LINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF COVERED CARDBOARD BOXES
A line and method for the production of covered cardboard boxes are disclosed. The line includes a conveyor unit including a belt and a conveyor actuator that drives the belt intermittently in an alternating sequence of movements and stops. A feed unit individually feeds covering blanks from a reservoir to the conveyor unit in a sequence of feed instants. An erecting machine folds box blanks into corresponding boxes. A positioner individually positions the boxes from the erecting machine, in alignment on corresponding covering blanks disposed on the belt of the conveyor unit. A gluer spreads glue on one face of the covering blanks. A covering machine folds the covering blanks into contact with their respective boxes to cover the boxes. A control unit connected to the feed unit adjustably sets a phase displacement of the feed instants relative to the sequence of stops of the belt.
System and method for forming boxes from cardboard blanks
A system for automatically forming packaging boxes comprises a folding station comprising four folding units adapted to fold panels of cardboards blanks to form substantially cuboid boxes or lids or combinations of a box and a lid, some of said panels in the folded state forming pairs of two panels running substantially parallel to each other in a processing direction, in which the blanks are transported through the system, and orthogonal to a width direction of the blanks, which is the orthogonal direction to the processing direction in the plane of the blanks, one or more glue application units adapted to put glue on at least one panel of each of said pairs of two panels, a feeding conveyor to convey a cardboard blank into the folding station, a curing station adapted to take over the boxes or lids or combinations of a box and a lid folded in the forming station from the folding station, said curing station comprising holding structure to form-fittingly hold said pairs of panels and to guide the boxes or lids or combinations of a box and a lid through the curing station.
An apparatus for realising a cardboard strip for packaging by consecutively joining a plurality of cardboard sheets for packaging to one another
The apparatus (100) for realising a cardboard strip for packaging comprises: a store (M), for a stack (P) of cardboard sheets (C); gripping means (4), for picking up a cardboard sheet (F1) from the stack (P) and for positioning the second cardboard sheet (F1) on the first support (1) for the application of adhesive material; transfer means (6), for transferring the first cardboard sheet (F1) towards the second support (2), so that the first cardboard sheet (F1) is rested on the second support (2) with an end portion (E) thereof with the adhesive material projecting towards the store (M) and towards a third support (3).
The third support (3) is activatable into a raised configuration (S), to raise an end portion of a second cardboard sheet coming from the store and into a lowered configuration (A) so as to lower the end portion (E2) of the second sheet (F2) and position it at the end portion of the first sheet (F1). Pressor means (7) are activated transversally to the two sheets (F1, F2) so as to press the two superposed end portions (E, E2) of the two sheets (F1, F2) in order to fix the end portions (E, E2) to one another to form a cardboard strip (NC).
PRINTING UNIT, PRINTING DEVICE, BOX MAKING MACHINE
A printing unit includes a support frame that is supported to face a transfer passage for a sheet; an inkjet head that is fixed to the support frame and performs printing on a printing surface of the sheet; drive bodies that are rotatably supported on the support frame on both sides of the inkjet head in a width direction of the sheet and come into contact with the printing surface of the sheet; and a drive device that drives and rotates the drive bodies.
METHOD AND MACHINE FOR FORMING CARDBOARD BOXES BY GLUING, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE DEVICE THAT HAS STORED SAID PROGRAM
The present invention provides a method to form cardboard boxes (B) by gluing into a box-forming machine (100) from sheets (S), said machine (100), a computer program with instructions for said machine (100) to execute said method, and a computer-readable device that has stored said computer program. In this method, a stage (f) of the movement of inserting a pintle (20) into a mold (30) starts with a controlling element (70) when the position (P) of a drag element (11) of sheet (S) to a delivery position, where you place a sheet (S) aligned between said pintle (20) and mold (30), it corresponds to a second intermediate position (P2) between a source position and said delivery position; and a stage (b) of activation of a supplying actuator (61) starts with a controlling element (70) to supply a sheet (S) subsequent to the source position, when the position (P) of said drag element (11) corresponds to a third intermediate position (P3) between said source position and said second position (P2).
Device and method for ejecting exposure samples, discharge station and machine for processing sheet-shaped elements
An ejection device for ejecting sample blanks for a processing machine for processing elements in sheet form, the processing machine comprising: a plurality of work stations including at least one waste removal station, and a conveying device comprising a plurality of gripper bars configured to drive the elements through the work stations, the ejection device comprises at least one actuating element able to move between: an inactive position positioned away from the path of the gripper bars, and an active position positioned on the path of the gripper bars, the at least one actuating element being configured to collaborate with the gripper bars as they pass by, so as to open the gripper bars and eject, flat, a sample of blanks. The present invention also relates to a waste removal station, a processing machine for processing elements in sheet form, and a method for ejecting blanks samples in a machine.

Method and apparatus for forming containers
A method and system are disclosed for forming a can from a re-configurable blank. A blank is also disclosed that may be a paper based blank and may be of multi-layer construction. The method may comprise: (a) supporting the blank in a first orientation; (b) positioning a first portion of an outward facing surface of a blank support device proximate a first portion of the blank while the blank is in the first orientation; (c) while the first portion of the blank is in the first orientation, rotating a second portion of the blank around a second portion of the outward facing surface of the blank support device; and (d) rotating a third portion of the blank from the first orientation, around a third portion of the outward facing surface of the blank support device. A generally tubular side wall may thus be formed for a can.
Method and apparatus for forming containers
A method and apparatus are disclosed for forming containers. The containers may be cans, including composite cans. The apparatus may include a cylindrical mandrel and a blank may be formed into a cylindrical tube around the mandrel. Rotational apparatuses may engage portions of a blank that may be in a flat configuration and may rotate the portions around the outward cylindrical surface of the mandrel. Free edges of the tubular blank may be sealed by a sealing strip that may be T-shaped in cross section. A cup may be installed in an end opening, such as a bottom end, of the cylindrical tube. The cup may be sealed in the end opening by a seaming process using a seaming apparatus.
Method and apparatus for forming containers
A system and method are disclosed for forming a container from a generally flat re-configurable blank. A first portion of an outward facing surface of a blank support device is positioned proximate a first portion of a blank while the blank is in a first orientation. While the first portion of the blank is maintained in the first orientation, a second portion of said blank is rotated from the first orientation, around a second portion of the outward facing surface of the blank support device to form a blank that has a generally tubular configuration. The system and method may provide that during the rotating of said second portion of said blank, the blank is engaged on a surface side which forms an inner surface of the generally tubular configuration. Also disclosed is a system and method that includes retaining a reconfigurable blank in a holding apparatus; applying adhesive to a surface of the blank while said blank is retained in the holding apparatus.
