LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR FOLDING THE CONTAINER

A liquid storage container which can be securely inflated within an external container. The liquid storage container includes a bag body and an ejection outlet. The bag body includes a plurality of bellows portions formed by accordion-folding the bag body along longitudinal crease lines, and has a double-folded portion formed by folding the bag body along an upper lateral crease line and a lower lateral crease line. With reference to the bag body, the following relations are satisfied: 10%<X/H<50%, 3%<Y/H<10%, where H is the length of the bag body, x is the distance between the top periphery and the lower lateral crease line, and Y is the distance between the upper lateral crease line and the lower lateral crease line.

Packaging assembly, in particular cartoning assembly

The invention relates to a packaging assembly comprising a device for transporting a packaging means (2), in particular a carton, said device comprising a continuous conveying section (3) and a plurality of conveying elements (4, 5). The continuous conveying section (3) is oriented vertically, forming an upper run region (30) and a lower nm region (31), and the packaging means (2) is transported on the lower run region (31).

Flight lug for octagonal cartons

A carton conveyer for a packaging machine has upper and lower flights to which sets of flight lugs are attached. Each set of flight lugs comprises leading flight lugs and trailing flight lugs and the leading flight lugs have recesses that face and oppose recesses on the trailing flight lugs. The recesses are formed to confine an open carton therebetween. Notches are formed in the flight lugs in such a way that movement of the leading and trailing flight lugs toward one another causes an un-erected carton between the lugs to be captured and erected.

A blank of sheet material for forming a container includes a front panel, a top panel, a rear panel, and a bottom panel coupled together in series by a plurality of generally parallel fold lines. The blank also includes a pair of front side panels extending from opposing side edges of the front panel, a pair of top side panels coupled to opposing side edges of the top panel, and a pair of bottom side panels coupled to opposing side edges of the bottom panel. A side tab extends from each bottom side panel along a tab perforation line. Each side tab is configured to couple to one of the front side panels in a face-to-face relationship. A face of each of the top panel, the bottom panel, the pair of top side panels, and the pair of bottom side panels is devoid of perforation lines extending therethrough.

Box Erecting Device

A box erecting device and method has two rails and two platforms upon moveable clips that provide for a wide range of product sizes and configurations. The rails begin near each other then widen apart along their length. The two rails extend from a fore upright downward and outward to a cross member. The two platforms include a middle member and an aft upright. A spine connects to the fore upright, the middle member, the cross member, and the aft upright. A fore leg and a mutually parallel aft leg descend from the spine to their baseplates. The baseplates attach to a supporting surface. The rails extend below the elevation of the spine and below the aft member. The components of the invention connect with mechanical clips inserted into slots upon the components. Installation, adjustment, and maintenance of the device utilizes hand tools.
