AUTOMATIC TEXTILE WINDING SYSTEM WITH MULTI-STRANDED ROTATABLE YARN FEED
A system for forming a non-woven, yarn structure for an engineered textile includes a jig having a plurality of upstanding pins and an automatic winding system for winding a plurality of continuous strands of yarn across the jig and around the upstanding pins. The automatic winding system includes a movement mechanism and a winding head coupled with the movement mechanism. The movement mechanism includes one or more motors that are configured to translate the winding head across a central workspace area of the jig. The winding head includes a rotatable base; a plurality of yarn guides arranged in a linear array and extending from the rotatable base, each yarn guide adapted to receive a different one of the continuous strands, and a rotation motor coupled to the rotatable base and configured to selectively rotate the base to alter an orientation of the linear array.
Paper label with polymer film reinforcement and method of manufacture
A method for manufacturing a roll of stock material for making a label having a shelf portion with pressure sensitive adhesive and a bib portion with deadened adhesive is provided. The shelf portion includes a layer of polymer. A continuous layer of paper is bonded to a continuous layer of polymer with applied strips of catalyzed adhesive from a roller. Unbonded strips of polymer are kiss-cut and removed to expose the paper between bonded strips of polymer. A continuous layer of pressure sensitive adhesive is applied over the polymer and exposed paper. Strips of deadening agent are applied over the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive that overlays the exposed paper. The pressure sensitive adhesive and deadening agent are cured and a release layer is applied over them.
Method for the production of a stack of laminations
In a method for manufacturing lamination stacks of controlled height in a tool, starting material is provided as continuous strip delivered from a coil or as an individual sheet. Laminations are punched from the starting material in several punching steps to a required contour of the laminations. A heat-curing adhesive is applied onto the laminations prior to performing a last punching step. The laminations are combined to a lamination stack. The laminations of the lamination stack are partially or completely heated in a lamination storage. The adhesive is liquefied by heating the lamination stack to build up adhesion and then solidified. Curing the adhesive at the liquefying temperature or solidifying the adhesive in the tool by cooling and subsequently heating the adhesive to a temperature below the liquefying temperature is possible so that the adhesive does not melt but undergoes further curing resulting in higher temperature stability.
Tamper evident hybrid resealable container
The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.
Wavelength conversion device and method of manufacturing wavelength conversion device
A wavelength conversion device that includes a plurality of crystal layers adjacent to one another such that crystal-axis orientations thereof are alternately arranged, the plurality of crystal layers each including a first-thickness portion having a first thickness and a second-thickness portion having a second thickness smaller than the first thickness; and an adhesive layer in at least part of a gap between adjacent second-thickness portions of the plurality of crystal layers and with which the plurality of crystal layers are bonded to one another.
Binding machine
A binding machine, includes a staple guide portion adjacent to a staple in a staple accommodating portion. A staple driver moves from below to above and pushes the staple located at the front end portion upward while pushing the crown portion of the staple. A clincher abuts against the pair of leg portions of the staple pushed out in a process of the staple driver moving upward from below so as to fold the pair of leg portions. The staple guide supports the crown portion of the staple from a side near a base end portion of the crown portion in a process of the staple being pushed out.
FLEXIBLE DISPLAY MODULE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A flexible display module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The flexible display module includes a substrate, a second glue layer, and a display panel disposed in a stack. Wherein, the display panel includes a bending area, and a first groove is defined in a third area of the substrate corresponding to the bending area and filled with a first glue layer. More deformation can be provided and bending stresses can be reduced by the first glue layer and the second glue layer, thereby improving bending resistance of the flexible display module.
Method for manufacturing an optical article
A method for manufacturing an optical article including the following steps: a. providing a first substrate with a main surface, b. depositing a second substrate on the main surface with an adhesive layer so that the space between the first substrate and second substrate is filled by the adhesive layer, c. curing the adhesive layer to induce a polymerization of the adhesive layer, wherein a tension step takes place after steps a. and b., and before step c., the tension step including applying symmetrically a tension, preferentially with a central symmetry, preferentially a radial isotropic tension or an ortho-distributed symmetrical tension, on the edges of the second substrate sensibly in a tension plan parallel to a plan representative of the main surface.
Laminate sheet
A laminate sheet is formed from a lamination system that includes a sheet supply, a material supply, and a laminator. The laminator causes a sheet from the sheet supply to be laminated to a sheet from the material supply to establish the laminate sheet. The laminate sheet includes film strips and a web coupled to the film strips.
Replacing Keyboard Characters
A computer keyboard is refurbished by applying to its keys stickers each bearing a character designating the action of a respective key. For application of the stickers to the keys, the stickers are configured and arranged on an application tape in a layout congruent with the layout of the keys by a digital scan of the keyboard. The stickers are temporarily attached to the application tape by a peelable adhesive and then permanently attached to the keys by a pressure-sensitive permanent adhesive.
