Printing system and method including magnetic coupling device

A system for transmitting rotational motion between a driving element and a driven element comprises a driving element that is coupled to a torque input that causes the driving element to rotate about a drive axis. The driving element comprises a first magnetic element. A driven element is configured to rotate about a driven axis. The driven element comprises a second magnetic element. Both the first magnetic element and second magnetic element are susceptible to a magnetic field, and at least one of the first and second magnetic element produces a magnetic field. A magnetic interaction between the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element couples the rotational motion of the driving element and the rotational motion of the driven element. The driving and driven elements are coupled at a predetermined rotational orientation with respect to each other.

Device and a method for clampingly positioning a heat transfer sheet around a substrate

A method and a device for clampingly holding against a substrate (8), for example a drinking cup, a heat transfer sheet (5) using a clamping sheet (2), comprising providing a device (1) with a substrate holder (10) for clampingly holding the substrate (8); providing a clamping sheet (2) with a width and a length, length being measured between longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet (2), and wherein at the longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet (2) coupling means (3) are provided; and positioning in catch means (4) of a positioning device the coupling means (3) for keeping the clamping sheet (2) in a first position.

Apparatus and process for printing beer barrels

An apparatus for printing a beer barrel includes a workbench, and a hydraulic pushing device, a barrel outer-sided printing device, and a barrel inner-sided printing device installed on the workbench. The barrel inner-sided printing device has a turntable rotating with respect to the Z-axis and mounted on the barrel, an inner mold installed onto a circumferential surface of the turntable for printing the inner side of the barrel. The barrel outer-sided printing device has a connecting frame moving linearly along the Y-axis direction. The connecting frame has an outer mold for printing an outer side of the barrel, and the hydraulic pushing device controls the outer mold to move linearly along the X-axis direction. The outer and inner molds print a sidewall of the barrel. This invention prevents unnecessary waste of manufacturing cost and time caused by the scrap of semi-finished products whose previous printing process becomes useless.

Vacuum decoration of a drinking or eating vessel

The present invention relates to a method for decorating a drinking or eating vessel, the method comprising: a. providing: i. a drinking or eating vessel, wherein the vessel comprises an inner surface that defines a volume for receiving a liquid or a solid food and an outer surface comprising a polymeric coating; and ii. a transfer sheet, wherein the transfer sheet comprises a printed decoration; and iii. a supporting means comprising a recess for receiving the vessel; and b. arranging the vessel within the recess of the supporting means thereby defining a lower portion of the outer surface of the vessel occluded from contact with the transfer sheet and an upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel for contacting the transfer sheet; and contacting the upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel and the supporting means with the transfer sheet under at least a partial vacuum, wherein the printed decoration is transferred from the transfer sheet to the upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel, and wherein the supporting means reduces stretching of the transfer sheet from the upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel to the lower portion of the outer surface of the vessel. Also described are associated uses, an apparatus, and drinking or eating vessels obtainable by the methods of the invention.

BALER IMPLEMENT AND PRINT SYSTEM FOR MARKING A BALE
20230403981 · 2023-12-21 ·

A baler implement includes a print system selectively configurable to print a plurality of available alpha-numeric characters on the bale. A marker controller is operable to receive data from a sensor related to a characteristic of the bale and then select a desired alpha-numeric character from the available alpha-numeric characters based on the data from the sensor. The marker controller may then configure the print system to select the desired alpha-numeric character, and actuate the print system to imprint the desired alpha-numeric character onto the bale, thereby marking the bale with the desired alpha-numeric character to communicate the characteristic of the bale.
