through interaction with at least one of a tail, a first rear leg, and a second rear leg thereof. The coupling assembly coupling the front anchor member to the rear anchor member in releasable engagement, to limit articulation of a body of the animal, sufficient to substantially preclude a head of the animal to rotate and reach portions of behind the head with a mouth of the animal.
