Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for a rosin press that allows improved extraction over existing presses. Computerized systems are provided for controlling and monitoring the system in an automated fashion, including via a wireless device or a server.

Closed Loop Feedback Press

The pressing of an article is achieved with a closed-loop feedback press. The closed-loop feedback press is effective to measure an amount of pressure applied and adjust the pressure to achieve a prescribed amount of compression on the article. Further, the press may leverage a closed-loop feedback system to maintain a consistent temperature of one or more platens. The press is able to adjust a pressure applied one or more times during a pressing operation to accelerate a temperature change in the pressed article while reducing the pressure applied as the temperature approaches a target temperature to limit unintentional deformation and bleeding of the pressed material of the article.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE SUBSTRATE

The present invention relates to a system for manufacturing a composite substrate, the system comprising: a hot-press device which hot-presses a first composite substrate comprising a printed circuit board and a coverlay temporarily attached thereto to form a second composite substrate, and discharges the second substrate therefrom; and a transfer device which transfers the first substrate into the hot press device while regulating the amount of supplied first composite substrates.

A system for manufacturing a thermoplastic part from a blank part having a first moulding member and a second moulding member which are configured to cooperate together. A first heating body configured to heat the first moulding member and conductively heat the blank part. Two thermal insulation members are configured to cooperatively define a closed cavity in which at least the moulding members and the first heating body are arranged. A casing defining an internal volume in which at least the moulding members, the first heating body and the thermal insulation members are arranged, and a suction member is configured to lower the internal pressure in the internal volume to compress the preform part between the moulding members.

Transfer film and membrane coverings for panel products
11673384 · 2023-06-13 ·

A membrane covered panel and a membrane covered panel production method are provided wherein an elastomeric membrane, and preferably, an aqueous elastomeric resin-based membrane, is applied to a finished panel construct, prior to pressing of the membrane covered panel. The method is used to produce panels which can be used in the production of flooring materials, wall panels, furniture, countertops, and the like. The membrane is applied to a transfer film, which transfer film can be removed at any time prior to, or after the pressing operation. The panels produced have a durable but elastic surface which can protect the surfaces of the panel construct. The elastomeric covering on the panel construct also preferably provides a surface which is abrasion resistant, and provides better acoustical properties while providing a soft touch haptic surface.

HEAT PRESS DEVICES
