TRASH COMPACTOR AND TRASH BIN EQUIPPED WITH A TRASH COMPACTOR
A trash compactor for a trash bin with an openable cover includes a frame conforming to and fastenable on the openable cover. The frame has an acuuator of a telescopic construction and a one-way clutch allowing extension in a trash compaction direction. A pusher mounted on an end of the actuator is moveable for compacting trash. A lever arm connected to the actuator operates the actuator to telescopically extend the pusher in the compacting direction.
Rubber bales and apparatus and method for making same
Improved bales may be formed using methods that include baling equipment with multi-component bolster assemblies that may ease installation and removal, reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The bolster assemblies may include a plurality of coupling portions that engage a hydraulic rod and may enable the bolster assembly to self-center within a press chamber during normal baling operations. The bolster assemblies also may include an island portion that may be attached to the coupling portions and to a bolster cap, and the latter may be attached using retainer bolts having substantially flat, non-circular heads. The bolts may reduce irregularities in the bale and/or prevent material seepage into the bolster assemblies. During maintenance, an operator may remove only the bolster cap island assembly for cleaning, substantially reducing the time and strength needed to clean and/or repair the baler and reduce downtime.
UNIT FOR TREATING USED FOOD PACKAGES
The present disclosure concerns units for treating used food packages, more specifically for separation and compactization of used capsules containing edible ingredients residues, such that the units are configured to receive and compact a stack of used food packages, as well as separate food substance residues from the packages during such compaction.
Refuse compression apparatus and a method for operating refuse compression apparatus
A compression apparatus for compressing refuse into a collection bin is provided. The compression apparatus includes: a compression tool having a first end and a second end, where the first end of the compression tool is pivotably hinged in the compression apparatus, and rotation of the second end of the compression tool is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder. Further, the hydraulic cylinder includes three separate chambers such that a first extracting chamber and a second extracting chamber are arranged on an extracting side of the hydraulic cylinder, and a retracting chamber is arranged on a retracting side of the hydraulic cylinder, and the first extracting chamber and the second extracting chamber are configured to be utilized separately or jointly. A method for operating a compression apparatus for a refuse collection bin also is provided.
Refuse collection apparatus
A refuse collection apparatus is disclosed. A refuse collection apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention a main body unit into which a refuse is inserted, a refuse compression unit installed in the main body unit and configured to compress the refuse inserted into the main body unit and a movement range detection unit located inside of the main body unit and configured to detect a movement range of the refuse compression unit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRESSING ORGANIC MATERIAL OUT OF WASTE
A press for processing organic waste has two plungers. Preferably, the plungers have rectangular cross sections. The two plungers are mounted in the press such that they are perpendicular to each other and have partially overlapping stokes. The press has walls that partially enclose a pressing chamber. The pressing chamber is as wide as one plunger on one side, and as wide as the other plunger on another side. In operation, one of the two plungers is used to optionally load organic waste into the pressing chamber, to partially enclose the pressing chamber while the waste is compressed, and to eject compressed waste from the pressing chamber. The other plunger is used to compress waste in the pressing chamber whereby a pressate is produced through perforations in a wall of the pressing chamber. The other plunger may also partially enclose the pressing chamber while compressed waste is ejected.

Agricultural baler with a plunger slot cover
An agricultural baler comprising a main bale chamber having a pair of opposed side walls. Each side wall includes a plunger slot arrangement defining a plunger slot. Each plunger slot has opposite ends and is open at both an inside adjacent to a plunger and an opposite outside. The plunger is reciprocally disposed within the main bale chamber, and includes a pair of opposed sides and at least one roller extending laterally outward from each side. Each roller is positioned within a respective plunger slot. The baler is characterized by a pair of plunger slot covers, with each cover only partially covering a respective outside of a corresponding plunger slot such that each end of the plunger slot is uncovered.
Alignment of plunger with gearbox in a baler
A system and method for aligning a compacting plunger of an agricultural square baler with respect to a gearbox for driving the compacting plunger. The method includes controlling a position of plunger rails on and against which the compacting plunger will move when the agricultural square baler is in operation, with respect to a position of a carrying beam adapted for carrying the gearbox. Controlling the position of the plunger rails with respect to the carrying beam adapted for carrying the gearbox rather than with respect to the side walls of the baler provides the advantage of reduced wearing and/or fractures of parts of the baler.
Ram liner
A liner for a ram configured to press a viscous material. The liner includes a liner wall and a circumferential lip. The liner wall is configured to abut a ram plate of the ram and includes a number of apertures configured to align with apertures of the ram plate. The liner wall and circumferential lip are configured to prevent the viscous material from contacting a ram surface and circumferential surface of the ram plate, thus making the ram easier to clean.
