Fast and elastic adhesive
The present invention relates to a fast and elastic adhesive. Said adhesive includes two components, one including a monomer having an alkoxyalkyl ester group, a thickener, a thixotropic agent and a stabilizing agent. In the other component, a plasticizing agent, a thixotropic agent, and an initiating agent are included. This adhesive can be used to practically instantaneously bond substrates that can move relative to one another, or which may be bent or have the ability to absorb an impact, or to seal.
SILYLATED ADHESIVE COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED ADHESION ON METALLIC SUBSTRATES
1) Moisture curable silylated adhesive composition comprising: from 20% to 50% weight of a silane modified APAO; from 2% to 15% weight of a filler consisting of expanded hollow thermoplastic polymer microspheres; and from 10% to 60% weight of a tackifying agent.
2) Method for manufacturing an assembly product comprising: heating at from 130 C. to 180 C. said composition to make it liquid enough to be applied on a substrate, then coating said composition on the surface of a primary substrate, then putting into contact the coated surface of the primary substrate with the surface of a secondary substrate, then chemically curing the coated composition with water, preferably with atmospheric moisture.
Light guiding liquid glue and a touch sensitive display using the same
A light guiding liquid glue and a touch sensitive display using the same are provided. The light guiding liquid glue includes a liquid glue and a plurality of light guiding particles dispersed in the liquid glue, wherein volume percent of the light guiding particles in the light guiding liquid glue ranges between 10% and 50%. The light guiding particles have a light scattering property, which can transfer a linear light into a flat light, and therefore the light guiding liquid glue of the present disclosure has a light guiding property. The touch sensitive display includes a display panel and a touch panel. The light guiding liquid glue is disposed between the display panel and the touch panel, which can transmit evenly lights emitted from the display panel to outside of the touch sensitive display.
ADHESIVE BONDING METHOD FOR AUTOMATED PROCESSES
A method for adhesively bonding two substrates, including the steps: (a) applying a liquid, radiation-curable primer composition onto the surface of a first substrate; (b) curing the liquid, radiation-curable primer composition by applying radiation with a suitable wavelength, intensity and temporal exposure such that the radiation-curable primer composition is cured into a solidified, coherent or interrupted layer adhering to the surface of the substrate; (c) optionally storing the primed substrate for a time of up to 6 months; (d) applying a curable adhesive composition onto the cured primer composition on the substrate; (e) joining a second substrate to the adhesive composition on the first substrate such that an adhesive bond is formed between the substrates, wherein the surface of the second substrate to be adhesively bonded is optionally pre-treated to improve adhesion before step (e) is performed; (f) curing the curable adhesive composition.
PRESSURELESS BONDING PROCESS FOR ATTACHING SOLAR CELLS TO A PANEL
A method for forming a solar panel can include attaching one or more tacking pads to one or both of a first surface of a first solar panel subassembly and a second surface of a second solar panel subassembly. The method further includes dispensing an adhesive onto at least one of the first and second surfaces. The first and second surfaces are placed in contact with the one or more tacking pads, thereby tacking the first and second solar panel subassemblies together, during which the first and second surfaces contact the adhesive, thereby decreasing a thickness and increasing a surface area of the adhesive. Subsequently, the adhesive is cured. The tacking pad(s) maintain fixed alignment of the solar panel subassemblies during curing of the adhesive, and establish a bond line of the adhesive.
Method for Producing Plate Packs
Plate packs are produced from a sheet-like starting product (1), which is cut to form plates, which are stacked to form a plate pack. The plates within the plate stack are joined to one another by a bonding agent. The bonding agent used is a cyanoacrylate adhesive with a high temperature stability rating. It is applied to a wetting layer (14) for the adhesive. The wetting layer (14) is formulated to a pH in a region >7. The cyanoacrylate adhesive with a high temperature stability rating is able to spread on the wetting layer (14) such that effective wetting takes place, thus achieving quick and secure joining of the plates to one another.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING VEHICLE SHEET USING MOISTURE-CURING POLYURETHANE HOT MELT
Disclosed are a device and a method for manufacturing a vehicle sheet using a moisture-curing polyurethane hot melt. The device includes a first coating unit coating a supplied material with a first adhesive, a first pressing roller pressing a polyurethane foam which is supplied to the material coated with the first adhesive, a second coating unit coating a backing cloth, which is supplied while being spread using a screw roller, with a second adhesive, and a second pressing roller pressing the backing cloth coated with the second adhesive or a non-woven fabric on the pressed polyurethane foam, thus manufacturing the vehicle sheet.
Multi-layer wood composite block, multi-layer wood veneer, and method for the production thereof
The present invention relates to a multi-layer wood composite block, a multi-layer wood veneer and methods for producing the same. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the multi-layer wood veneer as a decorative and/or trim element, in particular in a vehicle interior, and articles comprising the multi-layer wood veneer.
BONDING ADHESIVE AND ADHERED ROOFING SYSTEMS PREPARED USING THE SAME
A bond adhesive composition comprising a polymer having a silicon-containing hydrolyzable terminal group and a hydrocarbon resin, where the composition is substantially devoid of phenolic resin.
