Disclosed is a coreless roll of a tissue paper product made of a spirally wound continuous web having a first end and second end and an outer diameter in the range of 95 to 150 mm, the web of tissue paper product being wound to define an inner hole centrally positioned relative to the coreless roll such that the first end is located on the outer side of the coreless roll and the second end is located at the inner hole, a diameter of the inner hole being 20 to 50 mm, a density of the coreless roll being 80 to 150 kg/m.sup.3, and a caliper ratio of the roll being 10% to 80%, the tissue paper product including between two and four ply-bonded plies, at least one ply being Conventional Wet Press, and at least one ply being a structured ply.
Method and apparatus for changing rolls on an embosser/laminator machine
An embosser/laminator machine has an adhesive unit releasably connectable with a main frame structure of the machine, and a roll extractor configured to move a roll between the main frame structure and an exchange position between the main frame structure and the adhesive unit when the adhesive unit is spaced from the main frame structure during removal and installation of the roll. The sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit may be formed with a bearing cap that cooperates with the main frame structure such that when the adhesive unit is connected with the main frame structure, the roll is operatively secured to the machine between main frame structure and the sub-frame of the adhesive unit for normal operation of the machine. When the sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit is released and spaced from main frame structure, the roll may be removed from and installed into the main frame structure.
IMPROVEMENT TO EMBOSSING ASSEMBLY FOR PROCESSING PAPER
IMPROVEMENT TO AN EMBOSSING ASSEMBLY FOR PAPER PROCESSING, comprising two independent embossing rollers (1a) and (1b), and the respective press rollers (2a) and (2b), forming two embossing lines, for two layers of paper (Pa) and (Pb); the two embossing rollers (1a) and (1b) have their diameters with reliefs (3a) and (3b) distributed on parallel embossing rows of two paper layers (Pa) and (Pb); at least one of the embossing lines includes a glue applying station (4) with glue transferring rollers (5), one of which is in contact with the corresponding embossing roller (1a); a third press roller (2c) works with the first embossing roller (1a) and, at this point, the two paper layers (Pa) and (Pb) pass, already embossed and overlapped, fitted between themselves and glued; the precise integration of both paper layers (Pa) and (Pb) occurs due to an angular shift (α) previously defined between the relief rows (3a) and (3b) of the embossing cylinders (1a-1b).
TISSUE PRODUCT AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SAME
A tissue product with at least four plies made of tissue paper base sheet or nonwoven comprises: a first outer ply and a second outer ply and at least two inner plies between the first outer ply and the second outer ply, wherein only one of the inner plies is un-embossed; the outer plies comprise a micro-embossing pattern; at least one of the outer plies comprises a décor embossing pattern; and at least two adjacent inner plies comprise the un-embossed inner ply and one micro-embossed inner ply; wherein the density of the micro-embossed protrusions of the micro-embossed inner ply is different to the density of further embossed protrusions of the micro-embossing pattern of the outer ply which is adjacent to the micro-embossed inner ply.
Tissue product and method and apparatus for producing same
A tissue product includes at least one ply with embossed protrusions defining an interior volume, the embossed protrusions including a base, a top surface and a sidewall extending from the top surface to the base, wherein the sidewall of at least 10% of the embossed protrusion is provided with an indent region shaped such that the sidewall bends towards the interior volume of the embossed protrusion.
TISSUE PAPER PRODUCTS, ROLLS AND STACKS OF TISSUE PAPER PRODUCTS, AND MANUFACTURING METHODS
Disclosed is a tissue paper product, including between two and four plies, including at least a first ply and a second ply, the two plies, three plies, or four plies being ply-bonded, to form the tissue paper product, the first ply and the second ply being the outermost plies of the tissue paper product, a grammage of the tissue paper product being in a range of 24 to 50 g/m.sup.2 if a total number of plies of the tissue paper product is 2, in a range of 34 to 65 g/m.sup.2 if a total number of plies of the tissue paper product is 3, and in a range of 55 to 95 g/m.sup.2 if a total number of plies of the tissue paper product is 4, the first ply being a structured paper ply.

Semi-corrugated paperboard panels and method for production of same
A means of making a multi ply structural panel by eliminating the top liner in the corrugating process. The present invention is made possible through modification to the corrugating rolls of the singlefacer. The design modification to the rolls involves incorporation of slots that run around the circumference of one roll and mating creasing tools incorporated around the circumference of the other of the corrugated roll set. These slots and creasing tools are incorporated across the existing flutes of the corrugating rolls.
