Juicer and Juice Extraction Screw Thereof
A juicer includes a housing having a top and including a juice spout on a periphery surface, and a support on a bottom. A filtering mechanism is disposed in the housing and includes a cylindrical wall having a meshed screen portion, and at least one annular flange on an outer surface. A rotating mechanism is disposed in the filtering mechanism, the rotating mechanism including a screw comprising a bolt portion and a spiral portion formed on a peripheral of the bolt portion and extending spirally upward to form a top free end. A bottom of the rotating mechanism is coupled to an electric motor and rotatable about a rotating axis of the electric motor. The top free end of the screw is located at an eccentric position relative to the rotating axis. A feed chute is disposed on and engaging the top of the housing. A bottom surface of the rotating mechanism is rested upon the support of the housing.
Auger screen with adjustable length press zone
A dewatering device for removing entrained solids and debris from a liquid stream includes a housing defining a chamber. An auger has a first end positioned outside the chamber and a second end positioned inside the chamber. A compaction zone includes a first tube fixed to the housing. A second tube is slidably mounted on the first tube. A partition is secured to the second tube and has a first longitudinal position in the housing allowing a solids plug to form in the compaction zone and a second longitudinal position in the housing preventing the solids plug from forming in the compaction zone.
Composting garbage disposal
A composting garbage disposal for under sink use in a kitchen which separates food waste items into liquid and solid components. The liquid components are directed to a standard sewer or septic system. The solid components are directed to a removable storage bin. The food waste items are separated by use of a motor driven auger member which is in close proximity to the inside wall of a screened cup so that the liquid exits the screened portion of the cup and the solid exits through an aperture in the floor of the cup. A microprocessor circuit senses the strain on the drive motor and if the strain becomes excessive, automatically reverses the direction of the shaft and auger thereby releasing excess food waste that is causing the excess strain.
Screw Press and Method for its Maintenance
The invention relates to a screw press (1) for dewatering sludge, whereas the screw press (1) features at least one inlet opening (2) for the sludge to be dewatered, whereas the screw press (1) features a pressing assembly, with the assistance of which the sludge is able to undergo a pressing process after passing the inlet opening (2), with which the liquid (9) present in the sludge is at least partially driven out of the sludge, whereas a pressing assembly comprises a worm shaft (4) that is movable in a rotational movement with the assistance of a drive (17) and several screen elements (5) surrounding the worm shaft (4), at least in sections, during the operation of the screw press (1), whereas the screen elements (5) feature a screen surface (6) turned towards the worm shaft (4) and a support structure (7) securing the stability of the screen elements (5), whereas the pressing assembly features at least one outlet opening (8) for the liquid (9) driven out of the sludge with the assistance of the worm shaft (4), and whereas the screw press (1) features at least one discharge opening (10) for the sludge (11) that is at least partially dewatered with the assistance of the pressing assembly. In accordance with the invention, it is proposed that the screw press (1) features at least one holding unit (12), with the assistance of which at least the support structure (7) of at least one screen element (5) can be fixed in a maintenance position, in which the screen surface (6) of the corresponding screen element (5) is spaced apart from the worm shaft (4).
VERTICAL SEPARATOR FOR THE TREATMENT OF SLURRY
A vertical separator for the treatment of slurry. The vertical separator comprises: a screen device, with a vertical axis, provided with a screen; a feeding device, provided with a pump, to feed the slurry to a screen device; a discharge device for the liquid part; and a discharge device for the solid particles. The screen device houses a counter-pressing device (e.g. a screw, which is designed to generate a reaction, which partially counters the pushing action exerted by the pump upon the slurry.
SCREW PRESS FOR COMPRESSING AND DEWATERING A SUSPENSION
A screw press includes a press-chamber, wherein a screw shaft supporting thus the screw shaft surrounding by a screen-jacket and may rotate about a screw shaft axis, wherein the screen-jacket is fastened to a screen-jacket retaining device within the press-chamber and screen-jacket is formed by multi-part screen-cages having screen-cage inserts. Multi-part screen-cages are formed by two half-shells and, between at least one pivoting hinge arranging, on a bar, extending through press-chamber and arranging parallel to the pivot axis, as part of the screen-jacket retaining device and firmly connected to both half-shells. Half-shells and supported thus the half-shells pivoting in relation to each other, unhindered access to the screen-cage inserts enabling swung-open state. A cage tab is arranged on each half-shell on the side facing away from the pivoting hinge, which cage tab detachably fastening to the screen-jacket retaining device by the cage closing in the closed state of the half-shells.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRECIPITATING SOLIDS FROM A SUSPENSION INCLUDING DISSOLVED GASES
A device for a precipitating solid material particles from a suspension of a brew liquid including dissolved CO.sub.2 and plant based aroma hearer solid material particles, the device including a filter surface which separates a non-filtrate space from a filtrate space wherein the non-filtrate space receives the suspension; a suspension inlet leading into the non-filtrate space, a filtrate outlet opening into the filtrate space; a mechanical compressor that is provided in the non-filtrate space and configured to feed the suspension under a separation of the brew liquid through the filter surface within the non-filtrate space along the filter surface to a compression portion of the non-filtrate space and to compress the remaining solid materials: and a solid material output opening provided in a wall of the non-filtrate space in the compression portion of the non-filtrate space wherein the solid material output opening is closeable tight relative to an ambient atmosphere.
Archimedes screw separation plant for treating slurry
An Archimedes screw plant for separating slurry includes a tubular sifting device; a slurry feeding device; a device for evacuating the liquid fraction; and a device for evacuating the substantially dry separated solid. The device includes an upper compaction chamber of the separated solid where a solid plug of product is formed. In addition, the tubular sifting device has an upper opening being provided with an auxiliary contrast element for forming the solid plug of product.
