Adhesive composition, and coverlay film, bonding sheet, copper-clad laminate and electromagnetic shielding material, each using said adhesive composition
An adhesive composition containing (A) a modified polyolefin resin and (B) an epoxy compound, wherein the modified polyolefin resin (A) is a polyolefin resin graft modified with a modifying agent that contains an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. The content of the epoxy compound (B) is 1-20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the modified polyolefin resin (A); and the epoxy compound is composed of two or more types of epoxy compounds.
Material for reducing exposure to ionizing radiation
A material for reducing exposure to ionizing radiation. One exemplary embodiment comprises a felt layer; a foil layer; a first adhesive film layer disposed between the outer felt layer and the foil layer; a radiation shield layer; a second adhesive film layer disposed between the foil layer and radiation shield layer; and a foam layer disposed on the surface of the radiation shield layer opposite the second adhesive film layer. The material may be installed in commercial aircraft, corporate aircraft, flight suits, helmets, military uniforms, rotary aircraft, spacecraft, and the like. For example, the material disclosed herein may be provided as a headliner in an aircraft, or alternatively may be used to line the entire interior of an aircraft. In one or more embodiments, the material may be secured to a surface using a hook and loop attachment mechanism.
FRACTURE FILM FOR PEELABLE MEMBRANE CONTAINERS
The invention comprises a fracture film for sealing a peelable membrane to a container comprising a first layer of high density polyethelene, a second layer of polybutene-1/ethylene-vinyl acetate, wherein the second layer is bonded to the first layer, and a third layer of ethylene-acrylic acid, wherein the third layer is bonded to the second layer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISTRIBUTING AND DISPENSING PERSONAL SERVINGS OF CHOCOLATE
A multilayered, flexible, and generally flat pouch for transporting and dispensing chocolate, including first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions sealed together to yield a deformable generally rectangular fluid-tight sachet defining an internal volume and separating the internal volume from an external environment. The sachet further defines a top end, an oppositely disposed bottom end, and first and second sides extending therebetween. An untempered chocolate portion is contained within the internal volume. A tear notch is formed through at least one side and disposed adjacent the top end and a weakened tear strip extends between the second side and the bottom end. The sachet is substantially fluid-tight, and first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions each further comprise an outer layer, an inner high-slip layer, a printable binding layer disposed between the inner and outer layers, and a metal vapor barrier layer disposed between the inner and outer layers. When actuated, the first weakened tear strip produces a corner pour spout through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet. When actuated, the second weakened tear strip produces a central aperture through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet.
Multilayer flexible tube and methods for making same
A multilayer flexible tube includes an inner layer including a melt processable fluoropolymer, wherein the melt processable fluoropolymer includes a terpolymer including a tetrafluoroethylene, a hexafluoropropylene, and a vinylidene fluoride (THV); a tie layer including a polymeric blend of a terpolymer including a tetrafluoroethylene, a hexafluoropropylene, and a vinylidene fluoride (THV) with a poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF), a polyamide, a polyetheramide block copolymer, or combination thereof; and an outer layer including a melt processable polymer having a shore hardness less than a shore hardness of the inner layer.
Multilayer composite pipe and pipe assemblies including reflective insulation
One aspect of the invention provides a composite refrigeration line set including at least one selected from the group consisting of: a suction line and a return line, characterized in that one or more of the suction line and the return line are a composite refrigeration line set tube include: an inner plastic tube; a first adhesive layer positioned about the inner plastic tube; an aluminum layer positioned about the first adhesive layer and coupled to the inner plastic tube via the first adhesive layer; a second adhesive layer positioned about the aluminum layer; and an outer plastic layer positioned about the aluminum layer coupled to the aluminum layer via the second adhesive layer. The inner plastic tube is polyethylene of raised temperature. The outer plastic tube is polyethylene of raised temperature. The aluminum layer comprises AL 3555-O.

The inner plastic tube is polyethylene of raised temperature. The outer plastic tube is polyethylene of raised temperature. The aluminum layer comprises AL 3004-O.
Cosmetic containers and methods of manufacture
Methods of manufacturing and fixtures for manufacturing containers, particularly for holding cosmetic products, using thin-walled tubes. One end of a container may be formed using an integral process, such as insert molding, while the other end of the container is formed using assembly steps, such as welding, to form a completed cosmetics container from a thin-walled tube.
Methods and apparatuses for assembling elastic laminates with different bond densities for absorbent articles
The methods herein relate to assembling an elastic laminate with a first elastic material and a second elastic material bonded between first and second substrates. During assembly, an elastic laminate may be formed by positioning the first and second substrates in contact with stretched central regions of the first and second elastic materials. The elastic laminates may include two or more bonding regions that may be defined by the various layers or components of the elastic laminate that are laminated or stacked relative to each other. In some configurations, a first plurality of ultrasonic bonds are applied to the elastic laminate to define a first bond density in the first bonding region, and a second plurality of ultrasonic bonds are applied to the elastic laminate to define a second bond density in the second bonding region, wherein the second bond density is not equal to the first bond density.
Pouch-Shaped Secondary Battery Sealing Apparatus and Pouch-Shaped Secondary Battery Manufacturing Method
The present invention relates to a pouch-shaped secondary battery sealing apparatus and a pouch-shaped secondary battery manufacturing method capable of radiating an infrared laser to a sealed portion in an overlapping state, whereby it is possible to increase sealing force, to prevent occurrence of wrinkles, and to reduce sealing time when forming a sealed portion of a pouch-shaped secondary battery case.
