The proximate feeder platform surface has three or more adjustable sensors attached so that the sensors are in a non-linear arrangement and are level with and parallel to the die table.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS PROCESSING OF POWDER PRODUCTS
A system for continuous processing of powder products includes a first inlet configured to input a first dry powder product, a second inlet configured to input a second dry powder product, and a dry powder mixing device that mixes the first dry powder product together with the second dry powder product to form a product mixture. An outlet dispenses the product mixture from the dry powder mixing device. A production machine is included and has a powder feed frame comprising a feed frame inlet connected to the outlet of the dry powder mixing device. The outlet of the dry powder mixing device is positioned at a lower level than the feed frame inlet. A product conveying device is connected between the outlet of the dry powder mixing device and the feed frame inlet to continuously convey the product mixture from the dry powder mixing device to the feed frame inlet.
Compression-molding system and method of controlling the same
A compression-molding system in which upon a start of a molding machine being stopped, a powdery-material feeding device preliminarily supplies a filling device with a predetermined amount of a powdery material while stopping a relative displacement of the filling device and a compression by an upper punch and a lower punch, and the molding machine is subsequently started to cause the relative displacement of the filling device and the compression by the upper punch and the lower punch.
Device to level a feeder platform
A leveling device for leveling a feeder platform relative to a die table of a tablet compression machine to a desired distance, the leveling device comprising a top plate, a bottom plate, and at least three distance sensors; the top plate and the bottom plate are attached and the top plate has a top plate surface and a proximate feeder platform surface; the bottom plate has a die table engaging surface and the at least three adjustable distance sensors are mounted in a non-linear fashion on the proximate feeder platform surface; the die table engaging surface and the proximate feeder surface are essentially flat and are parallel to the each other and the die table engaging surface and the proximate feeder surface are sized such that when mounted on the tablet compression machine the die table engaging surface is parallel and proximate to the die table and the proximate feeder platform surface is approximately parallel and proximate to the feeder platform. A device for leveling the feeder platform relative to the die table of a tablet compression machine where the device has a base having top surface, a die table engaging surface and a proximate feeder platform surface. The die table surface and the proximate feeder surface are essentially flat and level or parallel with each other. The surfaces are sized such that when mounted on a tablet compression machine, the die table engaging surface is level with and parallel to the die table and the proximate feeder platform surface is approximately parallel to the feeder platform. The proximate feeder platform surface has three or more adjustable sensors attached so that the sensors are in a non-linear arrangement and are level with and parallel to the die table.
POWDERY-MATERIAL MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF CHECKING OR CALIBRATING PROPERTIES OF SENSOR PROBE
A powdery-material measurement device includes a sensor probe configured to receive reflected light from mixed-powdery materials passing adjacent thereto or transmitted light through the mixed-powdery materials to measure characteristics of the mixed-powdery materials while the powdery-material measurement device is in operation to deliver the mixed-powdery materials toward an equipment, and a standard sample having known characteristics and facing the sensor probe that is disposed to receive the reflected light from the standard sample or the transmitted light through the standard sample, when the mixed-powdery materials are not present adjacent the sensor probe while the powdery-material measurement device is in operation to deliver the mixed-powdery materials toward the equipment.
PRESSING DEVICE
A powder pressing device, such as a metal powder or ceramic powder pressing device includes at least one die and at least one punch. In a pressing position, the punch is arranged to be immersible from a first side of the die into a cavity filled with powder. The powder pressing device further includes at least one powder sealing device, which can have at least two parts. The powder sealing device can be arranged in sections, which can be arranged completely around the cavity.
METHOD FOR POWDER PRESSING AT LEAST TWO PRESS PARTS AND POWDER PRESSING DEVICE
The invention relates to a method for powder pressing at least two pressed parts, in particular ceramic powder pressed parts and/or metal powder pressed parts, wherein a first powder (17) for pressing a first pressed part is filled into a first cavity (13) of a die (12) with a first filling level and a second powder (18) for pressing a second pressed part is filled into a second cavity (14) of the die (12) with a second filling level, wherein the first and second filling levels are individually adjusted. Preferably, the first powder is filled via a first filling shoe and the second powder is filled via a second filling shoe, wherein the two filling shoes, at least temporarily, are not moved simultaneously.
