The flavor compositions are microencapsulated in a natural protein shell, and the microcapsules are incorporated in a mesh liner. Along with a plush outer layer, the mesh liner defines a fabric enclosure that encloses a compressible fill material. When an animal bites into the toy, the microcapsules rupture, and the food flavor composition diffuses through the mesh liner and plush outer layer.

Ultra-light freestanding pet ramp

A pet ramp is provided having two panels in a collapsible arrangement, with a first panel having legs and a second panel able to be cantilevered from the first panel. The second panel extends beyond the legs and is pivotable to rest on any available surface. A stop is provided between the first and second panels to hold a cantilevered deployed position of the second panel.

The scoop both helps dispense treats and limits the number of treats that are dispensed. The scoop is disposed inside the toy where the pet cannot easily interact with it or alter its operation.

An outer surface of the first portion has a first opening to the interior of the chew toy. The second portion includes a first end, and the first end of the second portion includes a first surface for supporting the base of a chew that is larger than the first opening in a plane parallel to the first opening. When the second portion is removably coupled to the first portion the first surface is disposed in the interior of the chew toy and is offset from the first opening along a direction perpendicular to the plane of the first opening.

Embodiments of a controlled odor emission system and device include an odor presentation port tube and an odor tray securely retained against a platform, a valve housing securable to the platform adjacent the tray, a valve secured within the valve housing and an actuator for moving the valve. By controlling movement of the valve, precise amounts of an odor can be dispensed under programmatic control for training animals. Further, a system incorporating a central control unit and a reward dispenser in communication with an odor emission device to facilitate animal training.
