Baler with a moveable roller
A baler for forming a bale of crop material includes a plurality of walls defining a bale chamber. A drive roller and a plurality of idler rollers are disposed in the bale chamber. At least one baling belt contacts the drive roller and the plurality of idler rollers. A bale engagement roller is rotatable about a bale engagement roller axis. The bale engagement roller is positioned to directly engage crop material in the bale chamber. An actuator is coupled to the bale engagement roller. The actuator translates the bale engagement roller in a direction perpendicular to the bale engagement roller axis.
GUIDED BALE WRAPPER
Systems and methods for controlling a path of a bale wrapping machine are disclosed. The systems and methods encompass automatically controlling a path traveled by a bale wrapping machine along a selected route as wrapped bales are deposited on the ground. The bale wrapping machine may use geospatial positioning information to control a steering system of the bale wrapping machine in order to track the selected route.
Agricultural baler including a bale chamber with a low traction rotary compression element
A baler apparatus has a cylindrical bale-forming chamber defined by a set of compression elements positioned around the circumference of the bale-forming chamber, and drive means configured to drive rotary movement of the compression elements. At least one of the rotary compression elements is configured to provide a reduced level of traction relative to a bale in the bale chamber, as compared to at least the majority of the other rotary compression elements.
Net wrap lifting device
A baler includes a body, and a wrap system that is attached to the body. The wrap system is operable to support a roll of wrap material in an installed position. A cover is attached to the body, and is moveable between an open position and a closed position. When in open position, the cover provides access to the wrap system from an exterior location. When in the closed position, the cover encloses the wrap system from the exterior location. The baler includes a lift system attached to the body. The lift system is concealed between the body and the cover when the cover is disposed in the closed position. The lift system is positioned below the cover when the cover is disposed in the open position. The lift system raises the roll of wrap material into the installed position.
BALE IDENTIFICATION USING PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE OF TWINE PATTERN
A method of identifying a bale of material includes capturing an initial image of a region of an initial bale with an initial image sensor and identifying a unique band pattern of at least one multi-colored band of the initial bale. The identified unique band pattern is associated with the initial bale. Data related to the initial bale is associated with the identified unique band pattern. The identified unique band pattern of the initial bale may then be used as an identifier of the initial bale. A second image of the bale is captured and analyzed to determine if the second image includes the unique band pattern of the at least one multi-colored band, thereby identifying the bale in the second image as the initial bale. The data associated with the initial bale may then be retrieved by an operator.
Harvested bale wrapping material and sealing accessory to deliver and protect a closing adhesive
In a continuous roll of wrapping material for crops such as cotton or hay, or other objects, the individual wrapping segments are arranged so that a closing adhesive is part of a sealing accessory and otherwise protected by other structures of the sealing accessory until the point when this closing adhesive is to be exposed for securing a wrapping segment to itself, for example when encircling a subject bale harvested from a field, wherein adjacent wrapping segments separate from each other either at a point of weakness associated with perforations and the like.
COTTON BALER
The invention uses a new system which cuts and unlocks a wrapping material (PE film) for cotton in a continuous manner in cotton harvesting, and a new method in production of such film. The film consists of many segments that make many bales of cotton. The film is separated with perforation by laser or other methods. A double sided adhesive is used to glue the bale at the end of it, which is covered by a folded bridge. The bridge connects the both ends of the segments of the film. When perforated film is torn at a signal by the harvest machine, the bridge is unfolded as a leading edge for the next segment after a brief bridge linkage of both segments. The way of folding the bridge is key part of the invention, which accurately uncovers the end adhesive for the new bale and reduces the problem of tangling of the film at the time of separation.
Continuous Baler
A continuous baler having a movable section having an open mode and a closed mode. In the closed mode, the movable section is joined to a baling half chamber and a tying half chamber to form a baling chamber and a tying chamber, respectively. In the open mode, the movable section is moved away from the baling half chamber and tying half chamber, in order to allow passage of a bale formed in the baling chamber from the baling half chamber to the tying half chamber.
Wrapping Material And Method Of Manufacturing For Baling Materials
The present disclosure includes various methods of wrapping an item, such as harvested agricultural material, including steps such as unrolling a wrapping material portion from a roll of wrapping material portions, the unrolling starting at a leading end of the wrapping material portion and continuing along a length of the portion towards a trailing end of the portion, each wrapping material portion including a base film, a first adhesive substrate including a bottom adhesive surface attached to a first side of the base film of the wrapping material portion adjacent to the perforation, an outwardly facing first adhesive surface covered by a first release liner with a second adhesive surface facing outwardly and attached to a second side of the base film of the wrapping material portion when on the roll, and further unrolling the wrapping material portion from the roll of wrapping material portions such that the first release liner separates from the first adhesive surface, the first release liner remaining attached to the second side of the base film of the wrapping material portion and the first adhesive surface remaining attached to the first side of the base film of the wrapping material portion. Wrapping material portions may be connected to one another by perforations.
