Portable customization system for articles of footwear
A steaming system for an article of footwear includes a container with a lid configured to accommodate a steam source. The system also includes provisions for securing the article of footwear such that a majority of the upper is subjected to steam. Articles of footwear may be placed in the steaming system to help customize the articles of apparel for a user's fit and comfort. The steaming system can be configured to be portable and carried by a person.
Injection molding device and injection method thereof
Provided is an injection molding device, including an injection port arranged on an upper mold base; an upper mold arranged in the upper mold base, wherein at least one ejection port, a gasket groove and a gasket are provided and the ejection portion is connected to the injection port; a lower mold base operatively aligned with or separated from the upper mold base and provided with at least one gas passage for the gas to enter or exit; and a lower mold disposed on the lower mold base. The lower mold base is aligned with or separated from the upper mold base, the lower mold is provided with a mold cavity and at least one shaped air path is provided to connect the mold cavity with the gas passage. The lower mold is a porous material and has a plurality of pores. Gas is pre-injected into the mold cavity through the gas passage and at least one air path to maintain a preset pressure inside the mold cavity. Gas is spewed out through the plurality of pores, thereby causing a finished product to exit the mold cavity. In addition, the present disclosure also provides an injection molding method.
RESILIN MATERIAL FOOTWEAR AND FABRICATION METHODS
An article of footwear includes an upper and a midsole coupled with the upper. The midsole includes at least a portion of a solid resilin material comprising a cross-linked recombinant resilin and a polar nonaqueous solvent.

BIODEGRADABLE, INDUSTRIALLY COMPOSTABLE, AND RECYCLABLE INJECTION MOLDED MICROCELLULAR FLEXIBLE FOAMS
This document discloses a process for manufacturing recyclable injection molded microcellular foams for use in, footwear components, seating components, protective gear components, and watersport accessories, The process includes the steps of providing a thermoplastic polymer which comprises at least one monomer derived from depolymerized postconsumer plastic, inserting a fluid into a barrel of a molding apparatus. The fluid is introduced under temperature and pressure conditions to produce a super critical fluid. The process further includes mixing the thermoplastic polymer and super critical fluid so as to create a single phase solution, and injecting the single phase solution into a mold of an injection molding machine under gas counter pressure. The process further includes foaming the single phase solution by controlling the head and temperature conditions within the mold.
Facial mask and method of making
Masks for various uses and methods for manufacture thereof, including masks for use in continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) therapies. An example includes a mask having a first, relatively softer material for contact with the face of the user, and a second, relatively harder or more structural material used away from the face of the user, with a gradient therebetween. The mask can be produced by additive manufacturing to avoid a discernible boundary between the first and second materials.
Light-cured composite insole
The present invention describes a shaped footwear device intended to be used as a supportive insole or orthotic and a system and methods for making the same. The footwear device includes a top foam layer, a light-cured composite material layer, and a bottom textile layer. The footwear device is created by conforming a pre-cured insole assembly to the plantar surface of a foot or foot mold and then exposing the pre-cured insole assembly to light to create a shaped footwear device with a light-cured composite material support plate.
METHOD OF AUTOMATEDLY HEATING, PRESS MOLDING AND REPLACING MULTIPLE MOLDS AT THE SAME TIME FOR INSOLE MATERIAL
A method of automatedly heating, press molding and replacing multiple molds for insole materials contains steps of: setting manufacture parameters by using a host control unit; setting a size and quantity of multiple insoles, a reloading weight of each mold, a heating temperature and a molding time of each insole in each mold; feeding the insole materials into the multiple molds by using the automatic material feeder to be heated and press molded; judging whether the molding time of each mold is more than or equal to a set time; waiting the molding time when the molding time of each mold is not more than or equal to the set time; taking the multiple insoles out of the multiple molds and judging whether the multiple insoles reach a set production quantity, and stopping production of the multiple insoles, when the insoles reach the set production quantity, thereby obtaining automatically production.

The mask can be produced by additive manufacturing to avoid a discernible boundary between the first and second materials. The mask may include a foam element, which can be removable for replacement in some examples, for contacting the patient's skin.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF MODIFYING THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODEL OF FOOT TO CREATE MODIFIED THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODEL
A method and a system for modifying a three-dimensional (3D) model to create a modified 3D model efficiently and accurately. The method includes obtaining the 3D model and identifying a first point that is a plantar head of 1. metatarsal, a second point that is a plantar head of 5. metatarsal, a third point that is a pternion, and an Achilles tendon center of coronal axis. Furthermore, defining a first straight line, a second straight line perpendicular to the first straight line and a third straight line that is perpendicular to the plane. Thereafter creating the modified 3D model by rotating and translating the heel part such that the second straight line passes through the third point (306), and the Achilles tendon is parallel to the third straight line.
