System for prediction and control of drydown for windrowed agricultural products
Systems and methods for optimizing the collection of a windrowed crop are described. In an exemplary implementation, conditions data is accessed and used to estimate the moisture content of a windrowed crop. The estimated moisture content is used to create an optimal collection prescription for the operation of baling equipment to collect the crop. During the collection of the crop, the moisture content of the crop is measured and compared to the estimated moisture value. The system may then revise the optimal collection prescription based on the measured moisture value. This process can then be repeated until all of the windrowed crop is collected.
Apparatus and method for chipping tree branches and the like and baling wood chips formed from such chipping activities
The present invention relates generally to wood chippers and baling machines and methods of operation therefor, and more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for chipping tree branches and the like and baling wood chips formed from such chipping activities. The apparatus includes a chipper assembly having a chipping mechanism operable to reduce the trimmed branches to wood chips. Also provided is a bale forming assembly operatively connected to the chipper assembly. The bale forming assembly has a housing and a baling mechanism contained within an interior space of the housing. The housing has an opening defined therein for receiving wood chips from the chipper assembly. The opening provides access to the interior space of the housing. The baling mechanism is operable to form a bale from the wood chips produced by the chipper assembly.
Continuous Harvester with Crop Supply Chamber
The disclosure relates to a harvester capable of continuous bailing of crop material, particularly to a harvester comprising a crop supply chamber positioned in front of a bale chamber, capable of storing crop material during the wrapping of a bale of harvested crop material. The crop supply chamber further comprises a supply inlet at the bottom of the crop supply chamber, a movable control plate positioned within the crop supply chamber, and a movable rear wall capable of adjusting the size of the supply inlet.
Round baler
A round baler is provided with a bale-forming chamber and boundary apparatus of the bale-forming chamber that can be moved into an open position for ejecting a completed bale. The boundary apparatus includes a pivoting part rotatable between a first position, a second position and a third position. The axial dimensions of the bale-forming chamber can be changed by at least one side wall that can be moved by an adjustment drive. The adjustment drive is configured such that the axial dimensions of the bale-forming chamber increases when the pivoting part rotates to the second position and then reduces when the pivoting part rotates to the third position.
Accumulator System for Round Baler Belt Pre-Tension
An improved belt tensioning system for an agricultural round baler that increases belt tension to reduce slippage between the belts and the driving rolls during the initial stage of a bale forming cycle when the bale chamber is empty and as the belts are beginning to be rolled. The system includes an accumulator that is pressurized by the tensioning system as a bale is being formed. The accumulator pressure may then be directed to a hydraulic cylinder included in a bale density system to increase tension in the belts after a completed bale is ejected and the bale chamber is being reset for the next bale.

Tailgate motion adjustment system
The disclosure relates to a system for maintaining proper tension in the one or more fluidly movable belts during the tailgate closing process of a baling cycle. Sensors are used to obtain position data of the bale density system and tailgate system. This information is used by a controller, which then calculates if an adjustment to the speed of the tailgate is necessary to maintain proper tension in the movable belts.

Baler connectable to a tractor for providing round bales and method for producing round bales
A baler connectable to a tractor for providing round bales comprises: a baling chamber for receiving crops for forming the bale, the baling chamber being supported on a wheel axle; a conveying assembly, including a belt which at least partially delimits the baling chamber for imparting a rotating movement to the crops contained in the baling chamber; a pick-up device, configured for picking-up the crops from a field; a feeding system, configured for feeding the crops to the baling chamber; a binder, configured for binding a formed bale with a fastening element.
SERPENTINE PIVOT ROLL
An agricultural baler assembly having: a frame; a tailgate pivotally connected to the frame at a tailgate pivot and movable about the tailgate pivot between a closed tailgate position and an open tailgate position, wherein the tailgate and the frame define a bale chamber when the tailgate is in the closed tailgate position; a pivot roller fixed concentric to the tailgate pivot; and a belt wrapped around the pivot roller with the pivot roller between a portion of the belt wrapped around the pivot roller and the bale chamber. Methods for operating an agricultural baler are also provided.
