Device for sludge treatment
A device for sludge treatment comprises a supporting frame of an external casing defining a treatment chamber provided with one inlet opening of the sludge to be treated; one discharge opening of the treated sludge; at least one auger element housed within the treatment chamber, and adapted to move the sludge to be treated along a direction of advancement; and filtration means located internally to the treatment chamber and surrounding the auger element; at least one anodic element associated with the auger element, and application means for applying a potential difference between the anodic element and the filtration means, generating an electric field adapted to interact with the sludge to be treated to produce an electro-osmotic process.
Tunable Seed Oil Expeller Press
A low speed seed oil expeller press with the capability of extracting oil through a new design that does not crush or grind the seed so as to eliminate the need for filtration and maintain the seed oil at a temperature below 130 degrees F. The seed oil expeller press has a seed preheating capability and controls the pressure and extraction oil temperature by manipulation of the expeller speed, the head volume and the size of the pressed seed exit orifice. The seed oil expeller press eliminates seed rotation within the head volume so as to eliminate crushing, grinding or tearing of the seed by a symmetrical knived press head. The seed oil expeller press regulates seed temperature, seed feed rate, seed pressure, seed rotation and extracted seed oil temperature so as to compensate for the seed size, seed hardness and seed oil content, so as to allow for seed compression without crushing or tearing to accomplish seed oil extraction at a low (cold press) temperature.
Elongated scraper profile
An elongated scraper profile is provided, preferably for a dewatering device that serves the purpose of dewatering sludge. The scraper profile features a lip section extending in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the scraper profile, which serves the purpose of scraping sludge components from a screen surface. The scraper profile features a fastening section extending in the direction of the longitudinal extension, which serves the purpose of fixing the scraper profile with the assistance of a retainer assembly. The scraper profile also features an intermediate section connecting the lip section and the fastening section, whereas the intermediate section is flexibly formed in a direction running perpendicular to the longitudinal extension, such that the lip section is moveable in the direction of the fastening section.
Screw filter press
A screw filter press comprising a screw shaft, having at least one coil turn and two screw shaft ends. The shaft axis is parallel to the gravity vector and is supported by screw shaft upper end connected to a rotary drive. The screw shaft is enclosed a filter area by a cylindrical filter tube, with openings and which is adjacent radially to a filtrate space, to which underpressure is applied. The sliding tube radially surrounding the screw shaft is the same inner diameter as the filter tube. Radial play occurs between at last one coil turn adjoining the filter tube proximate to the filter tube inner wall.
Screw press for separation of liquid from bulk materials
A screw press liquid separator includes a perforated screw cradle disposed within a housing. A screw is formed on a shaft within the screw cradle. A second portion of the screw extends to a discharge end and is completely surrounded by a compression portion of the cradle. A first portion of the shaft has a first diameter extending the length of the screw, and a second portion of the shaft within the compression portion and extending past the output end of the screw has a second larger diameter. A transition portion of the shaft tapers from the second diameter to the first diameter. Discharge guides extend from the discharge end of the housing. Discharge doors are pivotally mounted to the discharge end of the housing and are biased to close against the discharge end of the housing. Paddles radially extend from the shaft outside of the discharge doors.
Apparatus and a method for the dehydratation treatment of waste sludge
An apparatus for treating waste sludge includes an outer container casing, internally hollow, an inner body coaxial with the outer casing, a compacting and dehydrating chamber, inside the outer container casing and along which sludge to be treated runs, an inlet zone for supplying sludge to the chamber, an outlet zone for unloading treated sludge, movement elements for the sludge, cooperating with the inner body, which promote compaction and advancement of the sludge from the inlet zone to the outlet zone; a container net connected to a negative pole of a control unit to form a cathode, and the inner body connected to a positive pole to form an anode. A method of treating sludge includes the promoting the continuous advancement and compaction of sludge inside a compression chamber between the anode and cathode, and establishing a difference in potential in order to subject the sludge to an electrical field.

A juicer includes a housing being open to top and including an annular first flange on a top and at least one lower juice spout on a peripheral surface, and a support on a bottom; a filtering mechanism in the housing and including longitudinal ridges on an inner surface, screens each disposed between two adjacent ones of the ridges, annular second flanges on an outer surface, a first rim extending downward from the lowest second flange, and at least one port through the first rim; a rotating mechanism in the filtering mechanism and including an annular element on a bottom edge, a helical screw blade on an outer surface, and an electric motor for rotating the screw blade; and a feed chute on the housing and including an annular member on a bottom edge and a second rim extending downward from the annular member.
Juice extraction drum and juicer
A juice-extracting drum includes a screw rotating inside. An inner module includes a hollow cylinder with an upper portion having the screw. A plurality of slits are formed as penetration holes having both lateral sides, an upper surface, and a lower surface along an interior circumference. An outer module is detachably coupled to the inner module, and includes a rib protruding in a radially interior direction on an interior circumference. The rib is inserted into the slit of the inner module when the outer module surrounds and combines the inner module. A predetermined fixed gap discharging juice extracted by the screw is formed lengthily in an up and down direction between the lateral side of the slit of the inner module and a lateral side of the rib of the outer module. The fixed gap is formed in a direction intersecting the screw blade.
